  • One of my big dreams is to go to an Anna Griffin Create event in my lifetime. I’m going to start saving now for next year if I don’t win this year. I’ve been through some tough times since my husband passed and my budget just won’t budge this year but sometimes you just have to do what makes you happy and not dwell on the past. It’s not the cost that matters the most, it’s the happiness that it brings. And the happier you are, the more you can spread that around to others. It is worth it!!!

  • I want to come to create 8 Anna Griffin pick me! It has been since create one that I was able to make it happen for myself. Then life’s given me a few swift kicks in the butt the past few years but I miss My time with all my craft friends and all the time that we spent together learning with you and all the other amazing ladies you brought with you I would love to be blessed to go and be a part of creating with you guys I think I would cry actually, I know I would. I’ve got my fingers crossed, my knees crossed, my toes crossed, even my eyes crossed!   • I would love to win Create 8 so please pick me Miss Anna Griffin. I just got out of rehab yesterday after spending almost 3 weeks in the hospital followed by 5 days of rehab. It was a trying time for me and my family. First, I was bored beyond belief. The tv’s at the hospital and rehab had no HSN so I missed the September Craft Day. Second, I was not able to bring my laptop so I missed all your emails. I was finally able to get some much needed craft relief, when the rehab nurse allowed me to create some cards from my Slimline Birthday Card kit. I had only created 3 cards when the Activities Director came in and asked if I’d be interested in sharing how I made my cards. I proudly taught 5 women how to create 3 cards each. They loved the flower stickers and the layering of paper elements. I made a new friend who lives close to me and I’d love to share all that Create 8 has with my new friend, Louise. I’d could also use a card kit to share with the rehab as I will soon be volunteering there.

  • i have a very good friend who could use a bit of love and distraction with a Create kit, her name is Kathy K, she just lost someone in her family and is really having a hard time. Nothing can take the pain of losing a loved one but maybe it could give her something to look forward to. She has made cards with me before and is very talented.   • These cards are beautiful. I would LOVE to win a card kit. I use Anna’s various card kits . At Christmas and each year I put a different nativity in there I make a total of 40 or maybe a little more . I give them to people in our Sunday school class and in the WOM church group . I also make Anna’s sympathy cards , birthday cards, thinking of you cards for encouragement ( we all need it from time to time ) . I love making Anna’s cards they are beautiful. It’s my way of showing my love to others and they love getting them . It brightens there day . And I love seeing how much they appreciate it and Love the beauty of the cards .   • I didn’t get the opportunity to watch you on Win It Wednesday, but I did get the chance to view the review. I would love to have one of the Create 8 tickets for the upcoming event. This would be my first time getting to enjoy a class like this. I love all the products that Anna sends out for us to purchase and truly enjoy watching her preview the products. I know the classes would be the best part of learning to make each of the cards, etc. that Anna will be presenting us with.   • I think ; Every one of us would love to win Create 8 event., we all love Anna products and most of us have followed Anna for more than 10 plus years.   • Please pick me for the Create 8. I am not able to purchase one this year as my little dog has just gone through 3 very pricy surgeries. People may think I’m crazy to spend several thousands on an animal but she is family and we love her to death. She is almost back to her old self. One leg surgery (#3) left to go. I have attended the two scrapbook Creates but have not as yet participated in this Create and I would so love to be able to win this gift.

  • Anna and Stephanie, I would love to be the lucky recipiant of the ticket to Create 8. I don’t have instgram or any other way of sending you a message so I hope you read this blog. Because of a money crunch due to some serious hospital bills, that I have to say are worth every penny becasue my husband is doing so much better, money is extremely tight.

    Just a little shout out to the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Mayo for helping my husband not only get better but helping him keep up his spirts as he was doing it.

    We are on a fixed income so with the new bills, there is no way I would even mention Create 8 to my husband. I know it would just make him feel guilty that he couldn’t give me something he would know I would enjoy.

    My husband is a big fan of all things Anna Griffin. My house is a testiment to that. Now buying things are out so I will just have to get to work using what I have on hand.

