Hello everyone,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! We hope that you are enjoying some much deserved time off celebrating with family and friends; giving thanks and being surrounded by gratitude. We are feeling extra inspired today because so many amazing crafts were made and shared with us on our social media channels! It was so much fun to see your Thanksgiving crafts, Christmas cards and more this week.
Come take a look at what your fellow crafters have created.
Loraine said, “The Birthday Festival Dies are great for Christmas too!”
Yes, they are; such a festive card!

Lorri wrote, “My first card with the Woodie Wagon dies.”

Deb posted, “Card I made for my in-laws in Florida.”

Pam shared, “Made this thank you card for a friend in FL who sent me a special gift this past week. Love this die set that we got in our Create 8 boxes this year.”

Dayle wrote, “Just finished my Thanksgiving page. Just waiting for a picture. Now going to start on my Christmas Tags from Create.”

Terry posted, “From Create 8, I paired up the Birthday Festival dies with a Gift Tag. Congrats to Anna & Team for another award-winning, amazing Create! From Penny’s poem to the bang-up Crafting USA finale, it was pure delight!”
Lovely card, Terry! The pocket addition is too cute.

Sandy posted, “Gatefold with poinsettia belly band.”

Tom said, “Finally starting Christmas and at the moment using only the Mega.”

Lori shared, “This may look like a belly band but it isn’t. It’s a slider lock. Holds the gatefold together.”

Mary posted, “Every year for the past 12 years, I have made a rosette turkey for our Friends-giving. The first one was intended to be a joke, but it turned into a thing and every year the new turkey gets “pardoned” and goes home with someone. This year’s turkey is Anna’s Paisley Collection and Gold Metallic. The rosettes are created with the Paper Tricks Pleated Ribbon embossing folder. The ruffles are a shadow layer from one of Anna’s sets. The back feathers are the Finely Feathered dies and the gold leaves and sentiment are from Terrific Titles and Seasonal Wishes. The leaf stickers are also from one of Anna’s collections. The body is the same old traced and hand-cut turkey I’ve used all these years. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!”
Wow, Mary! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous centerpiece.

Suzie wrote, “Busy making ornaments.”

Beth shared, “One last Birthday card before starting this year’s Christmas cards. I love this kit and Dies for the under 30 crowd.”
Susan wrote, “I like the double panel version because when pulled out of the envelope it presents like a traditional folded card but looks like a screen when displayed upright. I used Anna’s chinoiserie paper, AG cuttlebug chinoiserie embossing folder, 3D neoclassic dies, matte brown foil, matte gold foil, gold metallic paper, pale blue metallic paper, pale blue vellum.”
The embossed panels are a wonderful touch!

Karen said, “My second Thanksgiving card design And here is my card starring the cornucopia. Happy Thanksgiving Day to all!”

Roxanne posted, “I’ve been making lots of Christmas cards this weekend. These 3 are from the botanical slimline kit. I added some of the new instrument cut & emboss folders to make them a little different. I love the detail in these folders.”

Heidi wrote, “Here’s my First Christmas Card of the season. Anna has lit my fire. Thank you. I made 30 Thanksgiving cards to now my first Christmas card. Thinking out of the box and turned things upside down. Santa popping out from the fireplace.”

Sloan shared, “Diorama dies and bobbles! I had so much fun making this card! I love the diorama dies and the bobble dies are wonderful!”
We love these festive ornaments!

Jimmie said, “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! My favorite card!”
This is such a fun scene!

Mary shared, “I cut this with my Cricut and love the sparkle! Instead of using foam tape I cut 4 white layers of the rectangle with the candy cane and one by one the card, along with the red and green.”

Gina shared, “This was one of my favorite classes from Create 8. Anna must be a mind-reader because I have been wishing for panel screen dies for a long time. The base cardstock for this screen is from the basket collection. The first and third panels have different lattices cut twice and adhered back to back, one is the harlequin lattice and the other is from one of the very first die sets of Anna’s that I got. I used mirror image stickers on either side of the panels with the open lattices. I love the way you can see through the openings in each lattice. And yes I made the quilt that you can see in the background on the left.”

Leigh said, “Gift cards are now Christmas ornaments I took Anna’s Gift cards and made them into Christmas ornaments using her Christmas ornaments boxes well. I love this size too. My tree is going to be An Anna Griffin tree this year. All they need is the string.”
Great idea, Leigh!

Maripi wrote, “I used the Diorama die to make the 2 box cards and the Advent Calendar Dies and Toppers to decorate the inside.”

Dunia said, “Used the leftover papers to create a scrapbook page.”
Sharon said, “Wright Card for my 1st Grandchild! I’m meeting my baby granddaughter tomorrow and I’m so excited! This is the card I made for her!!”
Congratulations to you and your family, Sharon!

Wow there are some amazing things, I especially love the Turkey Center piece it is so clever and is gorgeous. I also love the Diorama card made into an advent calendar, and the Celestial Cards for birthdays is such a great way to use those dies. Also the Candy Cane card using the Cricut and using the 4 layers instead of foam is genius. Keep up the great work everyone you inspire me so much as I just started in September making items when I got my Empress machine. Happy Holidays everyone.
