    I would love to win any of your card kits. They are all amazing.
    I really need to make bunches of thank you cards for all of the generous people who have donated their time and/or materials to help me fix up a house. My vision is declining and the house will allow me to live close to family and friends. I am 53 years old and this will be my first home. (I have always rented an apartment.) I am so excited to have a home of my own and to be close to friends and family. I am truly blessed. If I win, I would use the card kit towards the many thank you cards that I need to make.   • Card making kits are the most convenient for because I get to play with my two year old granddaughter 30 hours a week. I can have a kit on the kitchen island while watching her. As I am chasing her around the island (usually I am pushing a doll stroller around the island) i can pick out a card base, next time around pick out a topper, then flowers on next round, and then sentiment! At end of day, card is complete!

I just flip the lid over & use it as my work surface. I snap any tools, ie scissors, Cricut tweezers onto a lanyard I wear around my neck, so everything is handy and I’m off to the races.   • Over the pandemic my wife showed me her cards that she created using your kits. I was amazed and soon found myself make a card. It was fun and easy, once she broke down the steps for me.     Okay – I just have to say it! I have either gone completely nuts or maybe I went nuts a little while ago and am just now realizing it!
    I am lucky enough to have a spare bedroom that has become my craft room. It is FULL of everything I could possibly want as far as making cards and scrapbooking. I use it all – I make all my cards that get sent to family, grandchildren, friends, etc. But I’m always getting more. I’ve attended the last two Create events and bought more things after both of those weekends. I watch the craft days on HSN to get inspired and to see what new things are out there. I told myself this week that i didn’t need more kits or supplies and was only going to watch. BUT – I have 7 things coming in the mail after this week’s craft day. And I get your Win It Wednesday blog and go nuts all over again for the things you show us on the blog.
    I’m a great rationalizer – I tell myself that it’s all good because I do make so many cards and use the things that I purchase. I have grandkids that are away to college, and I love making them cards every week because they are so appreciative to get something beautiful in the mail and they call or text me after each card they get. I even had to make a keepsake-box for one of them because they let me know that they keep every card and she them to all their friends and needed something to store their precious cards in. Which of course makes me so happy and so now I’m trying to make a different type of special card each week, so they continue to be awestruck by the cards they receive.
    I have so many wonderful Anna Griffin kits, papers, and embellishments. Is it nuts to want even more and get excited for Win It Wednesdays for the chance to add something to my crazy craft room???? I saw so many things on HSN that i had to have – the pocket dies, the Salon Nouv. kit, etc. I guess because of the cards I’m sending to the grandkids every week I’m trying to outdo MYSELF every week to send something new and different. 🙂
    Now I just need more time for crafting. It’s pretty cold here in Minnesota these days and it’s supposed to snow again this weekend. Am planning on some taking some vacation from my job too. I’m dreaming about hunkering in my craft room with my Empress, Anna dies and papers and focusing only on my craft madness over the next few days. And anxiously waiting for all of my HSN purchases this week to reach my door. AND will be watching for more inspiration on the blog and Facebook…. AND explaining to my husband again as to why I have to stay home and spend more time in my craft room. 🙂

Every time I do a card, I think of the person that who will be receiving it..What are their favorite color, do they like birds, flowers, etc, and always with love in my heart. I am often asked, and almost all the time, how do you come up with the designs? Easy, I say.. and I tell them about you, and how they can be creative too. This passed Christmas, I was told how many are keeping my card for a keepsake, and how they will be displaying it every Christmas. I was so touched. When these kits sold out, I could use my die sets and my stash of papers to continue making what the kits had taught me. I encourage using the dies. There is a need to add top folding 5”x7” double sided card bases for some sets using the dies like the Christmas tree, but there is no die set for the wonderful Window Box or Presents Pop-up. Will you please consider making die sets and card bases for the Window Box? I was so happy to see the top folding card set for Valentine’s Day. Until then, good luck to all who hope to win.

    I would really like to win a card kit. The pop-up basket looks darling. In 2021… I won 2 boxes of AllAboutHim card making assortments and I made more than 60 cards….adding my own bases to be able to use up almost, almost every last embellishment and sentiment. I still have one hammer and some scored strips to decorate a few more cards. It was really fun to have all those masculine die cuts to work with. In 2021 I gave some of those cards to Veterans….the balance will be given in 2022.
    In 2022 we are making 36 quilts for Female Amputee Veterans and elderly Female Vets at the Milwaukee VA Hospital. 8 quilts are already finished and 10 more quilts are at the Quilting Lady’s house. 2 quilts with a cowboy featured in the middle will be given to #’s 6&7 of our 10 local Sheriff’s Deputies.
    Card kits are such fun to work with. The recipients will LOVE the finished cards.

  • Your generosity is outstanding! Of course, every week I keep trying and buying. Yesterday on HSN I went to buy some card kits and the ones I really wanted were sold out. So Sad. Your new slimline card kit on auto was one of them and the pop up basket card kit was another. I did manage to spend almost $200 on your great products and have plans to start right away making cards since due to the holidays and illness have not be able to get to my craft area. (The hot air balloon die was a fantastic purchase though.)

  • Hello Anna. I love the card making kits. I own a few of them. What I like the most about your kits is that everything that you need is in the box including the instructions with examples. Also, your kits save me time in the card making process. But, the highlight of your card making kits are the elegance of the cards. Every time that I give one of your cards, the person wants to know where I bought it. When I say that I made it using your kits, the person doesn’t believe me.

