Craftspiration – August 25th, 2022
Hello Griffinites,
We hope that you are having a good week, and that you have a creative weekend ahead of you. Everywhere we looked this week, we saw beautiful paper projects! It is so much fun to see cards and 3D projects made with our newest everyday and Halloween craft items. You are having so much fun making new creations and layering them in with different crafting items that you already have.
Come look at all of the fun things that were made this week.
Debbie said, “This die set isn’t new, but it’s new to me. The gold house on the right must have its lights off & the orange house has the lights on. I love the fence die.”

Veronica shared, “Celebrations Happy Birthday card making kit finishing school. Best wishes Newlyweds.”
Sherry shared, “This birthday card is crafted using Celebration Chest dies on the front decorated with a serious golf scene. The circle on the cover perfectly covers the embossed circle on the inside of the card hiding a snarky surprise when opened. I used Handsome cardstock & foils and Carte Homme dies to trim the corners.”
This is so cute!

Adina posted, “Why did the witch go to the doctor?~~ She had a dizzy spell.~~ What do you call a nervous witch?~~ A twitch.~~ Why do witches not wear a regular hat?~~ Because there’s no point in it.~~ I conjured up this card by mixing the Witchy Halloween Card Making Kit, Vintage Halloween Cardmaking Kit, Vintage Fall Decoupage Die Cuts, Carriage Slimline Die, Fan Pop-out Die, Spider Web Cut and Emboss Folder, eye of newt, toe of frog, and wool of bat into my cauldron and this is what brewed to the top!”
We’re cackling Adina!

Barbara said, “Last December I made 25 blue and white cards for my best friend, as a count down to Christmas. Now Anna Griffin is going to offer and entire Blue and white Kit. Can’t wait.”
We think you are going to love Carte Canton Bleu just as much as we do!

Maria wrote, “I just received my Carte Noel box and couldn’t wait to do class #3. The embossing underneath the door was very subtle so I cut thin pieces of cardstock to make the steps.”
Excellent work!
Mary said, “I thought the new climbing vines might look nice with the gazebo dies, so this my try at it.”

Shakuntala shared, “Experimenting with new ways to add dimension to the cards. I love everything 3D!”
We love your 3D project! This is amazing.

Julie wrote, “Loved how quickly this card came together! I’m going to make a bunch to have for Weddings, Birthdays and even memorials!”
What a fun card and photo!

Heidi posted, “I recaptured our memories. A mini scrapbook in the explosion box. I also shhh he does not know yet but tonight he will, a new wedding band. His has been through the ringer (literally) and missing stones for the longest time. I was able to capture his parents and mine as well as us. Included a few honeymoon photos and will journal inside the tag.”
So special! He’s going to love it!
Tried a lavender bird cage card with yellow and white flowers for a 50th birthday. Gave the bird a set of butterfly wings for a touch of whimsy.”

Lots of experimenting with different dies/papers for this Christmas Card!!”

My first card from the Carte Noel kit is one from the idea sheet. Love this kit!”

Great idea! Thanks for sharing with us.

Birdhouses are my go to for cheering someone’s day!”

Beautiful Christmas cards. I made this Halloween card using elements from several collections. I love how everything Anna goes together.”

Love both of them! I bought these dies but have not tried them yet – maybe this will have to be a project for the coming week. This week, I was using the Thankfulness cardstock and embellishments to make a few thank you cards. I was inspired to use these materials to create my version of this week’s Tutorial Tuesday.”

My Sunday Share! Sharing a scrapbook page of when my mother was born! I had never seen any of these baby pictures before and they are so precious! I love the one of Grandpa John holding her and on the blanket on the couch!”
This is so special. What beautiful memories!

After I finished making my first pumpkin easel card, I showed it to Jim. He looked at it and had a perplexed look on his face. I asked what was wrong with the card. He replied, why is it green when pumpkins are oranges? My response to him was, use your imagination, it hasn’t ripened yet! He burst out laughing! I just had to share this conversation!”
Haha, too funny!

A couple of cards using the Heirloom Lace papers with the same die! 3D Fancy French Frame Dies 2. Loving the bows and butterflies too!”

Fun birthday make with pocket dies, velum and botanical engraving stickers.”

My kit came quickly and I dived right in!”
