Craftspiration – November 10th, 2022
Hello friends,
November just might be the craftiest month of the year! From Create 8 to crafting for the holidays, there is a whole lot of creativity going on. We love to see you getting your craft rooms organized, making batch embellishments, creating holiday decor and making the most beautiful paper projects. It is so much fun that we are starting to see your Christmas crafting popping up onto our social media channels. Be sure to share all of the wonderful things that you make with us; we love to show off your work!
Barbie said, “Getting ready for Create 8! I also spent the week organizing my die storage. I love the flip method. My die storage was bursting at the seams. So I bought more storage and doubled my storage. Now to clean up the rest of my craft desk!”
It looks like everything is in place!

Linda shared, “I made pumpkins. I am making stickers for Christmas cards. I made my first snow globe Christmas card and have been working on Snow Globe Easel cards with Dayle Blecke and Susan Urch.”
Gorgeous! We are so glad that you get together and craft with each other.

Adina wrote, “I cut an oval in the center of this card after I had put the first layer on it. But, I forgot to open the card before sending it through the Empress. I “patched” the hole on the inside of the card with a gold oval that were a little larger than the hole. That worked out perfectly to add the oval sentiment. I have some card backs that I have saved from other projects and glued it to the back of the card. The end result doesn’t look like an “oopsy”. It looks like I planned it that way.”
Beautiful work, Adina! There are no mistakes in crafting!

Lourdes said, “My name tag for Create 8. I’m almost done with Anna’s Prep Videos then I’ll be ready to go!”
The countdown is on!

Yvonne shared, “I have always considered the recipient of my Friendship Hand to be the Queen of Mixed Media so what better card could I create for her than this Castle Easel Card! The House Parts Dies made quick work of all the extra layering I included to make this card extra special! Of course Anna’s 3D Concentric Card Dies, Matte Foil Cardstock, Pink Shimmer Cardstock, Calligraphic 3D Embossing Folder, rose stickers, everyday sentiments, pink satin bow and mini square foam adhesive literally took this card to the next level!”

Jane posted, “I love the Concertina 5 x 7 base die, it’s my go-to. I crafted this Sympathy card for my mom-in-law; her older brother in the UK passed away. Tools and supplies used: 3D Concertina Concentric Dies, 3D Rococo Frame Dies, Fall Toile Cardstock – Stickers and Embellishments Set, Banner Day Sentiments Stamps and Dies, Perfect Palette II Christmas, dimensional flower stickers and bow by Anna Griffin.”

Susan said, “I was going for a vintage Christmas feel … It’s not the best lighting (dark) — but I edged all the greenery and the sentiment banner with gold gilding wax and there’s a sprinkling of snow colored German glass glitter on the leaves outside and inside on the tree and snow globe background.
Gorgeous work, Susan! Love this card!

Susan also shared, “I went to the Dollar Tree store today and they had these neat little 8.5″x 8.5” shadow boxes in the craft section. I thought it would make the perfect base for a Christmas shadow box to hang somewhere inside.

Leticia wrote, “This elegant lady is all dressed up for the Holiday Festivities. From her decorated window you can see a perfect, snowy white Christmas Scene. Merry Christmas! Products used: Holiday Paper Doll, Vignette Embellishments, Gothic Frame die, Holiday Scene die, Snowglobe Scene, Carte Noel Embellishments, Cartouche die & online basket, table, & wall picture.”
Now this is a festive scene!

Shirli said, “Toile is always my biggest challenge for pleasing compositions. Simple seems to be the best avenue.”
This gorgeous card is definitely pleasing! Wonderful work.

Roxanne wrote, “I’m finishing up the last of my Thanksgiving cards for the season.”

Barbara wrote, “As I eagerly await Create 8, I continue to use many of the dies and kits to make fun cards for dear friends and family.”
Annie posted, “I don’t normally send Thanksgiving cards but I already made Xmas cards in August so I have time to make a few Thanksgiving cards.”

Kaye shared, “I made this card using Anna’s Window Box Cardmaking Kit for my best friend from high school who just had a shoulder replacement and whose favorite color is purple. She’s had Rheumatoid Arthritis since grade school and is a cat lover. In fact, she just started a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program to help the stray cat population in our hometown. I admire her in so many ways. (It’s hard to see, but each side panel has cats from Anna’s Pet Cut & Emboss Folders.)”
This pretty card is sure to make her smile!
Mary said, “Thanks to @annagriffininc for the inspiration in Finishing School! I was able to make this beautiful page. Everything is Anna except the title which is Cricut. I used the Impression dies and the Layered Rose dies. And Anna, I remembered the journaling from some older Anna embellishments. Notice, I can’t throw away Anna’s metallic paper chads so I made a card too! I will post the card separately.”