    Still, I love learning new ideas. I like to make cards for friends and family but I just am not a very creative person. I see Anna make a card in minutes but it takes me hours and my family knows it which I believe is why they appreciate them so much.

    So if I’m not the person you choose, I won’t sit and pout. I will be very happy for the lucky winner. Congradulations Jane for winning the ticket to Create 8 that was given away last week.   • I absolutely love the spinner cards! I first tried them at a Create when they left the box on the table for everyone to share! They are so easy and so much fun for the recipient. I have even put a photo on the back of the spinning circle, especially if it’s for a birthday!

    PS why not start an “Anna Griffin Create scholarship fund “that we could all contribute to and provide opportunities for those that aren’t as fortunate?

    The spinner card kits are wonderful. I have the gentleman’s spinner kit. Have made many beautiful cards for the men in my life with it. One of these kits would come in handy for birthdays and Valentine’s Day.

  • I would really love to win the Create 8 ticket. I have been in the hospital twice in the last 6 months and had to have a cardiac procedure. Needless to say I’m still paying off my medical bills and don’t have the money for create. Am I more deserving than anyone else? No, but I would like to be considered for the ticket.   • I would love to receive the Valentines spinner card kit. It sold out on HSN before I could get it for myself. Even though I no longer have my husband, I still make Valentines cards for my nieces and nephews. I also make Valentines card for my brothers to give to their wives. They flatter me to say my cards are better than any they could buy in the stores. I would truly love to win the Create box (boxes?). This would be the first time I would be able to participate. My husband had cancer and while caring for him I was not able to take time for myself to do things like take classes. Working with my AG cardmaking supplies did give me much stress relief during that time. Now that my husband has passed away, I have the time to do something for myself like Create classes. Thank you

    I would love to participate in Create 8- but would participate from my temporary home in a skilled nursing facility or at home if I’m out of here by then. I am here recovering from complications due to chemo. Crafting is my solace- once I was able to be out of bed, friends and family moved most of my paper crafting materials and my Empress to my room so I can make cards. The staff has enjoyed watching my creative process; now in addition to making special cards for all the people who have supported me, I’m making cards for special people in their lives. Some friends visiting have watched the finishing school videos for the kits I have and have spent time making cards for their families. That time with friends has been a silver lining through this. I am very grateful for everything I stashed to makes cards and projects. Right now much of every day is filled with all things Anna Griffin!

  • Hi, Dear Anna & Stephanie, Last year I attended my first Create event , Create 7 & can’t even express how much I loved the community, the generosity, actually making some friends with other Griffinites in my State. The “Cardshack” alone was such a treat.

    I retired in June & while I now have even more time to be creative. With my extra time I’ve been creating cards for the residents at an extended care facility near me.
    I have less funds to be sure.
    While enjoying the freedom & extra time retirement has brought me, there are less funds to be sure for Create 8.
    I’m sure lots of people have better reasons to be selected to win this amazing gift, but I’m throwing my hat in the ring anyway.

I’ve wanted to be able to somehow be able to buy a ticket so I could join in with all the other Griffinites working away making beautiful items & learning new things. Thought I was going to be able to do it on my own by getting an early Christmas gift from my husband but while we were away for the weekend my kitty almost lost his life. He was unable to pass any urine on his own & ended up having 3 very risky surgeries (1 was having to remove his penis) within 3 days. After being in the hospital for 9 days they allowed us to bring him home hoping it would help him. He is still in critical condition (as is our wallet) but I know the Lord will allow him to live on. Seems like this year has been a horrible one for us with me getting cancer back, needing spinal surgery & the list goes on. Working on your beautiful cards is part of my healing process as all I’m allowed to do is relax & working on my cards to give to others & for me it is the #1 thing I enjoy being able to do.
    Of course I would also enjoy winning one of the Sprinner is something I haven’t been able to get into yet & would be happy to have one of them.

