Butterfly Pattern Cut and Emboss Folders- Made Easy

Hi crafters,

Today, we’re taking your creativity to new heights with a stunning card made using the  Butterfly Pattern Cut and Emboss Folders. These folders are not only elegant and detailed— they’re also a fabulous way to stretch your crafting skills by thinking beyond the ordinary.

Our project features a beautiful, layered card with multiple textures and intricate embossing that brings a luxurious touch to any card. But here’s the fun part— we’re not just using the dies and folders in the traditional way. We're fussy cutting and inking to add dimension and unexpected flair! It’s all about exploring new techniques with tools you already love!

Let's get started!

First, we embossed a piece of green cardstock using the Gothic Butterflies folder. Wax paper protects the paper and ensures easy removal.

On the back of a piece of matte gold cardstock, trace the inside oval from one of the Birthday Festival Dies and cut it out.

Next, emboss the layer that you just cut the oval from.

Use a craft knife to remove the middle from a green diecut (Birthday Festival).

Use a dauber to add ink to the embossed parts of your green layer.

Then add layers (we used Birthday Festival) to your card base with foam adhesive.

Add your inked layer with foam adhesive.

Next, adhere the gold with the oval cut out.

Now, the green, fussy cut layer is added on top.

Flowers and flourishes add just the right amount of movement.

Attach the Birthday Wishes sentiment and your card is ready to send!

You will love all of the ways that you can use the Butterfly Pattern Cut and Emboss Folders.

You will find yourself reaching for this set time and time again for quick and easy layers.

The details in this set are unmatched! Just look at the way the designs pop off the cards.

If you don’t already own the Butterfly Pattern Cut and Emboss Folders, this is your sign to grab them. These are a must have in your craft room if you adore timeless designs, graceful details and endless crafting possibilities. You’ll be amazed by how versatile they are and enjoy using them for paper projects of all kinds.

Bye for now,

Anna

I for one am on Team Cut and Emboss Folders. Two techniques for the price of one!! Who doesn’t want that easy and fast way of creating something so beautiful? The window technique is a fun way to showcase your favorite paper of die or embossing folder. You can always cut the center out of the paper before putting it in the Embossing Folder. Run both pieces through and then you have 2 embellishments.

Thank you for another great tutorial.
Happy Crafting!

Can’t wait to try this technique.