  • The meaning of your card kits: I had bought the Sympathy Card kit and made them all up as you suggested never knowing how depleted it would be so very soon. This last year was devastating to the village that surrounded me as a child. My Mothers best friend, Martha that hugged me every time I saw her well into my 40’s. Her children, my childhood friends were most deserving of my favorite cards. My Aunt Ruthie’s childhood best friend, Neddie who I thought was a relative for decades. She loved your cards and I hope the sympathy ones brought her family comfort. Brother Cartwright a deacon in my parent’s church that has lived in the same house since I was born. I have taken gifts, food, and cards to that door my whole life. My children’s friend Macy that was on the cusp of her 21st birthday was killed in a car accident. Her mother Cassie and I became friends when my daughter Faith and her son Trey had play dates. Your cards had to relay my sentiments to her along with the grandparents when I could not for the tears. My Dad’s friend Carl that the two of them took us kids camping. i rarely heard a childhood story of his that didn’t include them. My nieces and nephew’s grandmother passed away following my Aunt the week before Create 7. Your cards say what we often cannot when we are in the depths of sorrow with the recipients. That is just the sad instances and doesn’t begin to convey the joy that arises from the happier moments. It is sad to say that I can use any card kit including the Sympathy one. However, I think all ten of my Great Nieces and Nephews would love something for kids and happier occasions.

  • Well Ms. Anna I only have one avenue to comment for Win it Wednesday and it is this blog. So let me tell you how very much I could use one of your card kits. As I mentioned, I make cards for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, the Mr. Mo Project (Senior Dog Rescue organization) and other charities that accepts cards. Since I am on a very tight fixed income, I could surely use one of your card kits — complete or not — to help me bring some happiness to those who are pretty much all alone in this world. Many of those at the nursing facilities are completely alone — no more family to visit — no more surprises to be had except for a simple elegant greeting card from my Anna Griffin stash.     I’m just getting into the Slimline Cards. (Ordered the Carte Noir Kit, Ornate Dies and Fanciful Dies on HSN yesterday. You and your presentations were exquisite as always!) My friend has the Sending Sympathy cards and she just sent me a very special one. My sister passed away this Christmas Eve Eve (12/23/21). The card she sent expressed her heartfelt sympathy in such a beautiful way. I’m sitting here typing in tears just thinking about it. I’d love to be able to comfort others in their time of sorrow just as my friend’s card comforted me. Also…. it just so happens my birthday is this Saturday, January 22nd! I’ll be 72 years old. My sister was 78. Thank you so very very much Anna. I can’t even begin to imagine how many people you bring so much joy to, whether it be those who get to make the cards or those that receive them.   • Another year arrives and I’m still enjoying oapercrafting. I didn’t think there’d be much for me to order yesterday. Thought I’d just watch, pick up tips and ideas, and relax. Turned out there were some things that were pretty, useful and worth the cost esp. With break on s/h. Though lots of Victorian due to ST. VAL, many items, like stickers, can be used on cards with a modern, even abstract vibe, so thx for that, too.i missed out on matte foil paper offer, but hoping it will return. It would be lovely to win one of these as I am in the process of a very large move from the east coast to the west coast and ALL my belongings (including all craft supplies) are in storage and have been since last summer. It would be wonderful to make some cards from a kit since this move is taking much longer then anticipated and I do not have my Empress, or dies or embossing folders or even card stock.

  • This past Christmas season I made over 70 cards! Everyone on my Card List got a handmade cards–primarily using the beautiful Christmas Box. The responses from family and friends has been phenomenal! It brought me joy to give them joy–know what I mean??? I loved the inspirational anniversary programs on HSN–and the special pricing. I bought the Birthday Box and soon I will be filling my box of completed cards to have a special card ready for all this year’s birthdays.

  • I spent way too much yesterday on AG on HSN, but don’t regret a thing. Art Nouveau is a weakness of mine.

    I could use a sympathy card kit or get well card kits. It seems like there are never enough. I think I’m going to see if there are other Cherokees in KC who would like to get together to make cards for our elders who are isolated because of COVID. I bought your birthday box yesterday, so I probably have enough of those.

    I sure enjoyed your recent product releases on HSN. I make cards and give them away to various groups including the Basque Community in Idaho. After recently traveling to AZ for a family memorial I returned to find out there was a need to have as many of our Aiztan Artean (Women’s Basque Group) help to send out 60 Christmas Cards to the various Basque members that were 90 years old and more in our commuinity. I invited a few friends to help me handmake 60 cards for these special Seniors to let them know they were not forgotten. It was so much fun to go through all of my Anna Griffin card supplies to make sometahing special for them. We worked hard and got it done! I have also made and donated lots of cards to our Basque Sunshine Girl to send out those in need to the Basque Community. It is so fun to bless other groups, friends and family members in need or just to lift their spirits up. We have had quite a few family and friends that have lost various familly members recently and so glad to have been able to send out some beautiful Sympathy Cards to them. It is so fun to be Creative, Colorful and Compassionate to those in need or just to lift someone’s spirits with your special cards! I would enjoy winning one of your amazing Card Kits to continue this effort.

  • I would love to win a card kit. My daughter is an elementary school teacher, and she loves to give the kids little cards with positive messages in them. I’d love to be able to make cards to give her.

  • Sympathy cards are getting to be more a to do card due to my age group and state of the world. Would love to win the sympathy set just to get an handle on the cards I do have to make. Birthday cards are the easiest but sympathy cards can be the hardest.

  • As I have said before your card kits have kept me sane during this last year. I have the basket pop up one . I even made Janice an anniversary card with a beach theme and put seashells in the basket. I don’t have the rocking card kit . I have made the Christmas slimline so I would like to continue by receiving your sympathy one .
