Craftspiration – March 17th, 2022
Hello, hello!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you!
We hope that the luck of the Irish is with you all year long! We look forward to Thursdays because we love to see what crafty things that you have been making. This community of crafters inspires fellow members near and far with amazing ideas for cards, scrapbook pages and so much more. We scanned all of the beautiful creations that were made and shared this week, and below you will see some of the highlights. Thank you for posting, everyone!
Reminder that Finishing School Live is today at 12pm EST where we are making baskets of Springtime Wishes! Call all members, we can’t wait to see you in class!
Carla called her card “a glimpse of a geisha slipping into a teahouse” – OxfordLanguage
We love how you combined all of these elements into one wonderful card!
Diane posted, “☘️ I am truly so very lucky but more than that I am blessed. ☘️”
Nita shared, “Easter Baskets made with Basket Easel Card Dies, Easter Egg Dies, Spring stickers, and some with Anna’s Marbelized paper.”
Roxanne said, “I love the new baroque dies!”
Marie wrote, “I’m loving the 3D cross dies with the egg dies for Easter.”
Victoria said, “I finally had a chance to try my handle at a tunnel card. I took inspiration from a card Anna showcased when the Feather papers first came out a few years back.”
This is just beautiful, Victoria!
Dayle shared, “I used the 3D concertina dies to make the book. And I love using the Vintage Easter embellishments to decorate . These are going to be for the grandkids. 3 more to go.”
Jane wrote, “What started as a birthday card ended up a major project. This is for my 1st born daughter. Started with the concertina dies and combined the fancy french frames and the new clock dies. Never planned to take it this extreme but it’s a great keepsake. I’m sure she will treasure forever.”

Adina said, “She is dressed to the nines for a night on the town! Fancy French Frames, Baroque Frames, glitter and foil, and even a few Swarovaski Crystals make this girl feel fancy. Not to mention, the sweet fragrant flowers tucked here and there. Champagne is the only thing she’s missing!”

Dorothy wrote, “Love these Card Toppers I think they are the best ones yet. I promised a friend that I would make her a bunch of Birthday Cards I used these toppers to make 4 of the cards in no time at all. Everyone needs these in their Craft Stash.”

Carri shared, “I was fortunate enough to pick up the Giant Happy Birthday Box card kit during one of Anna’s special sales. Opening the box was a little overwhelming with so many embellishments to choose from, super thankful for the idea sheet. I’ve completed about 36 cards so far with the plan to gift this completed box to my mom for her birthday. This will be the largest gift of cards I’ve ever given her. I know she will appreciate this beautiful box full of AG cards.”

Terry said, “First card made with the gorgeous Heirloom Lace Papercrafting kit. I tried adding flowers here & there, but when I did, I thought it detracted from the prettiness of the paper. Love it as is.”

Julie said, “Tired of all green, wanted to use some less common colors.”

Maritza posted, “This is my 3rd time trying to post. I’m new to finishing school and look forward to sharing and learning from you all.”

Jennifer said, “When I saw the clock dies, I knew this was the card I wanted to make. This is my interpretation of my cuckoo clock I bought while I was in the Air Force stationed in Germany. I felt a little outside of my comfort zone when I started making the card b/c it is not as feminine and floral as most of my Anna Griffin cards are. However, in using the brown matte foil for the 1st time, I couldn’t believe how much I loved it. It is another level of gorgeous and I feel it really made my other elements all work together.”

Sandy shared her baby card, and she loves this die.

Sharon wrote, “I absolutely love Anna’s new Salon Nouveau paper kit! The patterns are so beautiful and versatile. I was challenged by Anna in the FS tutorial to do some fussy cutting of the image and will do more of that in the future!”

Mary shared, “This is another Easter basket made with the Basket Easel Card Dies. The tulips, eggs, gold basket, and bunnies come from the Vintage Bunny Diecuts.”

Robin said, “I had a completely different vision for this card. But my Lillian papers were scattered all over the table when I inadvertently dumped my elements and they landed on this paper. It really spoke to me and I thought really made the card pop. Decision made.”

Terry posted, “I love this die set. Easy to make. I’d love to see a tutorial with any tricks for decorating the inside. A second photo, below, shows the side view and interior.”

Michele shared, “I received this paper kit this week and had to make a card with it yesterday. I paired the heirloom lace with the lace dies.”

