  • I rarely comment on Win It Wednesday because I have so many Anna Griffin products purchased on annagriffin.com, HSN, and “those” sites. This week’s Win It Wednesday goodies required that I comment because there is one, the Christmas Pocket Dies, I would really love to win.

    I wish these products were available for sale on annagriffin.com or HSN. As someone who is not just a user but has become a collector, I’ve been very busy buying every 2018 and older Anna Griffin die set that I can find—often at totally ridiculous prices. In fact, I recently purchased the Christmas Decorative Edge Die Set, Christmas Embellishment Die Set, and Christmas Folders and Dies/2014 among others. I’ve actually been watching 2018 and older HSN YouTube videos and adding to my Anna Griffin Wishlist. Christmas Pockets would be an outstanding addition to some of my Christmas cards this year and when not in use, the dies could keep the Pretty Pocket Dies/2017 delivered from one of “those” sites Nov 16th—yes, a Win It Wednesday—company. Whether or not my name is selected, this has been another winning year for me and my love of Anna Griffin products, and I’m already anxious for what 2023 will bring.

  • I have been waiting for the Christmas Pocket dies since I missed out on them. When I am able to get to the Finishing School live I am always asking if they will be offered again. When they occasionally pop-up on Ebay they been sold separately or as a set but have been way out of my price range so I would love to finally get a complete set. I have only seen the Christmas embellishment dies on cards made by others and posted, so that would also be very nice to own. I was fortunate to have found the border dies for sell and love those-learned a new use for them at CREATE 8 this month.

  • Woo Hoo! I have been hoping to see the Christmas Pocket Dies resurface again! I have both of the other sets and they make absolutely gorgeous cards. However, the pocket dies were a little bit before my AG Time began. Am I the only one to gauge time by my introduction to everything Anna? I doubt it. It has become the highlight of every occasion for family and friends to gather around just to see the beautiful new card made from Anna’s bounty!     Because of my husband’s hospital bills, I didn’t even tell him Create 8 was coming. I messed up and mentioned it when you were giving away 8 tickets. I know that made him feel bad that I didn’t mention it to him before. I didn’t win a ticket but I won something even better. I won a report that after everything he went though for so many months, he is still being listed as cancer free. They won’t say it offically until after 5 years but we are breathing a sigh of relief. It was this week a year ago that we found out he had cancer.

    Like I said when I hoped to win any of the Create 8 tickets, I am happy for all those that did win a ticket, and I hope they, as well as everyone attending, including you Anna, had a blast. No hard feelings coming from me at all. I think it is so great that so many bought tickets to be given out on Win-it-Wednesday. That was such a beautiful thing for you all to do.

    More importantly, how about counting how many of the unclaimed prizes there are and having a give-away for that number of people. Maybe it’s my age (getting crotchety), but after a while (weeks, months) shouldn’t have to beg people to receive a gift, especially when it would brighten other people’s day. And no, I’m not doing this to get another shot at one of those prizes. I just think other people would better appreciate the opportunity, and the people who have not claimed a prize need to be gracious and contact Anna’s staff and let them know they’re no longer interested.     Today is my birthday, but I actually do not need any of the lovely items you have for today! I already have them all.

    I think the Christmas embellishments came out in 2017 and we used them for Create 3.

    It was a great class!

    I would encourage anyone who doesn’t have these dies to get them if they don’t win!!!

  • Once Thanksgiving is behind me I am having my sisters over for our first weekend of card making. I would like to have available as many different dies as possible and love the Christmas Embellishment Dies; I have the other dies but not seen those embellishment ones and I still have my Cuttlebug to use, too, for another cutting & embossing machine. So excited to start a new tradition with family and hope we get some work done.

  • Just received a couple of Anna Griffin Dies from HSN order from the October craft show…sometimes the mail runs a bit late…They are wonderful…The pocket dies are large and can hold gift cards, prayer cards, small notes, and even CASH! : ) I also received the smaller set of the Handsome die set to go with the Handsome Study Die set that I all ready have and have used several times.

    I would love to have the embellishment set that you have shown from the “early days” I think that they would be fun to work with. Anna Griffin Dies are very sturdy and of very good quality. I have never been disappointed. It is more fun to work with Quality as the finished product is something to be proudly given.

    Christmas bells, holly and churches are my theme when I decorate for Christmas. These dies will find a way in my decorating. I’m thinking of cutting the bells out in gold and putting them in my garland in the house and the wreath and holly will be use for tags and the present with ornaments may also be used at tags. Still planning it all out.

I still use my cuttlebug to this day, (its my go to machine). Right now I am working on Christmas cards that friends asked me to make for them and then I have about 40 of my own to make. These dies would be perfect for when I make cards next year for the friend who I am making a year of cards for her sons foundation. This year I only had six weeks to make some and I made 40, surprisingly my cards made $100 for the event, and none of them were the same. These dies would be perfect and make an impression!!🎄⛄❄

    • The pocket dies are my favorite too. I make other things with pocket dies. I make card holder for my driver’s license or most used credit cards. Add a flap on the top so nothing will fall out. When my daughter does errands for me I put only the cards she needs in one. Because they are pretty holders she can easily find them in her purse 🙂 . A person can use any paper they want to make every days use pretty card holders. Any of the gift giveaways would be dearly appreciated by me. I’m a paper collector of pretty things. Anna’s crafts today are what I call modern ephemera. I have antique ephemera as well. Diifferent types of papers as well. Like the older onion skin office paper.
      If the person who won the Create 8 box doesn’t show-up I would be overjoyed it’s so beautiful. The truth is the beauty is in the making! And such a joy to look at when a product is completed. Most of all it lifts my spirits. I am wheelchair bound, This is one of the few I enjoy in life. Clara
