We’re excited to make a gorgeous floral gatefold card today! If you’ve never made a gatefold card before, you’ll soon see why they’re so loved! Our Floral Gatefold Dies create the front and the back of the card in one pass through your Empress machine. The set also includes all of the concentric layers you need to create a lovely card. If you don’t have these dies and want them, you can get them on our website: https://annagriffin.com/product/gatefold-floral-dies/.
Let’s make this card together!
Use a paper of your choice to cut out the card base.
Use a bone folder to warm up the bevelled edges.
Cut the layer dies using your favorite papers.
Add a 5 x 7 layer to the middle of the inside of your card.
Start to add the layers with double sided adhesive.
Add the oval layer.
Adhere the smallest layer to the inside of your card.
Add an embellishment and an off center sentiment.
Create a collage to complete the front of your card. Adhesive goes on 1 side of the collage. Tuck the other side in to the cut areas to close the card.
Here are several more cards to inspire you to create with this set!
