Hi crafters,
There’s nothing quite like gathering in person with kindred spirits who love beautiful paper, thoughtful details and meaningful connection! Recently, the AZ Griffin Gals got together for their AZ Griffin Gals Spring Convention 2026, and it was a weekend filled with creativity, laughter and heartfelt connection.

It was the kind of weekend that reminds us just how special this community truly is!

Friday was their official welcome day as Barbie and Pam arrived in Phoenix. After not seeing each other in person for a year, it was a joyful reunion filled with catching up, planning and excitement for the days ahead. The group gathered for a welcome dinner where laughter flowed as easily as the margaritas. Barbie, Stacy and Jane especially enjoyed the festive start! Barbie also surprised everyone with thoughtful gifts, making the evening even more special.

Saturday took the group on a scenic drive to Tucson for a full day of crafting at BlueMoon Scrapbooking. Ann and Susan, the shop owners, led a beautiful class in mixed media chipboard flip books, inspiring everyone with new techniques and ideas.

From there, the day unfolded into hours of shopping, crafting and chatting well into the evening. Meals were shared, projects were created and laughter filled the room. In fact, there was so much laughter that many said their faces hurt the next morning! It was a full and joyful day spent doing what they love most, together.

Sunday brought the group to Mesa for another day of crafting and celebration. From morning until evening, the room was filled with creativity, sisterhood and generosity.
There were thoughtful gifts exchanged, a wonderful crafting demonstration from Stacy and an incredible raffle filled with generously donated supplies. A heartfelt thank you goes to Cat, whose generosity continues to shine year after year. Even though she could only stop by briefly, she brought beautiful Anna Griffin card kits to donate and shared a quick moment with the group before heading out.
The day was filled with projects, delicious shared meals and the kind of connection that makes time stand still. No one wanted the day or the weekend to end!

Monday was their final day together, beginning with an early breakfast before slowly tapering off. A little shopping made for a fun and relaxed close to the weekend. That evening, they gathered one last time for dinner, saying their goodbyes and already looking ahead to “until next year.”

This is what makes the Arizona Griffinites so special. It’s not just the beautiful things they create, it’s the friendships, generosity and shared experiences that bring everything to life. As they so beautifully shared, “All of this is because of Anna Griffin. We never would have met each other in person had Anna not brought us together virtually. We are forever grateful.”
Barbie and Jane would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this year’s AZ Griffin Gals Spring Convention 2026. It was truly unforgettable.

We are so grateful for this incredible community. Thank you for sharing your creativity and your time together with all of us. We cannot wait to see what you make next and we hope more of you continue to gather, create and celebrate together!

Amazing and heartwarming! Nowhere else have I seen such a connection with crafters like the Griffinite community. Certainly a tribute to Anna and her whole team who make crafting such a rewarding experience even when you are not part of a group.
Connections and Creativity. That is why we Create.
I Love to see this beautiful community in action! Great Job Griffinites!!! This is what it is all about….the fellowship with others and spreading joy! I love all the effort people put into making these experiences unforgettable!!!!!
I live in Sun City West, and would love to meet up with your group, if you’re taking new interested people. I have tried to reach out last fall at Create 2025 in the fall, without any response. Your group looks like a ton of fun and inspiration.
