Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to show some love than with a handmade treat box? The Candy Wrapper Box Die Set is here to help you create the cutest gift boxes ever! This festive set includes everything you need: the main box die, a decorative layering die, a nested window die, tag and heart dies, and score lines for that signature crinkle-paper look. So fun and just your style!
Let’s jump into making your own candy wrapper box. It’s always fun to make a little gift that’s big on charm!
First, cut two candy wrapper shapes from your favorite cardstock (we used the French Fan Refill), nesting the window die inside. Use the decorative die to help with placement.
Remove the decorative die and cut your two wrapper pieces.
Next, cut two box pieces and two window frames from pink cardstock. Also cut one tag and one heart from the matte pink foil.
Decorate your candy wrapper pieces. Add acetate behind the windows with double-sided adhesive, then layer on the pink frame, a gold foil embellishment and floral stickers. So pretty!
(Acetate can be cut to 2.25” x 3.75” for windows).
Assemble your box. Adhere the two box pieces together using double-sided adhesive, including the tabs.
Put both of the candy wrapper pieces onto the box structure.
Attach your decorated candy wrapper sides to the box structure.
Make sure everything is secured.
Now’s the time to fill your box with something sweet— chocolates, candies or even confetti!
Thread satin ribbon through the tag and heart.
Tie each end of the box closed with a pretty bow.

Add your favorite embellishments to create sweet valentines.
Want to get fancy? Add sequins and turn it into a shaker box. So creative!

Though it has “Valentine’s Day” die cut heart with it, you can just change out the paper for any appropriate holiday and use this versatile die cut!
I even used mine to create a Christmas scene inside.
