Craftspiration – July 14th, 2022
Hello crafters,
We have had the most fun week crafting with you! From our Merry Craftsmas event on HSN to tomorrow’s Finishing School Live, we have had a lot of creativity flying around the office. Speaking of creativity, we have loads of projects, cards and more to show you from our crafting community. You all are so talented, and the love and attention to detail you put into your crafting is on display here today.
Come take a look at the beautiful things shared with us this week!
Lu said, “Yadyra gave us a weekend challenge of Christmas in July. This is my 29th Christmas card so far this year. Can’t wait to see you on Craft Day!”

Elaine posted, “I made a Birthday card for a neighbor who will be 80 years young this week. We will visit, have some tea and laughter and just enjoy her special day.”

Adina wrote, “Bonjour! This is my Sunday Share for Anna Griffin Inc using Tour Eiffel 3D Dies. I used the Intricate Pop-out dies as an easel so that the Eiffel Tower would be standing. I made a smaller easel for the base so that the tables could sit on the base card. They are the stopper for the Tower layer. The sentiment serves as a stopper for the table easel. Merci, Anna Griffin!”

Yvonne shared, “Created a sympathy card to comfort a friend who lost her 97yo mom. It is never easy no matter the age, a piece of your heart goes too.”

Loraine said, “Birthday Cards for 2 grandsons are on the agenda this week!”

Sally posted, “Scrapbook layout of my granddaughter’s 4th birthday.”

Tina wrote, “Perfect card for a wedding or any occasion at all!”

Vivian shared, “Another card I made with this wonderful die set.”

Gay Lynn posted, “Unfortunately I had a need for a sympathy card. Hopefully letting our friends know how we care will bring a tiny bit of comfort.”

Sherry said, “I just finished a page for a scrapbook I am working on for a newly engaged couple. I placed the flowers so they would show off her engagement ring and added the butterfly as if it was admiring the ring. For the journaling tag I made the theme on my Cricut and them heat embossed it in gold and topped it off with glitter. Their faces say it all! Looking forward to the July 12th Craft Day show!”

Heidi posted, “Had to try it out. Four sides and light her up.”

Shirli said, “How about more international architectural scenes. London, for instance.”

Frankie wrote, “I made this card for a relative that lives in a small town in Canada that my mom grew up in and as children they weee told that Santa came to their town aboard since for generations the men in the family had worked for the railroad company. I’m sure this will bring a smile to them.”

Mary said, “When I saw the oval frame from the Tour Eiffel set, I immediately thought of some beautifully framed antique oil portraits in the home of an older couple that I loved very much. Their house was full of the most amazing things. So I wanted to make my own version of one of those portraits.”

Diane posted, “The Red Christmas Train! So many ideas with this set! Used AG Christmas Border Stickers to decorate the train along with her Christmas papers.”

Mary said, “When is a Ferris wheel not a Ferris wheel? When it’s a clock! I just got these dies, and immediately thought of the clock dies. And, of course, I had to set the hands to the cocktail hour because it’s time to celebrate!”

Carla wrote, “I’m having so much fun with the Hearth dies and new papers! I plan to use this die for Christmas but I couldn’t wait to try it out!”

Lourdes said, “These beautiful Tour Eiffel dies came today just in time for my granddaughter’s 13th birthday card! She dreams of someday visiting Paris! Anna has the best papers and embellishments. I peeled the sentiment off of another one and put it on the Cartouche die, bow dies and corner dies from China Cabinet. This was a very fast and easy card to make for her birthday today. Off to her birthday party! Thank you, Anna!”

Rochelle wrote, “I made this card for a friend who lost her pet parrot. She was so saddened at her loss, she had her for over 12 years. The birdcage easel die was the perfect die. Front of the card I used the the beautiful one piece bird and rose embellishment from the feathers and embellishments and sentiment kit. Inside rose and dove from same kit. The parrot I cut to place on front of birdcage was from the Greenhouse card toppers. The thing that is not Anna’s is the paper.”

Diane shared, “Using my Dresdins and Anna’s cardstock created this card for a Fisherman’s birthday. The inside sentiment says: Have a R E E L – Y great birthday!”

Marie shared, “This was fun to create and I even got the center part to rotate with a brad. I used fun paper from the birthday set, foiled paper and one layer of vellum.”

Marie said, “I’ve been wanting to do a trifold gate die card and today was the day. Not easy to capture in a picture but it worked!”

Frances shared, “I really had a lot of fun with the Carriage Easel die and the Castle Easel die!”

Beth posted, “I try to get a head start by making a few Christmas cards in July each year .Looking through my stash I stumbled across a card from Create 6 that I never completed.”

