Floral Vellum Pattern Cards and Envelopes – Made Easy

Hi Griffinites,

We love showing you new ways to make incredible cards! Today, we are going to use 3 of our Floral Pattern Vellum Cards and Envelopes to make the most beautiful layered card. We paired these layers with the Diorama Dies to create an amazing 3D card! Get out your Floral Pattern Vellum Cards and Envelopes to make today’s project. If you don’t have them, you can get them on sale on our website this week here.

Let’s get started!

First we used one of the oval dies from our Compendium Card Dies to make an oval in the center of a layer.

To create a box, we used the Diorama Card Dies to make our box.

Choose another pattern from the Floral Vellum Cards and slice off the back.

Use double-sided adhesive to adhere to the inside of your box.

Add tear tape to the tabs, and fold to form  your box.

Place a layer with a smaller oval inside the box with foam adhesive.

Add tear tape to the outside edges of the box.

Place the first layer that you cut on top and press to adhere.

Use the Corner Cut and Emboss Folders to jazz up your edges.

Floral stickers and gold foil flourishes from our Celebrations Floral Stickers and the Birthday Celebrations Card Making Kit make such a gorgeous card!

Add your sentiment and a flutter of movement with a butterfly!

Now, you have a special card for a very special friend!

There is a pattern for everyone in this box of pretty vellum cards!

Try embossing and diecutting the different patterns.

Finding coordinating stickers makes your card extra elegant.

    I have been a fan for years. I recently splurged and bought the Empress machine. I love it.

  • Wow, I need these Floral Pattern Vellum Cards and envelopes. Yes, I do see these in a different way than I did initially Anna. Just that sweet little lilac floral paper alone is so appealing to me. Well, maybe my shopping list just got a bit longer…..and then there’s what’s going to be on AGTV as special offers as well. It might not be Christmas in July yet, but what about Christmas in April?! Love it all.

  • Anna they are beautiful. I see you used the small violets. (Johnny jump-ups). Please think about putting a violet collection out with these. I posted my cards with them and everyone loved them and asked in the comments where they could get them. I know you listen to your crafters so I figured I would put my two cents in. I’m a huge fan. Met you at the first crop in Atlanta. I miss the in person crops but love the ability to connect online and go at my own pace now too.

    • So totally agree!! Why Anna or her staff can’t place piece by piece so we know how they went together. These are not totorials at all. And Ann is just just so unprepared on the limited videos she does. She doesn’t even know where the gold center rings go! Like she has never seen them before. As the owner she should have a better grasp of her own products. She is like this on every “tutorial” she does. They should be done layer by layer so we understand the finished product.
