Fan Mail Friday – May 26th, 2023
Hi friends,
Happy Friday to you! This Memorial Day weekend we want to remember and honor all of the brave men and women who have died in service to our freedom and country. We also want to thank all of our crafters and their families who serve and who have served. We love this quote by Beth Pennington and think that it’s a good one to share with you. “As we set today aside to honor and thank our veterans, let us be mindful that we should do this every day of the year and not just one.” What a great way to keep the memory of these brave heroes alive in our hearts throughout the year!

Karen and Lou sent this gorgeous card to say thank you for Crop at Home 3. Through the event, Karen was able to meet with Kim who lives down the road from her! Isn’t that fun? She is already looking forward to joining us for Create 9!

Edyne hopes that her adorable card inspires fellow crafters who have this die to pull it out and play with it again! Her lovely stained glass window was her granddaughter’s idea.
Kathy had a great time at Crop at Home 3 with her crafting buddies. She loves our virtual events and the friends that she has made at them.

Fantastic projects everyone loved them all. Everyone have a great weekend and lets keep mind and our hearts all our military families and their loves ones who gave their lives to keep our country safe and free.

I hope all the Griffinites have a fun weekend. On Monday I will pause and say a prayer for our Gold Star Families. They are the survivors of those who gave up their tomorrows so we could have our todays.

Beautiful cards but can anyone tell me what Anna calls the small plain stickers one can write a note on and attach to cards. Sometimes she attached them to backs of cards, like on her Shutter cards etc..

Love looking forward to Monday Product Previews. Thanks to all who shared their cards, just great work everyone! I liked how Sherry used something older. It’s fun to work on the latest products, Flower Shop is fantastic, but I like being reminded of older products, and challenging myself to perhaps use new skills with them. Anna, I always watch your post each day that you share with your followers. I learn from the samples that are shown. As Barbara Elwell mentioned Stephanie Johnson, I agree. I have a request. I would love to meet your staff on your blog. It would be nice to learn the face of the people that we talk to on the phone. I would also like to see some scrapbook pages that you have personally made for yourself. Perhaps some of your staff, your kitties or maybe your garden. How about it!

What lovely cards shared today. I love pansies so that slim card caught my attention. Are those pansies from a particular set?

They are from an old diecut set from years ago!
Have so much of Anna Griffin pieces. I would like to be able to get more of the “Dies” that fit the Mini Empress machine. I’m a senior and could not afford the larger Empress. I have some Dies but would like some others, Can you please let me know what would fir in the mini Empress? I would like to buy those.

Any die under 4.5” wide will fit on the Empress mini plates. If you purchase the new slimline plates for the mini, you can also use any of Anna’s slimline dies with it. She has some lovely slimline dies and the slimline plates are 13” long so you can fit a lot of regular dies on them. Best wishes and happy crafting!

I have one request it would really be nice if you could make a standup card of a motorcycle. You’ve got the old car the woody station wagon I’d really like to see a motorcycle.