Laura said, “Good afternoon my Sunday Share friends. When I find a diecut I really love, it becomes a favorite of mine and I use it alot in various different ways and styles. I cut the Slimline Fanciful Die in half and made it the focal point on front of one Anna’s Foil Impressions card 5 x 7 background.”

Tom shared, “I bought the carriage easel card when it debuted, but had never used it, this was definitely out of my comfort zone. Seven years ago, I made my first and only scrapbook page to date, to commemorate her third birthday– well, Ella is now 10!”
Superb card, Tom! Happy 10th birthday, Ella!

Penny said, “A friend asked me for some angel/fairy cards with no sentiment to use as notecards. Here is one of them. I’m in love with the ribbon edge dies!”

Elaine shared, “Beautiful Heirloom Lace card and Papercrafting Kit! I made this Easter card for Sunday Share.”

Donna posted “Today I used the Heirloom Lace Paper-crafting Kit to create this card for my friend. The papers from this kit are so lush and I’m hoping we will be able to purchase more of our favorites on Anna’s website! I also incorporated embellishments from the Favorite Tea Embellishments! I’m also loving this new Birthday Die.”
What a wonderful card! The embellishments and details really take the cake!

Tina said, “These two cards were made from the Concertina Dies. I love how you can make everything start to finish with one die set! They make such beautiful cards! Thank you Anna for such a wonderful set.”
Vera posted, “This is my Sunday’s work from my new lace kit cards box.”

Tammy shared, “I need to get this heirloom lace paper crafting kit. I have the square cards finishing school kit but I love the 5×7 size best. Here’s a card I made past couple days with some this-n-that Anna stuff from various kits.”

The fine work is breathtaking.
Thank you all.
Joyce T.
I am always so impressed with the knowledge and creativity of other AG crafters! I especially love the cross dies used on one of these cards, and will be saving it to use for my own inspiration. When I see something, I can usually duplicate it, but I lack the creativity to come up with my own designs! Keep the wonderful ideas coming!
It’s another breathtaking Thursday. Each one so creative. Astonishing and beautiful each one so different all are my favorites. I have many more ideas to play and make. Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous cards!! Great work ever!! 💖 Sally
Hi,
Absolutely beautiful and so many more ideas. Thank you all.
These are some of the most beautiful cards I’ve seen on the site. I can see I’m going to have to get the Heirloom Lace paper kit, even though I have the kit—such beautiful papers!. Also the Easter Basket Dies.
WOW what fabulous talent the Griffinites have! !!
Wow! That is a boat load of magnificent projects and cards. Very inspirational! I enjoy seeing everyone’s creativity through their design and color combinations. Thank you!
Great projects. Makes me feel a bit guilty I haven’t used all my new dies or got more cards done this week. Thanks for sharing!😃
WOW, each one was more beautiful than the last.
Thanks for the encouragement to do better!
Marvelous creations everyone.
Spring has sprung!!! Those Easter baskets are too adorable, love all the goodies coming out of them. I am working on my Easter cards too.
So many talented crafters with beautiful cards!! Eye candy for sure! Thanks for sharing!!
I am just blown away every week… so much talent in the community! I love being a part of it. I especially love the baby keepsake, it’s so complete in all the info with a classy way of doing it. Great job:)
Love Easter Eggs…they are beautiful !!!
I have to agree with what Dee said, I have the cross dies, and springtime cards, but have so few Easter sentiments, that the few I get I use them immediately! Most of my Easter cards say Hello, or Best Wishes etc. I buy all of Valentine Card kits, and Halloween Card kits, but I need a whole Easter Card kit every year!
An exquisite Craftspiration Day! I loved everything today! Great job!
These card examples are amazing!
I really like the crosses and birthday cake dies.
Just perfection Anna.
Sincerely, Sunny
Gorgeous cards! Thanks for sharing!
Lovely so enjoyed.
So many wonderful cards for the season. I love the assorted cards that are being given to her mother. Great inspiration!
So many absolutely gorgeous cards. Love them all, will have to attempt to make them. Thanks for sharing
I was disappointed to see that the Vintage Bunny Dies has so few Easter sentiments. I wanted to use them for Easter but I don’t want some relatives getting the nice gold and others getting a handmade stamp one (even if I emboss it in gold). 😔
Ona brighter note I love everyone’s projects.
So much talent shared! Beautiful cards from a beautiful community! Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️🇮🇪☘️
Beautiful cards, thank you for sharing. Everything be did a fabulous job, so creative and inspirational
