Craftspiration - August 29th, 2024

Hi friends,

It's hard to believe that it's our last Craftspiration for the month of August. It's been a blast to see all of your excellent projects during this birthday month. We love to embrace the season early, and we've enjoyed seeing the lovely fall projects and more that were shared with us last week. Come admire all of the pretty paper projects below.

Susan said, "Anna Griffin I have finally been able to spend time making some cards again, now that my Steve is starting to heal more. Sadly, I had to make two encouragement cards this week for friends with cancer… but I fiiiinally got to make a happy card yesterday for a friend’s birthday!"

Heidi posted, "Also made these for a thank you to our beautiful in the making ladies. Who helped to carry our group engaged while Marie was on vacation."
What pretty Parisian cards!
Cynthia shared, "A quick thank you for a friend with whom I went to the Jane Austen film festival here in DC."
Joy wrote, "I made these 'Autumn Wedding Cake' cards playing with Anna's Simply Rocking Birthday Card Kit & using it to create 'regular' cards...Anna's Fall Papers & Embellishments."
Annie Laura shared, "My second birthday card for Great Granddaughter !!
I might just show it to her for awhile and then putting in her scrapbook! Everything is Anna’s except the little girl, little boy & dog. Flowers are from my spare box of China Cabinet Florals I spent time cutting multiple times to layer pieces for 3-D effect. I just love making cards for the little ones!"
Sherry said, "One of my projects today was making a Birthday card. Using the instructions from Anna's FS class I made a swing out card. There are a whole lot of different elements and techniques that went into making this card. But my goal was to construct a masculine card that fit the receivers personality."
Yvonne posted, "A whimsical butterfly dress made with Lian. Topped with a Dresden crown and a blue swallow carrying the sentiment. Lian is just too pretty to cover up."
Fifi made this lovely fall harvest truck card.
Gay Lynn said, "A Halloween card with some retro black cats and a little glitter!"
Vanessa posted, "I used the Christmas die to make a Halloween Village, love Halloween and Fall!"
Dayle posted, "I made a fall kick stand card using papers and embellishments from the Halloween Vellum Card Toppers kit. And used Anna’s gold metallic foil and the Harvest Cut and Emboss to make pumpkins and leaves. The kick stand was made with the new fall borders. I love how versatile this style of card is for not just birthdays but all occasions. Anna’s birthday greetings finishing school class demonstrates perfectly how to make this type of card."
Kaye made this gorgeous card! Love the Celebration Stickers.
Mary Beth said, "A different approach for a fall themed sympathy card..."
Maria wrote, "Favor boxes for a special Griffinites lunch honoring Malibu Jane using Hermosa and Quotes and Flowers."
Arlene shared, "This Halloween season keep your eye to the sky….My card base is from Carte Noire and used the Slimline Witch Dies for the house frame. The embellishments are from Witchy Cardmaking kit. Used Halloween rub ons for the bottles."
Marilyn posted, "I was asked to make a unicorn card for a little sweetie that turned 3 this past Friday. Short on time, I combined scraps from a previous unicorn card I made with the Simply Rocking Birthday kit recently received in the August Mystery Box. She loved it!"
Patti posted, "Weekend challenge is to use our older dies, the Ornate Frame Dies. For my card I used Thankfulness Paper Kit, and Hummingbird Stickers and Sentiments."
Donna shared, "I have almost completed my Simply Thanksgiving Card Kit. I made this card for a very dear friend using the new Grateful Paper Doll Stickers. I love the new sentiments that have been included."
Diane shared, "I’ve had fun making Halloween treat bags for my grandkids & close friends, using the Trick or Treat Box Dies. They work up fast & easy and would put a smile on anyone’s face!!!"
Beth said, "Halloween cards, love these!"
Sally posted, "I used the Simply Noel Scrapbook Kit to create this layout of my mother. You can see my mother’s joy in the picture when she opened the doll I gave her. I used techniques and inspiration from everything you’ve taught us in past Create Crop at Home events. Thanks Anna for all the “Beautiful in the making!”"
Kim said, "Working on a few Thanksgiving cards today. The Simply Thanksgiving Card Making Card Kit makes it so easy to create a few cards for the upcoming season."
Diane, "Combining dies & cutouts from embossing folders from some of Anna’s other Halloween sets, I created a cemetery card scene with the adorable ghost’s from the new Halloween Costumes Dies."
