It’s time to get in gear to make holiday cards! One of our favorite die sets for this year’s cards is the Slimline Winter Gifts Dies! This die set cuts the shadow layer, stack of presents and individual presents you need to build your very own stack of gifts! You can use all of your favorite paper patterns and textures to make your own unique cards!
Today, we are showing you how to make a festive card that is perfect to send this season.
First, cut your stack of presents in several colors. We did our matte foil cardstock in green, red and gold!
Choose a pretty, patterned card base in Christmas colors. Cut your shadow layer in a solid of your choosing; we used the matte gold foil cardstock.
Next use foam adhesive to add the intricate presents onto your shadow layer.
Use the individual presents to add on top of your layer. We cut them in red and green matte foil cardstock!
Use foam adhesive to add your gifts on top of the layer.
Alternate colors for a pretty stack of holiday presents!
Fussy cut the bows off of the gold matte foil present layer that you cut. Add them on top of their match with foam adhesive.
Choose your favorite embellishments. We are using holly stickers with gold glitter from the 120 Favorite Holly Stickers.
Finish your card with your favorite holiday sentiment.
Now you can send holiday cheer to all of your near and dear!
Here are some additional ideas using the Slimline Winter Gifts Dies.
Use a variety of colors and use the shadow layer to make a shaped card!
Use your favorite patterned cardstock for the present stack, and pair it with a contrasting pattern card base.
Silver and gold are always a good idea! We love classic colors together!
Try adding glitter cardstock for unexpected texture! Santa makes an appearance on this card!
You can’t go wrong with this die set! It is so versatile, and makes Christmas cards fun. We hope that you enjoyed this tutorial using the Slimline Winter Gifts Dies.
