Hip, hip hooray it’s Ohio’s 220th Birthday! The Ohio Griffinites sent this sweet card along with a sweet treat. Thank you to Cathy, Beth, Carol, Lynn, Ellen, Carol, Pat, Loraine, Joyce, Pat, Donnajean, Tasha, Toni, Deanna and Sandi!

Roxanne sent a basketful of luck! Thank you for the just because card; it’s full of all things wonderful! We are glad that crafting has been such an outlet for you and has helped through difficult times. We are thinking of you and sending lots of hugs.

Stacey made the most beautiful card with the Simply Birthday Card Making Kit that she won on AGTV. She further embellished it with the Cardcentric Compendium Dies, and we agree they work together wonderfully.

This pretty thank you card from Lynn is so lovely! From the elegant edges to the beaded flowers, everything is gorgeous! Have fun on your anniversary trip.

We love getting thank you cards from our winners! Lori also won on AGTV, and sent us a pretty card made with the Carte Noire Rub Ons. She said that we help spread kindness to others; we are happy to help!

  • Anna Of all days my PC Mouse has quit working so I’m trying to learn the gizmo below, Then to top it off, we got 8-10″ of white stuff called snow ***** and oh so pretty. I had to laugh, my mom put a mini whiskey bottle when dad died and maybe a cigarette in his pocket many years ago. Loved all the cards, wished I had a buckeye now and I haven’t made them in years. My Dad passed over 10 years ago but you never really stop hurting. It’s enough to know we carry our loved ones in our hearts & memories.

  • It is so wonderful when something so simple as a buckeye brings back fond memories. I have made them myself, so good! What is not to like about PB and chocolate! My dad was not a flowery person, however, every time we would talk on the phone he would ask about the weather. When I would tell him it was snowing he would recite a poem he learned in grade school. When I delivered his eulogy I began by reciting that poem. One woman came up to me after with a tear in her eye and told me that back in the day her mother was one of his teachers and she took great joy in knowing that in his late 80s he still remembered it.

    • I don’t know how either. Plus, I am 72 years old and mildly handicapped. Everything requires a cell phone these days, but I am a widow living on Social Security only, and just don’t have room in my budget. If I got a cell instead of my land line, those tiny buttons are just too tiny to use my badly arthritic hands to type. Would love to be able to do the gorgeous techniques, but I will have to keep it simple for now. Thanks for keeping some simple things around for others like me!
