  • It would be awesome and lucky and win the Christmas Vellum Layers. My first meeting with vellum was in the Botanical Card Toppers kit. I promptly used all of it to make the most gorgeous cards! It adds such an elegant touch to just about any project, either as a panel or die cut into flowers and foliage.   • Hi Anna, I would love to win Win-it-Wednesday. I have used up my velium so that is something I can see everyone wanting. I sent you a card for Christmas using the velium out of the Botanical Card kit a few years ago, but using it on one of the cards from my big box kit the year the velium kit came out. I remember you laughing about it and saying more to come. Well to say the least, I bought the velium kit when it came out and used the whole kit.

    I have used the decorated holiday sentiments with the acetate cards that I gave out one year. I did use them up in other cards so they are pretty in a normal card.

    I have made the Birthday Shadow Box cards and had fun taking them all apart and putting them all together. I would love the Christmas version. I like that they fold flat so no bulky envelopes are needed.

    If I can have a choice of which one not to get, I would say I don’t need anymore holiday inserts. I have a ton from buying several different boxes of them over the years. I like variety so I now have that. I am still making this year’s Christmas cards. I know, they should have gone out the day after Thanksgiving. To be honest, I sort of missed Thanksgiving this year so I will get my cards out soon.

    I made a card with one of the paperdoll sets that had the woman’s hand on a snowglobe version of Santa’s head and am sending it to my sister-in-law. I think she will get a kick out of it. I bought two of the Christmas boxes this year, not the first time I have done that. I have been making cards every night, even if it is only one or two in an evening. I want them all to look different from each other.

    Everyone, so much of Anna’s stuff mixes and matches and it does so over many years. You can’t go wrong with almost anything Anna. Thank you for everything Anna. It’s been a pleasure crafting with supplies you and your company makes and sells for many, many years.

  • It has been a while since I was able to get on line. I love all these items for this Win It Wednesday, but what I do want to say is this.
    When Hurricane Ian demolished not only my home, but all of my memories and crafting supplies, I was devastated. I want to thank the ladies who donated to the group known as Samaritan’s Purse because they were the only organization that helped me get what was left of my home out to the curb for the trucks to come and haul it away. I am still homeless, minimal help from FEMA to help with this recovery, no clothing, clearly no crafting supplies, but I am safe for now living at a friend’s home. Originally I was rescued by a family in Lehigh Acres but now am closer to ‘ground zero’ by the gracious ness of another friend who opened up her home to me, my dog Greta and my kitty cat, Spats here in North Fort Myers. I have three more weeks here, before I have to find another spot to rest my head and my animals. For now I do have access to the Internet and AG, but that could change in an instant. I wish I could participate beyond this note, but I do want to thank those who did donate to Samaritan’s purse. Thank you. Pray for us here in SW Florida…we are no farther along in recovery than we were 2 months ago as individual homeowners. Peace. Kathy O.

      • Thank you so much Sharon for your kind offer to help me recover from this devastating storm. I don’t know how to PM you since I do not use Facebook or any of those programs. I only have E-mail. I am grateful to you for acknowledging my situation, and while I would love to accept your offer, I am unable to have much since I am moving from friend’s to friend’s homes and I can only keep so much with me. I am living out of shopping bags right now and have minimal clothing. I also have to keep supplies for my dog and cat, my kitty’s cat carrier which is really a dog carrier for a dog 25 lbs or more (yep my cat is 25 lbs.) and my dog’s bed and minimal toys. I carry a small Publix grocery bag with my toothbrush and toothpaste and precious little else. I have my laptop which is sometimes on again off again since it did sustain some damage during our evacuation. What I am hoping for is a FEMA trailer (which appears to not be available in Florida as of yet) so I can try to have a sense of some normalcy.
        I don’t know if Anna and her staff can send you my e-mail address so we can communicate more specifically, but just the fact that you reached out to me means the world to me. Thank you again and I hope we can chat via e-mail even if it is only to say Hello.
