Craftspiration – March 3rd, 2022
Hi crafters,
Welcome to the first Craftspiration in March, and National Craft Month! We love highlighting your projects each week, and in honor of this special month, we hope that you will join us in our weekly craft challenges on our Facebook page. We are also giving away an Empress Machine on this week’s Win It Wednesday. Comment anywhere you see Win It Wednesday, and let us know what your favorite part of National Craft Month is to enter to win! This week, spring crafting is in full swing! Beautiful birthday cards, scrapbook pages, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter projects graced our social media channels.
Let’s take a look at your fellow crafters’ projects this week!
Tina called her project, “A Birthday Hello! I kept my card soft-looking using gold matte foil and cream cardstock. I love mixing dies, using flourishes, foilage stickers and beautiful white florals. I added a few little bees too!”

Shellie said, “Thank you for springtime refreshment cards with Spring Rub-Ons, Anna! Today, I’m enjoying making interactive ballerina for young niece with high aspirations of her own. I started with ivory layer, cut from Ballroom dies, and then papered over, using tear tape. The card is sturdy, but the ballerina glides nicely, and will be fun for smaller hands.”

Sally wrote, “I turned to Cricut Design Space for a push to get started on my daughter’s wedding scrapbook.”

Donna posted, “With a little bit of this and a little bit of that from many of Anna’s kits, dies and papers, I created one feminine and one masculine Carousel card. Everything Anna Griffin creates mixes and matches perfectly!”

Eve shared, “I’m starting on Easter cards this weekend. Using the 3D Concertina Dies and Easter Stickers. The chicks and giant egg sticker is so adorable.”
This is the perfect spring card!

Terry said, “I’m almost finished with the Carte Noire Craft Box. It may be time to order another box! I love the contrast on this card–the light lavender/white against the Carte Noire background. The Ornate Slimline Concentric Dies pair up nicely with Carte Noire.”

Elaine wrote, “Beautiful cards! They give me hope that Spring is just around the corner!
I made this card for a sweet little lady in my neighborhood.”

Melissa said, “Look out Faberge’, The Annabelles created “Paperege” eggs and a basket to carry them! And yes, we did put all our eggs in one basket. LOL We only used 3 dies: the napkin die from Doily Edge Dies to create the basket, Square Flip Dies to create the handle on the basket, and the hot air balloon die from Happy Christmas Ornament Dies. We shredded some text weight paper for the basket filler then bling’d the living daylights out of the eggs with pearls and rhinestones. There’s also a little pink doily on the bottom of the basket. We were very egg-cited to share this project with y’all!”
These are too cute!
Linda wrote, “Had to try the Clock Dies.”
Kaye said, “Finally finished–It’s been sitting in front of me for a few months! ha. The inside..”
Lourdes shared, “My Anniversary card for my wonderful husband of 46 years. I cut the Concertina die out of Anna’s beautiful gold patterned paper. The 3D Fancy French Dies and Anniversary Dies were cut with the royal blue from the Handsome Matte Foil Cardstock. He loved it!”
Happy Anniversary you two! Beautiful!
Dayle posted, “Rose collection scrapbook page. A big thank you to Kaye for her inspiration and examples I used in scrapping this page for my granddaughter’s dance recital.”
Kathy shared her “Salon Nouveau front of album. This is an album I created for my dad’s 86th birthday. Someone posted an album that folded in a similar fashion on Fan Mail Friday in the last month or so. I used Salon Nouveau Impression Dies and Salon Nouveau Dies and Salon Nouveau paper kit.”
Here’s a look at the inside of the album. There are so many memories to share and cherish!
Jane posted, “Such fun to revisit some older dies. Always in style!”
Pamela said, “I completely enjoyed making flowers this afternoon, my much needed therapy. I also enjoyed transforming the Celebration Card kit into other ways. Here is my Cross Dies, Flower Dies and mostly Celebration Card kit. ❤️ in one. I have a funeral this week and three family members to provide a card to. This I hope will provide some support.”
Dorothy wrote, “Love the Salon Nouveau Paper Kit. I have completed several projects.”
Adina shared, “I made two shaped cards using the Fanciful Slimline Concentric Dies to make an easel. I cut a pink base layer for the back of each card and embossed it. This serves two purposes. It strengthens the card. As well as, becoming the inside of the card. I glued the two completed cards at the very top. I used the Lace Edge Border Die and shadow layer to make the mechanism in the middle. It folds flat. I added some Shamrocks on the inside and wah-la! I had a new design that I really like. See more views in comments! Thanks for viewing my card!”
Kelly wrote, “I made a simple yet fun card for my nephew’s 20th birthday. He is at the in-between stage of appreciating a cute childlike card and a fancy layered adult card. I used a card base from the Holiday spinner card kit. The center happy birthday balloon is double sided with a green balloon on the other side, matching the two gifts. The inside sentiment is a gold happy birthday balloon. And of course there is a pocket on the back with a check! He was impressed.”
Renee posted, “I’ve been waiting to have an occasion to make a card with this die and I love how this came out. The hardest part was the small foam squares and the inlay pieces but so worth it!”
Peggy said, “Getting This time I got a head start on making cards for one of my favorite holidays.”
Great cards!
Mary posted, “This is my first card using the new Clock Dies. The card is inspired by one of Anna’s beautiful examples. I used the Flourish Impression Dies and flowers from the Hydrangea and Roses Sticker Collection for embellishments. The clock is cut from the gold matte foil and the clock face is cut from a piece of card stock from the China Cabinet papers and lavender matte foil. These dies are really fun to use and make lovely cards.”
Gorgeous card, Mary!
We hope to see all of your National Craft Month projects, posts and crafts all through March. Keep up the great week, and we will spotlight your paper projects next week!
Bye for now,
Anna

