Anna Griffin | Create Spring 2026- A Look Back

Hi crafters,

As we look back on Create Spring 2026, our hearts are overflowing with so much gratitude for the beautiful weekend we shared together. What began as a crafting event became something so much more: a journey of connection, creativity, friendship and personal growth!

Our Create events are so important to us, and year after year we work tirelessly to put on  creative weekends that crafters from around the world can immerse themselves in, take  time for themselves to be creative and come away with skills that can be applied to future paper projects and beyond. Create is a true labor of love from start to finish, and we hope you can see and feel the amount of time and care that goes into every aspect!

This year's Create was centered around three guiding themes: Grace, Courage and Love. Together, these themes shaped every project, conversation and moment we shared throughout the weekend. Looking back, it's amazing to see how each day built upon the last, creating an experience that was truly unforgettable! We are SO proud of everything that we accomplished together, and to connect with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your life!

Day One: Grace

We began our weekend with grace. Grace asks us to slow down, appreciate each step and find beauty in what we make and in the process. On day one and throughout the event, we gave grace to ourselves and to others. As crafters from around the world gathered together, there was an immediate sense of excitement and possibility. New friendships formed, familiar faces reunited and creative energy filled both the chat and the virtual craft room.

Throughout the day, we learned new skills for both scrapbooking and card making, explored beautiful projects and embraced the joy of making something with our own hands. More importantly, we gave ourselves permission to slow down and simply enjoy the experience! One of the most magical things about Create is the fellowship that happens naturally when people come together with a shared passion. Whether chatting in the craft room, connecting through messages or laughing together late into the evening, grace set the tone for a weekend filled with kindness and encouragement!

Day Two: Courage

On Saturday, we turned our attention to courage. Creativity asks us to be present, to be open and to trust ourselves enough to try something new (and maybe even unfamiliar). For many attendees, coming to Create was an act of courage in itself; some joined for the very first time! Others stepped outside their comfort zones by learning different techniques, going to the virtual craft room or even by sharing their work with the community. Throughout the day, we were reminded that courage doesn't mean having all the answers. It means showing up anyway!

We heard inspiring stories from attendees who took a chance on themselves, embraced new experiences and discovered that they were capable of more than they imagined. The encouragement shared between crafters was a beautiful reminder that none of us are creating alone. During one of our live guest interviews Anna said, "You are my new best friend. I just hadn't met you yet!" That spirit of friendship was woven into every class, every conversation and every project we completed together.

Day Three: Love

Our final day was dedicated to love. Love is the reason we create! Every card, scrapbook page and handmade project carries a message that says, "I see you. I care about you. You matter." As we completed our final projects, we reflected on the true purpose behind our creativity. The cards we make become treasured keepsakes. The scrapbook pages preserve precious memories. The gifts we create become tangible expressions of care and affection.

What we create is so much more than paper, ribbon and embellishments. We create moments that live on in the hearts and hands of the people who receive them. Perhaps one of the most meaningful reflections from the weekend was: "You come for the paper, but stay for the people!"

Beautiful in the Making

As the weekend came to a close, we realized that grace, courage and love aren't just  themes for an event. They are qualities we bring into our creative lives every day. Grace allows us to enjoy the journey. Courage gives us the confidence to keep growing. Love gives purpose to everything we create. We adore seeing all of the things you continue to create for yourself and for others using the gorgeous extras from the event.

To everyone who joined us for Create Spring 2026, thank you. Thank you for sharing your creativity, your stories, your laughter and your hearts with our incredible community. You helped make this weekend truly unforgettable, and it's such an honor to know you. Until we create together again, remember that we are all beautiful in the making!

Such great memory pics from Spring Create 2026—-was such fun, can’t wait for Nov’s Fall Create 2026….hoping there are some Christmas Ornaments to make again this year, I love Christmas Ornaments, I collect Christmas ornaments have over 500 different ornaments, I have been collecting since 1984. I have lots of Disney Ornaments each different, but lots of others, some from what my god-children were into that year, some things I am into, and no 2 are exactly the same and I have loved the Anna Griffin Create ornaments and have them on my tree as well I have made them all from my 1st Create was Nov 2022 to last years, hoping to have a few more this year to add from our Nov Create.

Such a wonderful reflection of those themes from the best principles to live by—grace (twice the benefit of the doubt, renewed day by day); courage (to try, to meditate, to learn from); and love (extending benevolence around us). It was a pleasure and my good fortune, meeting up in a community where these flourish; and, I’m very much looking forward to the ‘reunion’ at CREATE November 2026! Sending gratitude, Anna and AG TEAM!

What a great Create Spring 2026! I felt more in control and not overwhelmed. I gave myself GRACE when I didn’t do everything perfectly. I reached down within myself and used COURAGE to complete over 30 cards. At the end, the gift of LOVE shown was so obvious to see from Anna & Team and all my fellow Griffinites. It gets better and better! Can’t wait for the next one!
