Floral and matte gold foil bookmark with cascade of Annalise flowers

Bookmark Dies - Made Easy

Hello,

Today we are going to make an incredible gift to give inside your cards, or along with a book that you are gifting. Who doesn't love a beautiful bookmark to hold their place in a wonderful novel, an inspirational guide or beach read? Today, we're going to show you how to make a lovely bookmark with some of the items from your craft room. If you don't have this set you can grab yours on sale on our website this week! This set of 5 dies makes 4 different bookmarks that are perfect for all occasions.

First, we used a piece of paper from our Annalise Papercrafting Kit and used the traditional bookmark shadow layer die to cut it.

Use the intricate layer on a piece of matte gold foil and matte pink foil cardstock.
Add the gold intricate layer to the shadow layer with foam adhesive. We used the smallest of our adhesive so that it doesn't show.
We used a Xyron to add adhesive to the pink intricate layer and added it to the back of your bookmark so that it's beautiful on both sides.
We used some of our favorite Annalise embellishments to decorate the top of the bookmark.
Create a cascade of flowers and a flourish as shown.
Add a pink perfectly tied bow and ribbon through the top hole of the bookmark.
Now it's time to gift your bookmark!
Your bookmarks will hold your place in a beautiful way.
The butterfly design creates a paperclip-like design.
Make tonal bookmarks like this pretty, purple bookmark.
Use your favorite patterns to make your bookmark reflect your personal style.
Cover your corners with gorgeous roses! This unique shape is sure to please.
The teacup design also has the paperclip design and is so much fun to inlay. Use your favorite coordinating colors and patterns for a cohesive look.
Sending one of these bookmarks is a great way to add a little something extra in with your cards. Incorporate them into your card design for a fun addition.
You will love making bookmarks that match your cards to gift. Each design is more beautiful than the next and you can personalize them for each season, occasion and theme. Have fun making beautiful combinations with the Bookmark Dies. We know that we have some bibliophiles here, so be sure to drop a book that we should read this summer in the comments!
This tutorial is here for the next week, and afterwards it will be archived into our library of over 700 videos. Become an AG Member for unlimited access, and don't forget... we have a Members Only livestream today at 12pm EDT!
Xoxo,
Anna

Always enjoy watching your tutorials. I am thinking I may need to add to my die collection. 🤔. Thank you.

I love slipping these sweet bookmarks in a card like a little gift. It really is a great way to use up scraps. I made around 30 of these for a Senior Center book club. All from scraps.

Jane Robison

I made some book marks for my card club and they loved them!

Have make many bookmarks from these dies and had fun doing it. Great way to use up paper scraps and embellishment leftovers. Recipients have been delighted with their special bookmarks. What a creative idea.
