Fan Mail Friday- June 23rd, 2023
Hello Griffinites,
We can hardly believe that summer is officially here, as is the first Fan Mail Friday of the season. We hope that wherever you are that you have a few months of lovely weather, creative inspiration and some time for a little r & r! This week, we heard from some of our amazing crafters who reached out to send us a beautiful card, a heartfelt message and what feels like a hug across the miles. We appreciate all of your kind words and the way you share your creativity with us each and every week.
Look at these pretty projects that came into the office this week.
Our friend Marcey (who is in the AZ Griffin Gals) sent us the prettiest card! She wrote to tell us that she wanted to try out a technique whereΒ you stamp on top of the diecut layers, and we think that it’s just lovely. Thank you for teaching us something today!
Roxanne wrote to say thank you for inspiring her with our beautiful projects and superior products. How nice! She also said that because of us, her friends and family are closer than ever. That’s exactly what we love to hear!
We received the prettiest Fourth of July card from Robin in California. She has been doing some kitty sitting and crafting in and around San Francisco! Robin has purchased her ticket to Create 9 and is excited to attend once again. Happy 4th to you and your family!
Fan Mail Friday wouldn’t be the same without Anita! She took a slow day this week to do some mix and match crafting. Thank you for this beautiful card, friend!
Your cards and letters mean so much! We would love to catch up with you, and find out what is going on in your world. Mail us a card at our office, and we will share it here on the blog. Send it to 99 Armour Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30324 Attn: Fan Mail Friday. As always, we are looking forward to hearing from you and sharing your incredible projects with your fellow Griffinites.
Bye for now,
Anna

I love Marcey’s idea of stamping on top of the die cut pieces; what a great technique to try; thanks, Marcey!
Love Marcey’s idea! All the cards are beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Like the new cards.
I am inspired by these beautiful cards. I love the creativity!
Lovely!
Oh my gosh, I love those cards. I really like how Robin used the stars die from Halloween as a background for her 4th of July card. That is a great idea I have to dig through my Halloween dies. The teacup card with stamping is so pretty. I like the added texture the die cutting adds to the stamps. The Heirloom Lace is still one of my favorite dies & kits. Those cards always have such a delicate look.
Thank you for sharing. Always inspiration found here
All are so pretty!
All Card creations are great! Thanks for sharing. I really liked Marcey’s idea of stamping on top of the die cut layers. So cleaver. I love it. And I love Patriotic items and Robin’s Fourth of July card is beautiful and so perfect for this time of year. Great job everyone. Keep up the amazing crafting ideas. .
Very pretty.
Thanks for the craftspirations!
Everything is lovely. That is a great technique Marcy shared. I wonder if you could stamp it before you die cut it. Of course, if you die cut it first you would be able to place the stamp exactly where you wanted it on the die cut. Love it when the Griffinites share their ideas.
I just finished my 4th of July cards this week. I am ready for a refill of the Celebrations Chest embellishments. Or even a newer version of them. I was thinking a Fireworks cut and Emboss Folders set would be nice. Fireworks, and Shooting Stars. Similar to your Dresden.
I enjoy seeing the love being sent to you Anna. I hope you and your team have a Super Summer!!
Happy Crafting!
Love the technique Marcy used on the die cut. Will definitely try it.

It is hard to believe Fourth of July is just around the corner. I’d better get on it!
Such lovely cards this week. It is amazing how every week there is a little something special I can learn from these amazing crafters. I am on a little break now from crafting because caretaking is very time consuming and there will be renovations here soon. Can’t wait for the next AGTV! Happy weekend allπ

Love Fan Mail Fridays!!! Marcey what a GREAT idea!!! Roxanne the solid shadow layer just makes a perfect backdrop to show off your beautiful card. Robin the American Flag is FANTASTIC sanding the color papers to show the white core worked perfectly. Hope you don’t mind that is going on next year’s 4th of July cards. Like Anna reminded us ‘MAKE IT AND MAIL IT”. Anita what a lovely card to send to a friend.
