Navy and floral bicycle card with pretty white and blue details

3D Bicycle Easel Dies - Made Easy

Hi Griffinites,

Get ready for a lovely ride with the 3D Bicycle Easel Dies! Today we are making the prettiest bicycle complete with all the details you know and love from Anna Griffin. We're going to make a unique card together using items from your craft room and show you how to further embellish your card with all the bells and whistles. If you don't have the 3D Bicycle Easel Dies, you can get them on sale on our website this week only!

If you do have this incredible die set, get ready to make this card with us!

First, cut the easel out of a double-sided cardstock; we used a pattern from the Floral Double-Sided Cardstock.

Next, it's time to cut the other colors and textures for the bike. Cut the intricate layer of the bike from Gold Matte Foil Cardstock, Navy Metallic Cardstock and a small piece for the gear in Black Matte Foil Cardstock. We also cut the shadow layer with the back of the first Floral Double-Sided Cardstock.

It's all in the details! Diecut the bike seat, banner, flag, basket and wheels as shown.

Warm up all of the score lines and fold the easel forward and add a strip of tear tape to the tab.

Add the shadow layer on top of the easel.

Next, put foam adhesive on the back of the matte gold foil cardstock and attach to the shadow layer.

Add the navy layer on top of the gold, slightly offset. From here you will start to add the details. The bike seat, bike gear and white wheels will bring your bicycle to life.

To make the white wheels, fussy cut the middle of the wheels out as shown, and add to the bike.

A flower filled basket is so cheerful, don't you think?

Next adhere your banner and flag to the card.

Push the card up and back. Place the sentiment and a floral sticker (this one is from out Carte Canton Bleu Finishing School Craft Box) to the bottom of the card. This holds your card up!

Now you have the most beautiful birthday card to send. It's sure to bring a smile to whoever receives it!

What's great about the 3D Bicycle Easel Card Dies is that you can customize them for occasions of all kinds! How cute are the roses in the middle of the wheels?

A golden bicycle is a lovely way to send a note to someone you love.

Play with colors, patterns and textures to create just what you want! You know we love florals on everything!

We have been loving all the bicycle easel cards posted on our social media channels. Whether you are making masculine cards, birthday cards or even placeholders you can always reach for the 3D Bicycle Easel Dies. Today's tutorial will be available here on the blog for the next week. This is such a cute die…it’s been on my wish list for sometime now, I think it should come off the list and go into my stash of Anna Griffin dies. 🥰

Love the bicycle die set! So much fun to make. I really like your idea of using 2 cuts of the bicycle to make an offset in gold. Thank you💞🚲🌷
