Ferris Wheel Easel Card Dies – Made Easy
Hi crafters,
The Ferris Wheel Easel Card Dies are the perfect set of dies for any celebration! From birthdays to anniversaries and any celebration throughout the year, you will find yourself reaching for the Ferris Wheel Easel Card Dies for a fun, interactive card. Today, we are going to show you how to create a ferris wheel with a moving center using a brad. Anyone who receives this card will be delighted at the way your cheerful card includes so many wonderful details. If you don’t have the Ferris Wheel Easel Dies, you can get them on sale on our website this week! You are going to love this whimsical set!
Let’s make this movable card together!
First, use the large, easel die to make the base of your card. We like to use double sided cardstock for this since you will see both sides. This pattern is from our Basket 12 x 12 Double-Sided Cardstock!
Warm up the score lines on your card base.
Next, add permanent adhesive to the tab on your folded card base.
Attach the shadow layer on top of your adhesive and press down.
We cut a couple of different colors with the smaller wheel die and added a brad.
The intricate ferris wheel diecut gets a hole in the center to allow you to attach the wheel and brad mechanism.
Push the wheel and brad through the intricate ferris wheel.
Then, fold down the prongs to secure.
Add foam adhesive to the back of your ferris wheel for added dimension.
Attach it to your easel card, and add your ferris wheel seat layer (ours is matte gold foil) with foam adhesive.
A floral wreath from the 120 Floral Wreath Stickers and celebrate sticker from the Celebration Chest Finishing School Craft Box finish your card in a beautiful way.
Cut a stopper in a color of your choice, and add to the bottom of the easel card.
Stickers from the 120 China Cabinet Floral Stickers decorate your ferris wheel base in a pretty way!
What occasions do you need to celebrate? This card is so much fun!
We know that the Ferris Wheel Easel Dies will be used to highlight all kinds of occasions. Here are a few more examples that we made with them.
Create ferris wheels in red, white and blue! Add a little swag for a patriotic card.
Floral ferris wheel birthday cards are oh so pretty in pink!
You can add any elements you please to your ferris wheel! Layered garlands are easily made with the Garland Cut and Emboss Folders.
Accent the seats of your ferris wheel by using a contrasting color on your card.
These ferris wheel easel cards are fun to make and receive! We know that you will enjoy customizing each card for any occasion all year long, and we can’t wait to see how you use this amazing die set. Be sure to post all of your projects with us on social media. We love to see your creativity at play! This tutorial will be available to you for one week before it moves to our archive of step by step how to’s in Finishing School. Finishing School is the place to be if you are looking for more instruction, community, live events and more! Next week, we will bring you a brand new project that we can create together.
Love,
Anna

I bought this Ferris Wheel Easel Die Cut. I had to buy it because it brought back memories of my childhood. During the 1950’s everyone in our small town looked forward to the Carnival coming to town in July. Now it’s rare to actually see a Ferris Wheel, however they do exist. My daughter and 4 granddaughters recently visited Colorado and experienced riding an indoor Ferris Wheel for the first time in their lives. It was such fun for them!
Your ideas are a wonderful combination of the past, present, and future.
I really love the Ferris Wheel Easel Card Dies . All the samples you showed us are beautiful.

I love all the layers of this Ferris Wheel Easel card. EASEL CARS DIE SUGGESTIONS: Bride & Groom, Masculine car, Thanksgiving cornucopia, Santa and his bag of toys wishing well, mailbox on post and a baby carriage.
This is one of the most beautiful cards that you have done ! I like the idea of using the brad in the center to make it rotate. Thank you Anna and team for another great die for us to make beautiful cards . God Bless ! Hester

Hello Anna & Team
Such a cute ferris wheel to send to your summer loving friends! This would also make a cute card for those who travel to State Fairs. Full disclosure: I mostly go to the fair in my home state for the corn dogs on a stick and the soft serve ice cream 🙂
Blessings
So glad I got this die and ready to make a card with it. It looks pretty easy the way you show it being done. Always look forward to the tutorials…they really help.
This ferris wheel is so sweet…creating it as an easel card is even sweeter. I can picture a collection of these for home decor in monthly themes/colors. tfs-stay well.
What cute Ferris Wheel cards! Thanks for sharing!
All of the Ferris Wheels are so adorable. I love being a member of Finishing School and I can go back and learn step by step how to make your creations.
Anna, thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent.
I have purchased this die but sad to say I have not used it yet. My plan is using it for a couple of photo scrapbooks I am doing for friends. I know it will be a great addition on a page and adding pictures of the family in the seats!!😃. Thanks for the tutorials!
Great demo of Ferris Wheel. Something about seeing the dies put together really helps me understand the paper directions better🥴 love all the samples shown. This die is on my must have list!
Carla
Absolutely beautiful!!
I love that this die/card has movable parts! What fun to make and really fun for the person receiving the card!
What a beautiful card!! Love my Ferris Wheel and cannot wait to craft with it. Anna your card designes are just getting better and better, if that’s even possible to say. Thank you Anna and extraordinary team members.
I have the Ferris Wheel die also. It makes a beautiful card
Love it!!
I love interactive cards. So pretty.
Dear Anna,
The ferris wheel cards are beautiful. One of my concerns is that people who are not in the card making hobby may not know how to stand up the cards or even that they do stand up. How about making some standard cards using the ferris wheel. Like we used to make 5X7 “in the good old days” for us. Thank you.
I coaxed my first date with the cutest guy to take a ride on a Ferris wheel. Didn’t know he was afraid of heights.. fortunately, he didn’t hold that against me, cause we’ve been married 63 years! Mir
Now that is “beautiful in the making”!!
This is such a fun and versatile die. I can see using the smaller dies on the Train easel wheels. Using it on a scrapbook page with the Carousel for a trip to the amusement park. And the Celebration dies match it perfectly too.
Your easel dies have become my favorite. Got a beautiful Birdhouse easel in the mail yesterday from my pen pal. I will be getting this one for Christmas as 2 of my sisters went together and bought me the things I wanted last Craft day. So it will definitely be a Crafting Christmas for me.
Thanks for another great tutorial.
Happy Crafting!!
Good afternoon Anna,
Great card and looks fun to make! I will have to add this to my wish list! Thank you for the tutorial you make it look so easy to create!
