Craftspiration – March 31st, 2022
Hello friends,
We have had a crafting packed week, and we want to thank you for joining us for our shows on HSN this past Tuesday! It was a fun and crafty day, and it wouldn’t have been the same with all of our Griffinites cheering us on! Mark your calendars for our next appearances on HSN April 11th at 9pm! We are bringing you amazing new things to craft and create with! Today we are sharing some truly eggs-cellent projects from across our social media channels.
Come take a look at what are created this week!
Heidi said, “Oh wait yes I did too make a card silly me. For my friends daughter for her baby shower.”

Barbie said, “I am finally sharing my Junk Journal from Create 7. I finally got it done!! I think I have been working on it for 6-8 weeks in between the Christmas Card Challenge. As you can see, it is pretty thick. I didn’t know what to do with it at first. I am not a writer so I didn’t want it to be like a journal/diary. I didn’t want it to be a photo album. My intent was a combination of date planner and memories. It is for me and I am keeping this treasure FOREVER!!

Lourdes shared, “Challenge- I was challenged by the request from my nephew’s fiancé to make her the guest book for her wedding. She wanted a large book. I had never made a book or journal before, but then Anna came to my rescue with the junk journal from Create 7! After many math calculations and shopping around for “pretty “ long papers and heavy card stock for the cover, I was ready to begin! I extended the binding by cutting and connecting 2 binding dies together. I made pockets for “love notes” and “secrets”, and I left pages blank for the wedding guests to write their messages to the couple. I used Anna’s beautiful dies and papers to decorate the pages. It was a true labor of love, and I am so grateful for having this challenge given to me. My Zach and Galena loved the wedding book I made for them! Thank you, Anna, for rescuing me!”
This is perfect. So special!

Adina shared, “I love making these slimline easel cards! This one was really simple and painless. The 3D Easter Stickers did all of the heavy lifting for me. The Heirloom Lace Paper Kit whispered in the background. The Fanciful Slimline Dies shaped it for me. I just put it on cruise control and Anna did all the driving!”

Vivian said, “I WON the Salon Nouveau Paper Crafting Kit…YAH!!!! I just absolutely LOVE this entire Kit. First of all, this is one of my all time favorite Art Styles in the Art History world. I have already made so many cards and 2 Journals with this paper selection. One of the Journals I gave to a good friend for her birthday, who is also a Graphic designer like myself. This second one that I am posting, I made for myself…just because :)! Thank you Anna, I am having so much fun with it!”

Sandy shared, “First Easter card for my grandchildren.”

Shakuntala wrote, “Just experimenting with the castle die. Cut and paste to expand the castle.”

RICHARD said, “Nostalgic Easter cards easel concept let me know what you think see y’all on HSN tonight and tomorrow.”
Opulent and spectacular!

Catherine posted, “I went through my scraps and used any pieces large enough to fit the Layered Rose dies, and tried to get some contrast. I wanted to test these dies to 1) see if I liked them, and 2) try them out with scraps so as to not waste the petal and leaf cardstock. I used mostly patterned paper scraps, with a few bits of solid colors here and there. I had a very zen moment gluing the pieces together. Tweezers are your friend, and don’t sneeze because you will never find those little pieces.”

Dayle shared, “Such a lovely collection of papers. I used the salon nouveau dies, Anna’s border die and a die from the explosion box set for the corners. And the embellishments from the paper collection.”
Love this page!

Jimmie wrote, “Happy Easter Griffinites! I am loving this draw bridge card idea! My kind of Easter Bunny delivers Faberge Eggs!”
We love your amazing interpretation!

Carri shared, “I started making party favor explosion boxes for a charity tea event using the Tea Embellishments with the new Heirloom Lace papers. These are my new go to papers; they are so pretty.”
From the patterns to the embellishments, this is incredible Carri!

Debbie posted, “I just got the castle dies set this past week. Even though I have watched the videos with all the additional cuts, I decided to do my first one “plain”. I sanded the gold to give it a bit more dimension & trailed the flowers for some movement.”
What eggs-citing projects! Thanks for sharing everyone. Keep posting your projects with us, and we will show off your work for next week’s Craftspiration! Another thank you to everyone who made this year’s National Craft Month so special. We hope that you continue to embody generosity and kindness, and that all of our friendships continue to grow and deepen all year long!
Bye for now,
Anna

Hi, everything is so beautiful. Richard’s are quite spectacular and the box is beautiful.
Craftspiration is so beautiful today! It’s hard to pick a favorite, everything is lovely and very inspiring! ❤️
All were quite amazing! The basket easel card dies are getting used by a lot of cardmakers. I also am working on some easter treat boxes using the front of the basket dies filled with a bunny and eggs with some grass below them inside the basket. I love the design of the basket dies. I know I will use these dies all year long. It’s been my favorite this year along with the cross dies.
I’m awestruck with all the creativity!
Stunningly beautiful makes. My favorites are Mary Beth’s and Tammy’s.

Thank you, Debbi. If you are a member of Anna’s Finishing School, you can see the inside pages of the wedding book. I posted them all in her Community. Enjoy!
All the card designs are magnificent. You all have so much talent and I know they were a lot of fun to make. I just ordered Ana’s layered roses die and wait until 4/11th to receive it. I’m always trying to keep her beautiful flower stickers in stock. Now this will really help me out because I can’t afford to always buy them, and I now have plenty of scraps to make my own.
Ana I really want to thank you for all the lovely products you create and the inspiration you give us all. I love, love, love your products and just wish I could buy them all.
Continue to have that Craftspiration everyone!

Hello Anna,
Wow! Wow! These cards are amazing!! What talent! What inspiration! What gifts these people have been blessed with!!! These cards are some of the most amazing I’ve ever seen. I just keep going back and reviewing them and reviewing them. And I am going to share these with my friends who are not into crafting yet to show them what they are missing out on. These cards are incredible! Thank you for sharing, Anna. And thank you for making it possible for everyone to develop the special talents they have been given and perhaps untapped. I also thank you for helping us crafters, both pros and novices, survive the pandemic we are living in. God Bless You and your Staff! Paulette

So many fun projects! I love the carousel die. Great spring cards.
Too many to list, but Carrie’s explosion box blew me away; there is nothing plain about Debbie’s castle and I love Vivien’s journal. I’ll be pulling my journal kit from Create 7 out. I have been postponing it because it is intimidating. Thanks everyone for the weekly boost!