Such lovely cards and creativity from everyone. I have done scrapbook albums for my children and grandchildren so I like that Sally is stepping out to work on an album for her daughter. I did an album for my mother and what memories i can look at now she has passed. Thanks everyone and Anna for helping all of us create our memories.🌹
Terry has terrific taste! I’m convinced she’s my sister out there in AnnaWorld! Beautiful, tastefully appointed, divine card!

Hi Kathy! This is Terry Koehler. I’m not sure if you are talking about me, but if you are, thank you for your very kind comment. I am humbled. It is heartwarming to know I have a sister in AnnaWorld that has the same tastes as me! Blessings to you ❤️

Back in the early 70’s when my now ex came back from Vietnam, we wete in Colorado for a bit. there was a commercial on tv all the time with children that had song that sang…”Its nice to SHARE, truly, uly, uly is. Its nice to SHARE.” todays blog made that song pop in my head.

Anna Love all the creations throughout the year and especially during craft month! Just when you think you have seen everything crafters come up with new ideas, of course, with your assistance Anna. I value your creative design spirit and everyone’s unique designs. Win it Wednesdays are fun every month of the year!
So blown away but all of these. Great job!
How can I go to your HSN sale last March 1st. I saw your preview but I was unable to watch it because I was with my husband to see his two doctors appointment to two different places. I got tired that I forgot to watch it. Especially I also just finished my dialysis.
I love all the cards that you posted. Love it.
Such beautiful cards and paper projects. I’ll need to look this over a couple more times. I especially like Tina and Pamela’s “white-themed” card creations. I’d like an Anna Griffin product featuring flowers with varying shades of white for making monochromatic cards which incorporate gold die-cuts and other gold and especially white elements.
Absolutely inspirational 👏
My favorite part of craft month is seeing all the new products and viewing fellow crafters projects. Whether they are cards or scrapbook pages the diversity is amazing to see. Of course, win it Wednesday is fun every month.
Such beautiful creations shared today. Thank you one and all fir the inspiration.
Lovely cards and projects everyone. Makes me want to get busy and make some cards. Thanks for sharing.
National Craft Month, what a wonderful time to learn new inspiration.. with new dies. I was inspired by Anna many years ago and ordered my first kit. I’m in love with the “Old World” style and design of Anna’s designs. But I love , love the dies. I have the hand crank “gold and cream color … so Anna”. It has cranked out meant a beautiful design. I love when the card is so beautiful it is a gift! I am recovering from major abdominal surgery and found out quickly I can’t “ hand crank” anything. I’ll still be watching and enjoying it all. Hmm the Empress would be a great addition to my room and a Blessing while I recover. Have a beautiful and Blessed Crafting Month! 🙏🏼👩🏼🍳🇺🇸
I just can’t get enough green and gold. ♥️
It is so inspiring to see the creations everyone makes and share with us.. I appreciate and always enjoy seeing your beautiful cards… Thank you so much…
Anna thank you for making all of this possible…
I ordered your Birthday Cake Easel card from hsn yesterday. Can’t wait to get it and make one .. I love to watch all the beautiful things you bring there.. Now I am thinking I would like to try the Carousel
Anna,
It’s interesting that your lead note mentions Win It Wednesday ~ on a Thursday! My favorite part of National Craft Month is the increased number of times we see you on HSN and the more I get to learn from you! The examples you have for every show are truly wonderful and give me ideas and inspiration for my own creations. Thank you.
Thanks for the creative explanations, ideas and mix and match embellishments. All Anna’s stash go together so well. I am impressed!