Adina, you are so very talented!!! Your card was gorgeous. Would love to know how you included the small easel with the bistro table. Does it also collapse so that this card could be mailed? Truly my was my favorite. And that is hard to admit, because there are so many gorgeous cards today, but I thought you should know. Hugs, Marcie Smith, a fellow crafter and one of Anna’s long time followers.
-
Hi Marci! Thank you very much for your sweet compliments. The small easel is made just like a large easel, only smaller. It does collapse and folds inside the card. When folded it can’t be seen. I hope that made sense. If not, just let me know! Hugs back at you! Adina

Susan Beck’s comment is one of the many ways that Anna Griffin has touched our lives and helped us during challenging times. For me it was my health . I battled several issues that were discouraging and for the first time my bounce back didn’t bounce back. The doctors in my area kept telling me that it was a problem I had to live with. It limited what I was able to do but I had time and began watching Anna Griffin on HSN & YouTube. I’m a retired Art teacher and what kept me positive about my health was looking forward to being able to create with Anna’s Products. I began purchasing my favorites and kept positive thoughts. Now Like Susan I have quite a collection and last October because of my daughter’s efforts I went to a Specialist at Emory/ St. Joseph’s in Atlanta who was able to fix my heart problem with a 3rd Ablation and medication.
Anna’s products are beautifully created , well designed, and enabled me to remain optimistic while watching all the creative possibilities. I continued to look forward to being able to create when my health improved and that kept me optimistic. I joined finishing school . I love 💕 my collection.
Anna touches lives in ways she can’t imagine, encourages people dealing with unexpected situations .
The cards in this post are examples of what marvelous cards people are capable of creating!
Honestly Friday’s are the days of the week I have come to look forward to at Anna’s Blog! For a long time I didn’t check in every Friday but now I see so many gorgeous things that I just can’t miss. This Friday is no exception! Each and every picture is wonderful!!
Such beautiful, fun, and creative cards! Thanks to all for sharing with us!
What talent! Absolutely amazing word, thank you so much for sharing.
Such beautiful and inspiring creations! I am awaiting the numerous AG purchases I made on craft day. The one thing I need, though, is more friends to whom I send them!
Thank you, Anna, for making this delightful hobby possible.
absolutely beautiful cards as always and always fun to work with Anna’s products.
All of these Paris-themed cards have left me longing to visit the Left Bank again!! I particularly love the black and pink cards, of which there are several. Way to go, Griffinite crafters!
So much talent, just beautiful!
I bought a lot of your AG and Cricut products this week on HSN and can’t wait until they arrive (mine is still in processing). My Godson died suddenly last week . His death is a criminal investigation, so his autopsy results have not been released. . We are having a memorial service tonight. This week’s craft show and the anticipation of receiving my goodies helped me emotionally. Crafting is the best therapy and I am so glad I discovered your products several years ago. Like so many of us, I need to build another room onto my house or buy a portable building to turn into my craft she she room. The posts and creations this week are very uplifting and inspirational. I look forward to seeing them each week.
All the cards are beautiful. Christmas is my favorite holiday. Is there any way to find out what dies were used to make the gingerbread house? I love seeing everyone’s creations but sometimes I’m not sure what to order. Thanks
I am so impressed with this weeks postings. I have the gate die but would like to know how to make the trifold card. I am anxiously waiting for my HSN orders to arrive.
Such beautiful cards!!! One technique I would love to understand is …..how was the gold embossed layer done, on the card by Beth Turchi. Embossed, then cut……or cut then embossed (the edges are free from embossed image)…or did it come that way in the kit???
What great cards…..so much inspiration!
Just amazing. Beautiful cards and talent.
Oh my, such inspiration in today’s examples. Love the bows on the cake.
Oh my! I love your projects Griffinites!
Anna, I LOVED watching you on HSN, and I spent quite a bit of money too! I LOVE your products, and have for so many years. I know I am always getting the best when I purchase from you. Your paper and dies are so nice. I LOVE your impression dies, and wish I could have afforded the winter impression dies this time also. I have all your other impression dies, and use them all the time!! Thank you for what you do for us crafters. I am making cards every day to send out to family and friends, and my church family.

So many beautiful cards. Love them all.
Wow! Such amazing craftsmanship-every piece is worthy of praise.
What talent!!! I’m wondering WHERE Frankie found the SLEIGH die that is behind the Santa train. I see she put it on the wheels of the train car, but the sleigh is lovely. Is that an Anna Griffin die??
All of them are amazing!
Hello Anna & Greetings to All the Griffinites
I am rarely without words, except after looking at today’s creations. Wow!
Blessings
Such varied and fabulous artwork…fabulous and thanks to all for the inspiration.
They are all wonderful as always; but, must say the train pulling the sleigh makes me laugh !! The clock ferris wheel i a good one too. Some need to do the ferris wheel and the effiel tower together as there is a ferris wheel very near it in Paris..
Just loved the Eiffel Tower lite decoration. Went to Paris years ago and never got to go to it because workers were on strike!
I don’t think there is one card that didn’t make me smile. Beautiful work ladies. The papers from Ann’s collections let you all express your inner creativity.
Everything here is wonderful. Love love love the Eiffel Tower cards. I’m getting my die very soon. The fisherman’s card is extremely creative!
Gorgeous cards.
Fabulous Carriage and Castle work!!
Adorable Gingerbread House!!
