Griffinites are crafting for birthdays, thinking of you and we are starting to see Mother’s Day cards.
It’s time to grab a cup of tea or coffee and scroll all of the wonderful projects shared this week!
Lu shared, “A birthday card for a friend. Love the Heirloom Lace!”
Dayle wrote, “I loved the Mother’s Day card Anna made on finishing school. I tried to use some of the elements from that class on this card. First time I have used chip board through the empress. So pleased how it cut so easily. Fun doing all the layers. Hard to tell in the picture how thick it is.”
Such a happy card and photo!
Barbie posted, “Shhhh! Don’t tell hubby but this is his anniversary card! I hope it’s not to girly for him- which is why I normally don’t make him cards. I love these 3D bow dies too! More pics in comments too. Edited: I forgot to say I am making this 6 months early as I always forget to buy/make him a card. LOL!!”
Happy Anniversary to you two, and many happy years to come!
Adina said, “Why blend in when you were born to stand out? It was nearly impossible to get a good photo of this. I heat embossed the center Peacock with clear embossing powder. It looks like glass and reflects the light back into the camera.”
Your photo and card are absolutely stunning!
Debbie wrote, “I just finished a card family that can be used for birthdays or any other special day. I decided to add feathers to the Daughter card since birds are feathering their nests now that it’s Spring.”
These are lovely, personalized cards! Thanks for sharing with us.
Beth shared, “My Sister-in-Law will be turning 80 in May so for this special milestone I made her a Concertina birthday photo / folio. I combined the Concertina dies with the Fancy French Frame dies, the photo card dies and the cake easel dies. The papers from the Heirloom Lace paper crafting kit were the perfect backdrop. The front of the card features a dimensional cake in which I stacked each tier multiple times to achieve a 3D effect.”
What a special gift! She will treasure this, Beth.
Robin said, “As soon as I saw the papers for the Heritage Collection last year, I knew they would be perfect for an anniversary card I wanted to create to commemorate my sister and brother-in-law’s 40th Anniversary happening in June.”
Sharon posted, “I used the card kit and the dies to make this card for my daughter.”
Lourdes wrote, “Two get well cards for two sick friends. I wanted to brighten up their days, so I used Anna’s Tea Party dies, the 3D Victorian Concentric dies, and embossed the shadow layer with the beautiful Hearts and Flowers embossing folders. I’m hoping they’ll both feel better soon!”
We know that these cheerful cards will brighten your friends’ day!
