Hi crafters,

Welcome to a whole new year of Craftspiration. We love using this weekly post to show off and spotlight all of the amazing crafting and handiwork that we see across our social media channels. We have the most talented crafters and each week we are so inspired by the cards, scrapbook pages and 3D paper projects that you create and share.

Let’s kick off the year with a number of beautiful projects!

Erlene said, “I was unable to attend Create but was overjoyed when Anna offered the kits to us. They’re so easy and look incredible.”

Sherry wrote, “Confession: When I first saw the Ribbon Bound Journal dies in my Create 7 pack I wrinkled my nose and said “I don’t think so”. But I participated in the class and was pleasantly surprised how interested I was in making this project. So I decided that this would be a Christmas present to my daughter. I personalized it with pics of family and her children and added inspirational touches complete with small hand written notes in the small handmade envelopes. Unknowingly to me my husband snapped pics of her opening it on Christmas Day. The pics with her expressions are so precious. She was touched! Her expressions of each section are so heartwarming to me. (below are a few pics of the journal). I can’t wait to make another! Thank you Anna for another truly great die set.”

Adina posted, “I used the Fan Pop-Out Die and the Honoka papers and embellishments. Since there are Peacocks printed on the cardstock I used, I decided to use the Peacock from the Feather Dies on the belly band.”

Heidi wrote, “Phew, thank you for finishing school boxes. First time I had opened one. I know I know I’m way behind. Ever so thankful that there were thank you tags in here. Yes, I so need more even toppers would be excellent. Trying to get through this next chapter in my life and boy it’s hard to create. I will get there again.”

Take a look at Judy’s Nutcracker ornaments! These are gold, glittery and gorgeous!

Tina used the Garland Cut and Emboss Folders to make a Best Wishes card!

Marie said, “Anna’s Tuesday tutorial made me open the slimline birthday kit and use some of the slimline dies. They are a great combo.”

Mary shared, “I have o.d.ed on my Christmas crafts for at least a few months, and made a few other cards today. This is for a good friend who, thanks to Covid, I haven’t seen in awhile. I am loving the Heirloom Lace Kit. And one of Diane’s banners fit right in! Love those too!”

Sharilyn wrote, “Starting the lace box, think this is my favorite.”

Melissa posted, “Everything is Anna Griffin except the pocket on the bottom, it was just a random die I had for a 4×6 card. Penny Comeau provided the flowers on the front.”


Doris shared, “Granddaughter Emma in an old Scrapbook page kit by Anna Griffin. I hope Anna will make more Scrapbook kits!”

  • Cards are beautiful. Thanks for sharing those. I just finished watching Anna Griffin teach me how to make beautiful cards with the finishing school China Cabinet Craft Box and dies. I made a beautiful card for a friend of mine whose husband has been sick for awhile. Thanks Anna for all the beautiful Cards, Dies and embellishments that you sell to your followers. The more dies I get the more I want.

  • Awesome projects! I have that scrapbook page in a album. It was my first Anna Griffin kit, and I got it from Michael’s Craft store. All the papers, chip boards and embellishments were in the kit. Also full instructions were included. My next Anna Griffin kit from Michael’s Craft store was an easier page that involved cutting and weaving the papers. That page is also in the same album, and since I had the instructions I have cut other Anna Griffin papers, and weaved them into scrapbook pages.

    • You sound like me. But I thought of the joy I would give everyone by sending them a thoughtful card. I was right. It built them up. We’re are all suffering from Covid fatigue and one symptom is lack of motivation. I learned this on JW.Ord. Try to make just one beautiful card and you’ll see.

  • I have to agree with Sherry’s confession. When I first saw the Ribbon Bound Journal Set I thought it was very nice but I wasn’t sure that I would ever make one. But… after watching the class I was inspired to also make them for Christmas presents. I made three gardening journals for my gardening friends and a sewing theme journal for my quilting friend. (thank goodness for the sewing cut and emboss folder set!). They were all thrilled. Now – I need to make one for myself!

  • Please tell me why my Anna dies keep getting eaten up going though any machine I use the gold paper is the worst. Please help me.

  • My favorite day….Craftspiration ‼️ Doris I have this same scrapbook layout. I remember how much I loved making the pleated edge. And I agree with Doris we need more scrapbooking kits and more emphasis on scrapbooking.. The Nutcracker ornaments are gorgeous……these are going on my list of ornaments for next Christmas. My goal is to make a different ornament every month. In fact, five of each ornament as I plan to give sets of the ornaments as gifts. The carousel is beautiful….love the colors and the papers used.
