As you know, we have a big day of crafting ahead of us! We’re on HSN all day long and you can join us for our full Anna Griffin hours at 12pm, 4pm and 10pm! It is sure to be a fun day, chock full of the best every day and holiday crafts! Our Grateful Calligraphic Sentiment Dies https://annagriffin.com/product/grateful-sentiment-dies/ is just the set for expressing gratitude. You will love using them during the Thanksgiving season and anytime you need to say thank you.
While you watch us today on HSN, get out your Grateful Calligraphic Sentiment Dies and make these cards with us!
For our first project, let’s start by making a background with our Border Trim Cut and Emboss Folders: https://annagriffin.com/product/trimming-border-cut-emboss-folders/.
Cut a darker background with your circle die.
Then, use your favorite patterned paper with the calligraphic die. We used the green pattern from our Feather Cardstock: https://annagriffin.com/product/feather-cardstock-bundle/.
Surround your layered sentiment with a bow, flowers and even a beautiful butterfly.
Start the next card by creating dimensional layers with our Lovely Concentric Frame Dies: https://annagriffin.com/product/lovely-concentric-frame-dies/.
Cut your matte gold foil background layer and adhere with foam adhesive.
Cut the thank you diecut with matte gold foil and layer on top.
Create a corsage of flowers and leaves. Add to the top and the bottom of your card.
Finish your card with a bow, and sent to someone you need to thank!
For our third and final card, place your die in the middle of your cardstock without the shadow layer die.
Run through your Empress to cut.
Next, place your layer in an embossing folder to add incredible texture.
Add your newly embossed layer on top of a patterned card.
Select flowers and a bow to complete the your card.
Now, you have a lovely, textured card to send to friends and family.
Feast your eyes on these pretty cards, and let them be inspiration for your projects!
Patterned paper makes your sentiment extra special!
Emboss the background layer with any of our embossing folder.
Making one of these cards is so easy; you can even let the inside of the card be your background.
Mix patterns until your heart’s content!
A bold blue is the perfect way to say Happy Thanksgiving.
Don’t forget that our glitter cardstock will make your projects shine all year long!
Enjoy today’s shows and making these gorgeous cards! This tutorial will be available here on the blog for a week, and then moves into our extensive collection of how to videos in Finishing School. We will see you again next week!
