Happy Friday! We hope that you’ve had a wonderful week, and we are ending ours with amazing fan mail! We received so many beautiful cards and projects. We want to let you know that the fact that you take time out of your busy schedule to think of us means so much. We are sending hugs through this post!
Come see what your crafting friends have sent in this week!
Are you as wowed as we are? The things you come up with, the way you mix items new and old and the kind words you write are the best part of our week. Take a look at these projects up close!
Sara, you are so talented! We love seeing how everything you did came together in such a beautiful way!
Marcia, this card is simply blooming! We love how you combined these pretty flowers with our Lace and Basket Dies! So stunning!
You inspire me, Marie! You are so talented, and this card is absolutely wonderful!
It brings us so much joy to see you all make cards from our Tutorial Tuesday projects! This card brought a big smile to our face, Wawanna.
Elaine you are too kind to make another lovely card. You are kind to our readers to provide us with the measurements of how to make the gorgeous card that you sent us last week.
Start out with 8 1/2 inch card (length) card stock. Then cut the top with the die. You can cut the bottom to fit the jacket after you die cut the top.
Here is the card once folded.
Jacket Front Panel needs to be 5″ long and make your score line 1″ from the bottom (adhesive will go on the back of the scored section).
Cut out a shadow die panel for behind the diecut at the top of the jacket. It should be 6″ across.
Here you can see the gatefold, the card goes inside, then add the shadow diecut to the back of the jacket panel.
Here is the back of the jacket panel; you will add adhesive here!
Place the card inside the gatefold, and then adhere the jacket to the front of the card, securing the fold around the bottom of the card. Feel free to layer as much as you would like for added effect!
Here it is when we take out the card.
You can use any border die you like! See how Elaine made the pretty pink card too?
Thank you, thank you for sharing with us Elaine! You made Fan Mail Friday and Tutorial Tuesday come full circle!
Don’t forget that our HSN shows are right around the corner! There’s only a week and a half to go before May 7th, and we are counting the days! Have the best weekend, everyone! Next Friday is the first Friday of the month (May, can you believe it!?) and we want to see your crafting firsts! Send them into the office, and we will show them off on Fan Mail Friday.
