Diorama Card Dies – Made Easy
Hello friends,
We love sharing fun card tutorials with you each week, and today we are showing you how to use the incredible Diorama Card Dies to make an extra special card. We love to use these dies for celebratory cards for birthdays, anniversaries and so much more! If you were a part of our Create 8 event, you already have these spectacular dies! If you have been looking for a unique dieset to create with, you can get the Diorama Card Dies on sale on our website this week.
Let’s make a 3D card like no other.
First, we cut a piece of cardstock from Carte Noire with the box die.
Turn your paper over, and use double-sided adhesive to the outermost tabs. Make sure that all score lines are warmed up.
Roll the tabs in to form the sides of the box. Secure by pushing down on the adhesive. Tuck in the little tabs and then continue on the top and bottom sides.
Now, you have a perfect box! Create 2 of these for the card that we are making.
To create the conjoining piece, cut the tab off of another diecut.
Fold this piece in a valley, mountain fold.
You should have something that looks like a “w”.
Now, once you have applied double-sided adhesive to the middle piece, adhere to both of the diorama boxes to attach.
Here’s an up close photo of the connector.
Now, your boxes are connected and ready to decorate.
When you close your box, you can see how the boxes are bound together.
Next, use the double-sided adhesive to attach the decorative, gold borders to the outside of the box.
Decorate the insides of both boxes with the floral stickers from Carte Noire. Use foam adhesive for extra height.
Add gold foil leaves and flourishes throughout the bouquets to complete your gorgeous card. Ivory ribbon makes a pretty closure.
Now you have a beautiful birthday card to make someone’s day extra special!
Tie your bow and send the card on its way!
The scenes you can create are endless! Find scenes from your other card kits, and use dies from your craft room to embellish your cards.
Use your favorite icon dies, like the Tour Eiffel Dies to create a Parisian card.
We love making cards with the Diorama Card Dies, and we can’t wait to see your interpretations on social media. The Diorama Card Dies will make everything from gorgeous valentines to thank you cards and so much more! We hope that you are joining us today on HSN for our 13th “Anna”versary shows. Our remaining Anna Griffin Elegant Papercrafting shows are at 11am, 4pm and 10pm. You can watch live on HSN, or online here! Enjoy this tutorial for the next week, and access it and more by becoming an AG Member! We have so many tips, tricks and cards to create with you.
See you on TV!
Anna

Love this diorama card it is sensational. I want to buy it when I finish some of the items I still have. But it makes such a gorgeous presentation.
Wow these are magical.
I love this tutorial..very well explained. Question: you mentioned that the Diorama dies would be on sale on the website. I see one price of $57 which I think is the regular price. Did I miss this die set being on sale? Thank you to anyone who knows the answer.
The folding screen die is also in the sale section but not marked “sale.” Everything in the section is on sale but those two die sets. Just wondering if I am not looking in the right place or may have just missed the period of time it was on sale. Thanks again.
I love my Diarama dies. These designs are beautiful!
You make it look so easy. Thanks for the lesson.
Would like to orderthe Diorama Card dies.
Also the little house ,that you made the small things to go it
Wow!!!!Mir
I love the diarama card so much. I made the create 8 card with the pretty bird. I actually have it hanging in the hall because it’s so pretty. I plan to make more to give away but I couldn’t part with the first one. Not only do these cards bring people together but they are so beautiful they can be displayed on a mantle or framed on a wall.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful project. I have now found a reason to stop working on Christmas projects for next year! Each Charm School is as good as the last but always has something new to inspire and teach us. June, if you’re reading this in Flagstaff, I hope you’ve dug out safely from your record snowfall!
Best, Robert.
This project is my favorite class from Create 8. My second was the Birthday card class. Actually I enjoyed all the classes
Wow I’m so blown away with all this beautiful craftsmanship.
I am currently working on the Folding Slimline Screen Dies with the Carte Noir papers and embellishments and I must say that I am loving how it is coming out. But now this idea that you are showing using the Diorama Card Dies is going to be a must for me. If we have a chance to win this then I am keeping all of my limbs crossed. I have already spent so much money I really need to hold back, especially since I am retired now. I totally love the Carte Noir papers and will have to use it sparingly and wisely. Thank you again for a great New Year of fresh ideas to keep us creating! I enjoyed watching you on HSN yesterday. I had to volunteer at one of my favorite places here in So Cal, Descanso Gardens in La Canada. It is a places surrounded by magnificent flowers and trees. Yesterday volunteers and workers were going to plant 30,000 Tulips. Can you believe that!!! I LOVE FLOWERS and that is why love your products! I can never get enough flowers!!! THANKS!!!
Such a wonderful demonstration. Great close up photo of how to attach the seam. Thank you for that. Just LOVE the Carte Noir papers. They are so elegant.
I think it would make a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day card with a hidden leprechaun inside. Along with a pot of gold. Even a Valentine full of hugs and kisses. (Perhaps the edible kind)
Loved Craft Day!!!
Happy Crafting!!
Oh My! This is beautiful! Now I need a box to mail it in.
This is such a beautiful project, Anna. I was so deep into your incredible shows yesterday, I just now saw this little jewel box of Carte Noire perfection. I must make this. I expect a very large box to arrive soon from HSN with a treasure trove of your beautiful products. I should be blissfully happy as the last half of winter ebbs away. You have outdone yourself with all the beautiful sets of new projects. Annalise, Valentines, St. Pats, auto-ship wonders, and a new concept for journaling. Sensitive and caring Remembrance Kit. So stunning. And you and your team produce such lovely presentations. I watched every second, now recorded for reference. Thank you so very much. Stay well and safe.
Beautiful
I really enjoyed this project at create 8
I love these!! On my wish list!
I have been watching HSN all day. Anna you have raised the bar so high I don’t know how you can beat it. Your creative staff has out done themseIf again. I have spent all my Christmas money between HSN and your sale. Love everything!
Just fabulous . Loved the show on Hsn last night and can’t wait to receive the floral cart auto ship items. What a great idea to have the floral theme.
This card looks like something I should try.
I just made a St Valentine’s day Diorama card before I got this video, and while I struggled a bit creatively, it still turned out lovely. All these tutorials really glean at least one something new, and usually a whole lot of new tips. It’s so generous of Anna to share all her knowledge with us. I purchased the Auto ship flower cart craft box today, and was blown away by the classes we have access to by purchasing. Great day of AG crafting !
Absolutely gorgeous. I really like the 2 we made in create 8, but the Carte Noire paper is amazing and I love the fairytale story book. Thank you for sharing.

Love this! I made these for my older sister with her new grandchild. This made a wonderful gift as she was the last of the family brothers & sisters to have a grandchild.
Gorgeous!
Thank you for the tutorial, sounds like even I can do this! 😁
How beautiful! This would be a wonderful present to my granddaughter who is preteen, loves crafting and using my things while visiting. This would be a keepsake for her as she is growing into a beautiful young lady would be thrilled that her Grandma would make such a beautiful diorama for her. She keeps all the cards I have made for her.
It would also be perfect for her younger brother who too loves to come in use my craft papers and machines with dies. I think that this could be made into a beautiful card for my young man who I love so much.

Hello Anna,
I just l- o- v- e the diorama card dies. I know that you already know that your dies are
quality dies , However, I needed to say that the concept for the diorama card dies was genius. Through giving this card much joy was added to a 98 year old woman’s
birthday. Thanks to you and Happy Anniversary!
Cynthia
Absolutely beautiful! Your tools make it so easy! I can only imagine how much extra time and effort it would take to make such an incredible a card like this without your fabulous tools.