Beautiful work shared for all. Live everything!
It never ceases to amaze me how unique and beautiful these cards are each week. There are so many talented people here in Anna’s group and should be proud to show off their creations.
Lovely great creativity.
I truly love all the cards. It amazes me the imagination they have and the talent to carry their ideas through to a beautiful piece of artwork.
Wow, what a display of the art of papercrafting! Spectacular creations everyone!
Great inspiration for me!!!!! Thank you, Anna and all contributors.
Beautiful cards light and joyous.
Beautiful examples that we can use for inspiration when you can’t make up your mind! Love reading your emails!
I love the creative ways that other crafters use the AG items! I save these blogs for ideas.
I especially loved the card with purple foil embellishment with the flowers including the Lillies of the Valley! Wish I had made that, but now that I have been inspired by the photo from another crafter, perhaps I will. Pamela
Thank you Anna for sharing all these spectacular creations!
Beautiful work!
Incredible creations!
I love all of the new season ideas and products that come out during National Craft Month. I would really love to win the Empress machine because my die cut machine is manual and does not cut out dies that are particularly wide. It would be a wonderful addition to my crafting. I would donate the die cutter I have now to inspire someone just starting. Have a wonderful week!
Such beautiful inspiration.
Lots of inspiration for newer and vintage dies.
Fabulous craft projects by fabulous peeps using fabulous Anna products.
I’m so inspired I am going to go make a Clock and a scrapbook page TODAY 🥰
Lovely Cards. So much creativity. Love to see the projects every week. I imagine its just the beginning of amazement as people step up their game for craft month!
Whew, beautiful cards and inspiration. Thank you ladies! I love how you use other dies to think outside the box, I am trying that on my Easter cards. I am going to post a St. Patrick’s Day card.
WOW! All the cards were gorgeous! Sally the page you created for your daughters wedding album is so beautiful! Dayle that page has so many lovely details! Melissa my jaw dropped when I saw those eggs and the basket you created! Kathy what a gorgeous album you created for your Dad’s Birthday. I am sure he will cherish it!
Would love to win something from the warehouse but already have the Empress machine so it wouldn’t be fair to win that when another Griffinite could really use it. I love making cards to send to my Mom, she says I’m so talented but we know it’s really Anna who is the talented one.
Beauty in the making, all!
Anna, thank you for choosing my card! It is truly an honor.
To be honest, how can anyone miss with your amazing dies, papers, and products of all kinds?
Your classes are informative and fun!

