We want to start by wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being a part of our community, for enriching our lives and the lives of so many others with your creativity and generosity. Today we are highlighting some incredible projects for Thanksgiving, Christmas and every day.
We hope that you are as inspired by your fellow crafters as we are!
Mary said, “Working on Snowflake Wonderland cards today. This one featured Anna’s gold glitter paper from my stash.”
Maripi shared via text that she, “made these incredible napkin holders!”
What beautiful, fall colors!
Karen shared, “My daughter’s 16th birthday was in October, 2 days after her sister’s wedding. We were determined not to let this become a “Sixteen Candles” birthday. So we selected her own special day for an English Tea celebration. And I offered to make her invitations to celebrate the occasion. It took two weeks, squeezing it in between normal life, but it was so worth it. Especially when I saw her face and she shared her friends comments. Thanks Anna for so many wonderful “tea” products that made them so special! Now, two weeks for a bunch of favor boxes, LOL!”
These are so special. Tell her Happy Sweet Sixteen from us!
Clare wrote, “I am calling this Angels All Around. I cut 4 angels from #AnnaGriffinCreate7 and glued them together. I added extra score lines on the sides to create dimension.”
Gay Lynn wants to wish everyone a “Happy Thanksgiving!”
Sally said, “Starting my Christmas cards this weekend. The Mini Snowglobe Stickers always add the perfect touch!”
Suravi shared, “I made the Thanksgiving cards and my son will finish it with words of gratitude for his teachers who helped him with his college admission process. Season of giving thanks and my favorite thing to do.”
His teachers will love them!
Jane said, “Happy Thanksgiving week to you!”
Charolette said, “Finally got around to make the Holiday House Easel card. Took me about an hour, but this was the first one. It took more time trying to decide how to decorate than putting it together. Anna gives you so many extras to use.”
We love to see what you are working on!
Heidi shared, “Priceless! Dad comes out from his nap to see what Heidi is doing. He says hmm why are all the flowers in the center? I said this is all I have with me so it kind of became the centerpiece of the card. I handed him the flowers and butterflies and birds and there ya have it. He gave them a flow. This is a keepsake photo 💕”
What sweet moments! Thank you for sharing, Heidi!
Lisa posted, “This card was made with one of the original jacket card dies that came with the 3-tiered cake using Fall Toile paper. I got 12 cards made slightly different scrounging through left over bits and pieces from several card kits for every leaf, gold flourish when ran out of gold leaves, sentiment sticker, and sentiment paper insert that might work. More proof all of Anna’s products from many different card and paper kits coordinate.”
Jane wrote, “Used the new concentric slimline dies added a few leaves and flourishes. These dies really made the card easy.”
Linda said, “My first easel card with the wonderful and playful sleigh easel die set – in silver matte foil and icy blue metallic. To get this look, I used Christmas Tree dies, Window Ledge, Doors dies and Fantastic Flip 2 die pieces. The embellishments were gathered from the Christmas Pop-up and Vintage Christmas Transfers. 😊❤️🌺”
Yolanda posted in Finishing School, “I had a fun and busy weekend creating MAGIC!!! These are anniversary cards for my team of seamstresses and designers whom I love working with. Here are a few to share. I love giving these cards so personal and specific to our craft. TYAG😍”
Darlene shared, “My first FS post. Finally finished these Thanksgiving cards. Anna says to consider the cards a gift. I personalized most of my cards which adds to extra time. I am not a fancy card maker but I spend lots of time with simple elements and color. As I make each card, I think about the recipient so I figure I just spent a day each with these three people!”
We are so glad to have you in Finishing School, Darlene!
We are grateful for you and the abundance of love you share with us today and everyday. May the spirit of Thanksgiving be with you throughout the upcoming holidays. We are most thankful for you!
