It’s Craft Day! We are live on HSN right now! If you want to craft with us between shows, we have a great project for you! May 2nd was National Scrapbook Day and we are celebrating All-Month-Long! All of our Tutorial Tuesdays in May will be lovely, dimensional scrapbook pages. For today’s project, we are using our Paisley Papers, Favorite Flowers 2 and a few tools to create a paper ribbon corsage embellishment that will add a special touch for a Mother’s Day scrapbook page, or any of your favorite memories. If you would like this set of papers, you can get them on our website!

Cut 4, 5″ x 7″ pieces out of the dark blue paisley double sided card stock.
Cut 2 of those pieces down to 4.5″ and 6.5″ (this creates the turquoise layers)
Use double sided adhesive to adhere all 3 layers together.
Center the matted photos on the 12 x 12 light blue pattern card stock.
Place flowers on layout and adhere them on top and bottom right as shown. Use foam adhesive to get dimension.
Take 8 pink strips and curl them to make a loop using your bone folder.
- Adhere ends of each loop with foam tape. Alternate patterns so it looks like two different ribbons.
- You can add as many loops as you want to make your bows larger
For the top flowers use 3 of the loops on opposite sides of the embellishment. Cover the ends of the loops with a large flower sticker in the center.
Do the same for the bottom flowers but use only two loops of the same pattern and glue under the middle flower
Take the remaining pink strips and use your bone folder to curve them to look like ribbon in 2 different directions.
- Dove tail the ends of each pink strip.
Adhere two of these together with foam tape and then tuck under the ends of the flower bouquet also using foam tape.
Do this on both sides at the top and on one side for the bottom flower bouquet.
You can secure the ribbon tails with foam tape to your layout so they remain sturdy and won’t flatten
Add your title and your journaling tag.
