Craftspiration – November 3rd, 2022
Hello Griffinites,
Can you believe November is here? We have a busy month packed to the brim with crafting! Our next Finishing School Live on AGTV is November 9th, Create 8 is November 11th- 13th, our last HSN shows of the year are on November 15th, and our 2nd AGTV show is November 30th. We have so much fun planned for this month, and we hope that you will join in on the festivities. Now that we are officially in November, we are seeing holiday crafting ramp up. Today, you will see the everyday, Thanksgiving and Christmas cards that our crafters have been working on this past week. If you are looking for card making ideas or just a little inspiration, then you have come to the right place!
Michele said, “Working on birthday cards I need for the rest of the year. Really loved this shaped card made using the Carte Noire Papercrafting Kit.”

Tina wrote, “Finishing up my Christmas cards! I used the Fancy Foil Celebration Cardstock, 3D Baroque Frame Dies, 3D Rococo Dies and the Angel sticker set.”

Pam shared, “A Thanksgiving card I did for a friend. I didn’t really have much in the way of Thanksgiving materials to use but managed to come up with enough for a few cards.”
These are gorgeous Thanksgiving cards!

Sherry posted, “I made this Thanksgiving card using a card from the Vintage Halloween Kit and embellishments from Harvest Icon Cut and Emboss Folders.”

Benji said, “Started making some Thanksgiving cards, this one features Anna’s rub-ons, Calligraphic Dies, and Thankfulness Floral Stickers.”

Rebecca posted, “What fun the Canton Bleu Finishing School Box is!!! This was so inspiring that I used items from China cabinet, slimline embossing folders, favorite tea embellishments, foliage stickers. Actually just about anything will work with blue. Sentiments will be added when I send them out. Such a great weekend!”
We’re so glad that you are enjoying Carte Canton Bleu! Great cards!

Maria wrote, “I just love this kit. I have been a fan of the Blue and White Asian inspired decoration and use a lot of them in my home. This my favorite of the auto ships for this year. The only thing I changed was to cut second set of Jars. I cut the tops off and outlined them with a marker and layered them onto the Jars. Anna please make 12×12 paper kits and embellishments for scrapbook pages as well.”

Barbie shared, “Sharing some pocket scrapbook pages of my mom! Opposite page – Her 8th grade graduation. I love Anna’s scrapbook paper kits!”
Each of the pages that you have been working on is so special, Barbie.

Vanessa’s paper ornaments are so beautiful!
Be sure to share your finished tree!

Chrissie posted, “It makes my heart happy to see Anna working with older dies and materials. I’ve been doing the same this year, and I made this today during AGTV Live from Anna’s big Christmas Box 2022 plus: Cream vellum, Christmas Decorative Edge die, Holly Berry Bough embossing folder, Decorative Holly Dresden Bell Poinsettia & Sentiment from a Create box.”

Beth said, “I thought project 2 in the Canton Blue FS class would make a cute birthday card for my Sister-in-law Jenny. I did tweak it a bit by adding acetate to the window and making a different arrangement to the inside card. I hope Anna will be making a 12×12 paper kit featuring these beautiful papers and embellishments.”

Susan posted, “I’ve finally started working on my Christmas cards… I am an obsessive collector/saver (hoarder LOL 😊) of old cards with images I like and have piles of pages/ images torn from old books etc sitting around my craft room, saving them because 1) I love the images and 2) I can’t bear to part with them in case I need them for some future, as-of-yet, unknown project! I also have a big box of Christmas paper scraps so I wanted to come up with a way to re-use all this stuff!
Thank you for sharing with us, Susan!
Lourdes said, “When I saw Beth Turchi’s beautiful 3D pumpkins, I was inspired to make these pumpkins for my October charity luncheon centerpieces. The doilies were cut with my Cricut, and they are Anna Griffin’s designs. I had fresh dahlias and real mini pumpkins on the tables as well. I forgot to take a picture of the tables at the event. Everyone loved the Halloween centerpieces! Thank you, Anna and Beth!”
Lisa wrote, “I made this Birthday card for a friend who loves red. Used the Birdcage Die and Birds and Embellishments Die Cuts along with the China cabinet die as the doily-type base.”
Veronica shared her “first card with Carte Noel.”

Marie posted, “I loved the use of the border stickers for a card that Anna showed yesterday. So I did a try from memory for a birthday card I need.”
So glad you were inspired by our fall card, Marie!
We want to say a big thank you to all of the talented crafters who created and shared with us this week. Post your projects with us on our social media channels, so that we can share them with anyone who needs a little bit of inspiration for their crafting. We love seeing your beautiful work, about your projects and who they are going to!
Xoxo,

All just beautiful! Such creativity is really inspiring.
All beautiful and so creative. Thanks for sharing.
These cards, etc. we’re fabulous! I cannot fathom all the creativity out there among your followers, Anna! Just wonderful!
These posts are so much fun! Everyone is so talented. Love getting ideas for future projects.
Wow so many great creations and so many inspirations that I see and want to try out. Great job everyone.
Susan,
What a great card! Anna should teach this to all of us in finishing school. It looks to me that you used a double paper to pop the inside out. The pictures you love and do not want to part with just copy them in your computer and use the copies in your cards.
Surely need to win something from Anna..
❤️❤️❤️ Love all the thanksgiving cards. The Canton Bleu Finishing School Box cards are fabulous. I love all of them. The scrapbook pages are nice. The Christmas ornaments are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Greetings!
I am so looking forward to my very first Create! I retired pre-covid and had Create on my bucket list to attend, well that could not happen, but I continued to pursue paper crafting as my hobby. While I have been using Anna’s products since her days with Plaid, her style has always seemed to be a little different and appealing to me from other designers….I suppose it is her attraction to the vintage and old things which I really love! It’s the history of things and sentimental value that are priceless!
Really like seeing the creativity of others especially when I’m in a creative slump so keep it coming and thanks to You and your Team for all the hard work behind the scenes to make our crafting experience so pleasurable!
I just LOVED EVERYTHING!!! So much Creativity in the Anna Griffin world. It truly takes my breath away.
Barbie your scrapbook layout is gorgeous. The black and white photos remind me of my old family photographs. Something mysterious in those old black and white photos. Can’t quite put my finger on though.
Lisa thank you fot the idea of using the China Cabinet dies to make a doily. My pen pal Erica sent me a birdcage card. Now I can properly display it.
Anna you and you team are truly a gift to us. The beauty you bring to us almost every day is so appreciated. Thank you.
Now please ALL of you rest up a few days before the hustle and bustle of all the Crafting events begin. Because once it starts it will be BUCKLE UP BUTTERCUP!!!
SO EXCITED FOR IT ALL!!!
Happy Crafting!!