I live in rural West Virginia and the closet craft store is at least 80 miles one way! I used to go these 80miles, with my sister who passed away with breast cancer 10 years ago, to crops. But haven’t been to a crop in a few years. The small store where we went closed. I purchase most of what I get online. I will never be able to purchase a ticket to a Create event.     • Hi Anna and staff. I was so excited to see the generosity of Stephanie and Anna’s ability to offer the Create 8 weekend classes. Prior to retirement I was able to do a weekend class about two years ago. I learned so much during the classes even though I was always behind. I did not plan well. My son was a missionary in France and while he was there, there were 11 terrorist attacks it was so scary but the Eiffel Tower stood firm and shone its light in the darkness of the world, much like Christmas.     I would be thankful to win anything but Create 8 would be amazing. I was able to experience Create the first year you had it online and it was amazing! I have since retired and am on a fixed income, so it is no longer possible for me to make this purchase.     As for Create 8, although I would love to win, I am actually asking to consider a friend. She is retired but has been helping her brother’s start up business for two years now, all because she wants to be helpful. Her husband has had some heart issues, and her son is now living with them as well. She is an amazing grandmother, willing to drop everything to drive 100 miles to baby sit. If I need anything, she is right there with a ride. The amazing thing was she and her husband demolished my kitchen 4 years ago after I finally, after 40 years, was able to get new cabinets, flooring and counters. They put in days of work ripping everything out and moving appliances. Then came back to move everything back in. She never says a bad word about anyone and is always there to help. As much as I have tried to repay her I can’t do everything I would like. She does like to craft and I know she would love to participate. Just please consider her. Thank you.

I read all the comments I could find after Create 7 and the common theme seemed to be how much FUN everyone had and how much they LEARNED during the classes.   • Oh my goodness. What I wouldn’t do for a create event package. Please pick me! I’m a retired railroad worker who just loves making cards for my special friends.
    Being retired makes it a bit difficult to partake in the event due to cost. I know the value of your products because I have many and use them all the time. How wonderful it would be to be able to learn and create more.

  • My husband was always in awe of the cards I made with your kits. If I didn’t order one, he would surprise me and order one for me. Unfortunately, I lost him in May and I greatly miss my critic, but I will continue to making the cards which everyone loves so much.

    • Sympathies on your loss. My hubby of 45 years has been in Heaven almost 3 years. Missing your “card critic” love will get easier. Enjoy the blessings of your countless memories. The first year after my hubby died, I treated myself to Create 6, the 1st at home, as an extravagant birthday gift. CREATE is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED even though mine was overwhelming. They now have you pre-prep the AG paper/cardstock. During Create 7 I was weekend dad-sitting my 95 year old dad who is also now in Heaven. Create 8? Even though I would love to attend, I’m already obligated to a vacation trip that has taken my mad $$$ for this year. Maybe Create 9 is in my future…I’m contributing $50 per month to a MAD $$$ fund. The hard part is not dipping into the fund.

  • Congratulations to the winners this week! Anna, I have never made a spinner card, but would love to try! I’m so excited about the wonderful people who have gifted a Create 8 ticket and wish I had the funds to join in the joy of giving. I, myself, purchased a Create ticket for the first time this year as I’ve always wanted to attend. However, after purchasing the ticket, I found that I will be a vendor at a craft show the same weekend, but I’m still excited that I’ll be able to watch the replays!

  • I have always wanted to be a part of create and for many years I have been following and hearing about the wonderful time and friends that are made but unfortunately I have not been able to participate either in person or online.   • I would love to win create 8. It would give me a much needed reprieve from the burdens of being a caregiver. Our son is a blessing but since his stroke his care is much more intense. She has attended several Create events and her cards have been highlilghted on FMF and on Thursday’s Craftspiration. She indicated that because of schedule conflicts and other expenses this year, she w ill is unable to attend.

  • I would love to win a space at Create 8. I’ve been a fan of Anna’s products for a long time and even have a scrapbook kit that came with a instruction video on a VHS tape! When I was working mom with 4 girls, there was never a good time to take to leave for a weekend to learn how to create beautiful pages with her paper products, stamps and punches. Now that I’m retired and the girls are out of the house. I now have the time but not the resources to purchase this incredible box of 9 classes and supplies. Have you ever thought of doing a box for the individual days instead of the entire weekend?

Being able to learn so much and learning from home is wonderful but also being a part of the group and learning along with others and being able to ask questions and interact with everyone in great!