Such beautiful creative crafting examples this week!
Love, love, love the paper Easter egg decorations and the folded paper album. Your dies are the best! They add so much depth to any paper craft. Thank you Anna.
They are all very creative and beautiful
Absolutely love looking at all the creativity of others. Always inspiring. I have been using Anna Iffin for years and love the options
HSN was so great this week. While waiting for new goodies I’ve been using the good luck embossing folders to decorate all my March trees. Beautiful. And now I’m using the corner embossing folders I recently purchased to embellish cards. Love those. Would love to use all my Anna products on a new Empress machine. I would certainly put it to good use.
All, just beautiful! We need more beauty in the world today.
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I just love Thursday Craftspration. Y’all have given me so much inspiration and many ideas.
I am finishing up my St. Patrick’s Day cards.
I was able to get the Clock Die and the Basket Easel on Craft Day. Can’t wait to use the Basket for my Easter cards.
3D eaggs… great idea.
Thanks to those who posted their supply list. Very helpful.
Happy Crafting!!
Love all your products and have so many. I have a question. I’m 80 yrs. old and did save up to get the Mini Empress, which I love. I do have some of the dies, but many of the dies I would like are for the large Empress. What do you have for the mini? I have bought many of the products but can’t make some things due to the dies I can’t use in the Mini Empress. any suggestions on dies that I may not have? Please help me. I’m starting on my Easter cards. You always make wonderful products. I get most of the products through HSN. Thanks Anna for your inspiration, creativity and Beautiful cards that I make.
-
You need to only buy dies that are 4X6 or smaller. Anything bigger than that will not fit in the mini. Is the mini your only die cutting machine? I have the big Empress, but before I got it, I used my Big Shot. The Big Shot is a roller machine. I have had that machine for years, even before Anna even made dies! Keep in mind dies that require Anna’s large plates, will not fit in the Big Shot.
Hello Anna & Everyone
All of these creations were just what I needed today. The weather is cold and cloudy but there is sunshine from all the generous Griffinites! I enjoyed seeing the masculine cards and the cards featuring the Clock dies. Both sets of Clock and 3D Cross dies are on their way to my house 🙂 Yeah me!
Blessings
Beautiful to see..
Beautiful cards. Happy National Craft Month! You can’t miss with Anna Griffin products.
Absolutely stunning! Thank you for the inspiration!

Such gorgeous cards! They remind me of an old Valentine Card that I have from my husbands grandparents that are not living anymore. I think it goes back to early 1900’s. It’s a little torn but it is beautiful. Yours are gorgeous! I can’t wait to get started.
Lovely, lovely ❤️❤️❤️. So much inspiration. Thank you everyone.

All the projects are lovely! I am excited about the new clock die set.

Hi Anna!
Please pick me! I would love to have an Empress machine! I enjoyed watching you on Tuesday on HSN to kick off craft month! I bought a few items and it would be nice to have an Empress to use my new dies on!
Love these cards! The carousel is still my favorite. I have a carousel collection since I was in junior high. I can’t wait to try out the clock die. Thank you for the inspiration.
All so beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for sharing. Got lots of good ideas.
Wow.. an Empress machine would be a perfect addition to my craft room. It looks like something that would make cardmaking with arthritis much easier. Thank you for the lovely prize offer.

Such wonderfully talented crafters!
Anna, I love all your cards posted above. It would be an honor to win anything from you. I have most of your dies but an extra one would be a treat. Looking forward to March 29th Craft Day.
All these cards were so amazing and so beautiful. The color combinations were stunning. I’ll have to try making a card with the gold and darker blue metallic Cardstocks as that was over the top in my book. Such wonderful card and projects were seen in this Craftspiration blog. Thank you to all who contributed!
Love all the beautiful ideas and cards being made, so many masterpieces! National Craft Month just gives me a great excuse to load up on my crafting supplies🤣😂
Love those eggs! I will have to try those.
As always, these beautiful creations take my breath away!!!Mir
Lovely projects. Thank you for sharing.
Sally Fisher’s Wedding Page is perfect! I like that she used subdued colors, which lets the photo (the whole point of it, right) really stand out. And Kelly’s decision to emboss the red envelope liner was smart–made it look less Christmas-like and fits with the masculine look of the birthday card.
Great cards, as well as, ideas to make great cards.
Every project was just gorgeous! Thank you for the ideas.
What lovely creations!
National Craft Month encourages us to focus some extra time on our crafts. It also is a time to appreciate the work of fellow crafters and be energized with new ideas. A fun time!
Inspiration !!!!
TAKING ALL WEEKEND TO CREATE .
THANK YOU FOR THIS JOY
ANGELIA GRECH, CHARLESTON SC
I believe each of these projects used matte foil. I have to say it is one of my favorite things. I cannot wait to get the new clock dies. I love them!
Exquisite projects! Anna. Everyone is soooo talented. Love all of them, especially Dorothy’s Salon Nouveau explosion card. I have loved this kit for quite some time – may have to invest in it now. Shhh. … don’t tell my husband, lol.
Shout out to Pamela for the clean elegance of her card. Kathy, as a scrap book builder myself…I am stealing your template & layout for your folio book. Love it! Thanks to all who share & inspire!
Beautiful and inspirational creations. Everyone is so talented. Love to see the creations with new dies and card stock. Great job everyone.
All of these are beautiful and inspirational. Oerfect for national craft month!
