We find dies, embossing folders, paper and more that we know you will love, and add them to our weekly giveaways!     One of our favorite stories is of The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. We daydream of summer tea parties with papercrafts featuring designs reminiscent of young Sara Crewe’s “beloved India.”

    We love the paisley-like patterns and motifs of the Bohemian Cut and Emboss Dies and are especially partial to the elephant, because we inherited from my Mama a hand-carved sideboard from Guam which features elephants, and that in turn reminds me of a similarly crafted chest that always intrigued me whenever we visited our “Grandma” Little–from whom I first received Frances Hodgson Burnett’s book!

    Since you’re clearing out the warehouse and not reissuing this set, would you please consider sending a Bohemian Cut and Emboss Die Set this way? (I think I had discovered your papercrafting products only after these dies had been retired.)

I had to get over my fear of cutting directly into the magnetic mat, but once I discovered how sturdy and strongly magnetic the mat is, I love it.

  • I love cutting dies. My Express and my Anna Griffin collection of dies has made my life so much easier. I use them for making cards and in scrapbooking. For me, they are much easier than me pulling out my circuit cutting machine.
    Oddly, I do not own the Give-Away dies. I thought, I owned every die Anna Griffin sells/sold.

    Just came home from planting flowers for memorial day weekend! My dad was a veteran and so were many of my uncles whom have all passed away.

In addition to the couple of hundred Anna Griffin products that I have bought on HSN or Anna’s website since I discovered Anna in late 2018 (Engraved Botanica was my first purchase), I have been buying up new and used Anna Griffin dies and embossing folders that are out of production at sometimes ridiculous prices. If a die set was made by Anna Griffin Inc, I want it! I have the French Frame Dies but would love to add the Bohemian Cut and Emboss Dies or Shaker Window Card Dies to my collection. One of the Bohemian dies would be perfect for making personalized sentiments. People seem to get such a kick out of seeing their names in print on the front of cards.

    • Well Anna, it’s now nearly 8 hours since my original post on this Win it Wednesday, there were 487 posts when I started this addition, this is only Wednesday evening, and one thing is very obvious. Although I didn’t actually count, a scan indicates that you are going to have a lot of heartbroken Griffinites if you don’t bring back the Bohemian Cut and Emboss Dies. I saw some comments that like me, the posters were only doing kits back then or for some reason missed the set. One person tried to find them but couldn’t, something I can relate to as I’m having that problem with the Christmas Botanical Dies from 2016. On behalf of all who don’t win a set but would love to add the Bohemian Cut and Emboss Dies to their craft rooms, please bring them back! Thanks.

  • Oh, I definitely need the French Fan Die Set! I recently purchased the Sewing Cut & Emboss Folders but quickly realized that most of the beautiful cards had a skirt on the dress form made from the fan dies. I look at that set of cut & emboss folders numerous times a day and every time I think, “ I need to get those fan dies to make a sewing card to thank my mother for teaching me to see at the age of 11 or so.” Learning to sew (& other crafts) played such an important role in my life. My first college degree was in Fashion Merchandising/Retail, so I had so many sewing courses through high school in college. And, EVERY class I always finished my project first & then the professors would just have me go around & help teach the other students. That was all bc my mother gave me this gift of her time & knowledge. #winitwednesday
