One of the brightest spots of this week is seeing your creativity! Here’s a look a what our talented community has been posting on our social media channels. Well done everyone! You are an inspiration to all!
We were treated to a Shutter Card Gallery in Finishing School. Just look at Susan Richardson’s Valentine!
Lourdes Papac – I made this shutter card for my friend in Georgia. I used the peacock papers from Anna’s Create box. I wanted the peacocks to show, so I left the front of the card simple. The belly band was made from a Bountiful birthday card topper, and I cut off the long paper behind it. I used the mini pocket dies for the back which will hold my message to her. Anna’s papers are so unique and beautiful. This was fun!
Jane Forrest – So much fun making cards from Create!
Our friend Dianne has been cleverly renovating cards. I really liked the nativity scenes in these cards and wanted to Annafy them for sending next year. My New Year’s Resolution for card crafting this year is: 1) to make at least one Christmas card a week so I can finish them earlier in the season. So far, I average about 100 cards, my biggest output of the year. Plus I love the feelings I get when just thinking about Christmas! Happy … happy! 2) to make my own paper. I purchased a kit but haven’t used it yet so stay tuned. Does anyone else have any Crafting Resolutions?
Marie Fix – Cat pop out card. A friend requested a special birthday card for her cat loving soon to be 92 year old mother in law. This die set is so amazing and I’m looking forward to the ones coming out this year.
Linda Alexander Toile Window Ledge Cards #1 I had fun creating these toile paper mini scenes peeking through the window ledge cards. With a fern and an abundance of flowers it’s a (very) early glimpse of Spring! Happy New Year Everyone!
Vanessa Thorp – Valentine Album! I created a valentine album, I haven’t added pictures yet! I’ll have to create multiple posts to show the pages. The closure is a magnetic snap.