Good morning love all the beautiful creations y’all have made. Thank you Anna and team for all your inspirations. 💜🤡❤️
Beautiful creations all. Really loving the Thanksgiving cards, Susan’s vintage Christmas card and shadowbox and Mary’s scrapbook page. So glad to see mor scrapbooking
These cards are all such wonderful inspiration for me. I’ve kind of gone crazy buying Anna Griffin dies since that first HSN purchase in October. Time seems to be flying by; it’s hard to keep track, but yes it was the first part of October. I jumped in with the Create 8 purchase right off the bat to get some instruction and maker’s tips. It was such fun! Now I’m an AG Member and excited to continue the learning and building skills via all the video teaching! I love all the color stories and how each card is unique. Even though the dies cut the same shape, it’s the colors, arrangements, intriguing twists on ideas that sets each apart.
All lovely!! So many talented crafters!
These are truly beyond incredible……🥰!
Such great ideas! Thanks
What fun to see every ones Beautiful work!
Thanks Anna and all,
Evadene
Beauty every where, everyone is such an inspiration. I love seeing what every one creates from the same products I purchased. And it is like going to an art gallery and being dazzled by Anna Griffin art. Tfs. Love everything.

Oh, how I wish I could attend Create 8 but Dr. & hospital bills decided differently. Will look for posts from it.

So proud to be in the “clique” of such talent. Love all of these creations.
All the cards are beautiful. I especially like the shadow box. All of them were so pretty and there are several more I want make. Love all of Anna’s dies.
Gorgeous one and all.
Wow! These cards (they are works of art) are incredible. I have to admit that the pumpkin just was fantastic. It’s 1:00 am and up due to a lot of pain and just looking at all the beautiful cards that people obviously put their heart and souls in made me feel better. I loved the pink castle also (for me). They are all great the Christmas ornaments the huge cards with the paper doll. Well, thanks so much for the eye candy and wishing that someday I can get that good. I make many cards but not like these.
Looking at them is so warming to the heart. God Bless.

Donna, I read your comment. So sorry you are in pain. I pray you will soon be better. I live with chronic pain every day so I know how bad it is. I started buying some dies and the empress machine and making cards when my pain is not so bad I will try to make cards. It’s a distraction from the pain. Good luck to you.
So very elegant cards Thanks for always sharing which inspire us in our own card projects..
How cute is the Castle Easel card? So VERY!!!
Thanks for sharing all the inspiring ideas Griffin-ites!
…and Blessing to all our Troops and Veterans!

Anna, thanks for sharing the beautiful projects. I especially love the Woodie.”
These cards are just Beautiful!!! Wonderful to see and have all of you share
with all of us!!! I only hope I can make some cards from your inspiration..
Thank you Anna for sharing…
So much wonderful Craftspiration today. Love how Barbie has put together her die storage. Inspiring to me because my die collection is getting harder to manage with binders. I have a room with those 45 degree ceilings like the slope of the stairs, and Barbie has a very clever solution to put her crafting center perfectly aligned to work with her space. I am stealing your ideas, Barbie! Thanks.

These are some very beautiful cards that are posted here! The imagination and designs are exquisite!!! I am just starting out as a beginner and enjoy seeing all that can be done with the proper tools. I do have a question though as I have been looking to purchase the set that includes the pink curtains for the window and I can’t find it anywhere. I bought Anna’s 3D Holiday Window Scene and would enjoy getting curtains for the window. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can find them? Thank you!
-
Hi!
The pink curtains are from the Vignette Card Embellishments, you can also use the Shutter Drapery Dies- Hope this helps😊-
Hello Colleen,
I was also looking for the embellishments. I did find a lady on E-Bay that was selling her kit and I purchased it. These embellishments came from a Create 6 Class. Our moderator for the IndiAnna Griffinites suggested finding something you like on Pinterest, resize it and fussy cut out. Just don’t use a licensed image or an image someone is selling without purchasing. I am sure their are other things that we should be aware of when using images off the Internet but these definitely come to mind. Hope it is ok to say that, if not please delete! I resized my image in Cricut Design Space and did a Print and Cut. Having a little trouble getting the right size but it is coming together! Welcome to Anna’s Group!-
A great idea…..thank you!!

Great card Roxanne!
Every card is beautiful, seeing Kaye’s beautiful boxcard brought back fond memories of when that was my favorite card to make. I still have a few box cards and after create 8, I plan to make a few more Birthday cards. I often make cards for family members to use for themselves to send to their family and friends. I also give to local charities. Everyone loves, ❤️ Anna’s cards.
