Craftspiration- November 17th, 2022
Hello friends,
What a week it has been! Here at the office, we have been full steam ahead crafting with Create 8 and our last HSN Craft Day of the year. Now, it’s time to take a breather and see what you have been making this week. It’s fun to see those of you who joined us at Create and the projects you made. It’s easy to see that many of you have holiday crafting top of mind. There are lots of Thanksgiving and Christmas projects to share with you from all of your crafty friends!
Come see what our talented community has been up to!
Roxanne made what she called “Folding Screen Christmas Card #2.” So pretty!
Susan said, “Don’t laugh:) this is another Dollar Tree inspired project! I bought the little plastic cloche (I would prefer glass 🙂 but I thought I’d give it a try since you can’t beat the price!) and the little bag of dried moss at Dollar Tree last week with the idea to create a Christmas scene inside. I covered the black plastic cloche base with gold gilding wax and used Anna’s older Nativity cut and emboss dies to create the manger scene and added the oval with bow (Fresh Air impression die) die cut to create the backdrop. I filled in around the scene by glueing dried moss to the base and also attached some moss to the top of the manger. Alternatively, you could use any of Anna’s small Christmas ornament dies inside the cloche, adding snow instead of moss, to create a holiday scene and it would be fun to add in little fairy lights too!”
Veronica shared her card made with the Holiday Hearth Easel Card Dies.
Dayle wrote, “I finished these Thanksgiving cards just before Create. I love how all the different fall embellishments, papers, borders and dies come together.”
These are so wonderful, Dayle!
Debbie said, “I really enjoyed finishing my 2022 ornaments from Create 8.”
We’re so glad that you enjoyed the class, Debbie!
Mary shared, “I didn’t finish this page during Crop at home because of my segment with Anna. So this weekend while I couldn’t go to Create 8 I decided to make it an all Anna weekend and I am so happy I did! I made a Cricut file to do the scoring and hand cut the corners using the PDF. I love this technique! Title was made with Cricut and Cricut foil.”
This is the most beautiful page and photo, Mary. Wow!
Linda posted, “When me, Dayle Blecke, and Susan Urch met a couple of weeks ago, we posted a picture of us with the snow globe cards we made. Someone commented that they would like to see close-ups of our snow globe cards. Here are my 4 snow globe cards.”
Victoria wrote, “This is my first time sharing as I have not mustered enough courage in the past to post any of my work in this Community. But because I got some positive feedback on this project from the Griffinites CREATE group, I thought I’d try. I got inspired when I was prepping for Create 8. As soon as I saw the screen die, the idea clicked in my head. Hope you like it.”
What a wonderful idea! We need to make some of these too!
Adina wished everyone a “Happy Thanksgiving to all!”
Darlene Sophia Rose concentrating on her Momma’s birthday card.
Well this is just darling!
Madelyn posted, “Here’s mine from Create 8, decided on concentrating on just one during the live, and going back later to make the second.”
We can’t wait to see the other one too!
Vickie wrote, “Every time I see the Woody Wagon, Beach Boy songs flood my brain! So fun!”

Malinda wrote, “This was my favorite class!! Here are my outsides and insides. Made one into a Christmas present with a picture mounted inside.”

It never ceases to amaze me that there are so. Any talented people. Each card and project is unique and beautiful❣️
I don’t know which I enjoy more: Craftspiration or Fan Mail Friday. Such creativity!
Wow it is amazing to see the creations accomplished during Create 8. I really had a great experience and loved every second of it. I cannot wait for Crop at Home 3 to get here and then Create 9. Thank you Anna and Team for putting these events together for us. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Bought the folding screen die. Can’t wait to make a card when it arrives.
Wonderful projects!
I really loved Create 8, the fun, learning, the friendship, and the wonderful guests! I got most of the projects done or started. I became an AG Member and purchased the Create at Home 3 before we ended. I love all the beautiful projects and the crafters I have gotten to know along the way! Definitely beautiful in the making!
Such beautiful projects! I love the lantern for the Folding Screen…will have to try that too. Thank you for showcasing my Folding Screen for today’s Blog. Your vision allows us to make the most beautiful cards and projects and for that I am truly grateful.
Beautiful everyone, can’t wait to start using the DIORAMA DIES.
The cards are great ; as always, but the Special is Darlene Sophia Rose and how hard she is working those cute little fingers.. What a wonderful memory that will be in years to come!
wow. all of these projects are just beautiful, the photo of darlene sophia rose is adorable and reminds me of my crating time with my granddaughter. they’re so eager to try, so confident and it always surprising how well they do. i cherish those memories.
lovely projects ladies.
I love these projects. The new create 8 die sets are really classy! My favorites are the folding screen & diorama sets. The details on those feather dies are amazing.
I have a question:
Can you make a ship easel card at some point? I love the train & car easel cards. I recently bought some of your animal stickers & would love to make an ark😂
Susan, Love love the little dome. I have a collection of Victorian domes and this reminds me so much of the little valentine domes. It looks very authentic. You have inspired me! So much creativity with all the crafters!
Wonderful projects!
Such creative talent – thank you all for sharing!
Everything is beautiful!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Kara
Love the Craftspiration! As I am new to Anna Griffin, it would great to have the crafters write down what products they used so I could copy them. As they say, “ imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”!!
