Hello friends,

We are only 8 days away from our incredible Create 8 event! Each year we work tirelessly to provide our amazing community of crafters with an event like no other. For the last few years, our event has gone virtual where crafters from all over the country can get together through the event and be a part of a gorgeous curriculum of crafting classes. We love getting up close and personal with Griffinites, teaching you how to make the most wonderful paper projects and so much more. We thought that it would be fitting to give away 8 spots to this year’s event in honor of it being our 8th spectacular event. It was so touching to see crafters share the event with other crafters over the past few weeks, and we want to thank them for being such generous pillars of our community. You are the definition of generosity, friendship and positivity!

    I was fortunate to be a “win it Wednesday” and received Spooky Slimline Matte Foil Cardstock. I have learned so much in a short amount of time and now my cards ..scrapbooking went from kindergarten to posh and beautiful. Thank you!

    Anna, thank you for everything you have done. Giving back to those that follow you is a wonderful thing to do. As we saw this year, your generosity has inspired many to give back as well. I hope Create 8 is the best ever and you enjoy it as much as those participating in it will. You are a wonderful teacher and sometimes have had to have tremendous patience. That all goes into teaching, not everyone learns alike as you have found out.

  • I guess Sara told you already, I cried when I saw your email. You have no idea how I appreciate your generosity. I’ve never been to and thrilled and blessed to have won a Create 8 ticket. I know many other members have hardships. I do as well, I had surgery a month ago and am paying off my share of the bill so I couldn’t afford a ticket even of flex-pay, Thank You again and I’m looking forward to this magnificent event.

    • Congrats! You will learn so very much. The best advice I’ve read all week is to just ENJOY! Don’t fret if you can’t keep up with the demos because you can replay and “rewind” the sessions after the weekend. Other words of wisdom are to take the dies off the sheets and do all the prep work. One last tidbit is to plan your meals and snacks. If you are responsible for family meals, pre make and freeze them or do crockpot meals. Put another family on kitchen clean up. You will need to relax a bit before the next session. I last suggestion is to pretest your connection to the website platform. Make sure it works before THE DAY. Have FUN.
