Craftspiration – April 14th, 2022
Hi friends,
April is flying by, and this Sunday is Easter! We have truly enjoyed seeing all of your outstanding spring and Easter projects. Below are the pretty card, scrapbook pages and projects that you shared across our social media channels this week. Thank you for always inspiring us and our community with your amazing ideas and expert craftsmanship.
Come take a look!
Karenbeatrice said, “This card blew my friend away. He never had a handmade card and couldn’t believe it when I gave him this. He couldn’t figure out how I put his age on the top of the cake. He flipped when he saw the cake was personalized with his name. He LOVED the clock and that it had the exact time of his birth, 11:55! I had a wonderful time making this card. I wish I could post the other 2 photos of the card. The back has one of Anna’s large sentiments, perfect color, perfect saying. Those sentiments are awesome! I made my friend 4 cards total. He said he would cherish them all. It is so worth making a handmade card and using Anna’s dies, tools, and papers. I have 1 belated card to make as soon as the last present arrives. Cant wait to use more Anna! :)”

Lisa wrote, “Here is this year’s Easter card inspired by a card another Griffinitte sent in for Fan Mail Friday. I changed the colors and inside up.”

Nita posted, “These are Easter cards for two friends. Maypole bunnies from Easter Stickers and big bunny from the Vintage Bunny Stickers.”

Sherry shared, “I made 20 cards from the Vintage Bunny Diecuts pack. Here is a small sampling. Most of the cards were made using either Springtime or Birthday cards but the one really love is the Artist Bunny card. I used Fancy Foil cardstock for this card and I really love the texture. For the majority of cards, I did some fussy cutting on some die cuts so that I could layer.”

Deborah posted, “For this Easter Basket, I used golden card base that had gray edges, so I took care of that by adding a scallop around the edge with our blue foil cardstock, then I added a Spring Topper from our Delightful Collage Card Toppers. I cut away the bits I didn’t need for this card and that also helped it fit into the basket, I also added a tiny Easter sentiment from my stash to change it from ‘Spring’ to Easter. Once again the inked basket was made using Anna’s Pigment ink pads and this time I used the white metallic card stock. The blue ink really pops against the white!! I added 2 AG yellow roses, a few eggs from Vintage Bunny Diecuts and a blue bow as well as my fave Cross from the Cut and Emboss Die Folders.”
What a beautiful, inked basket!

Shakuntala said, “I decided to play around with the pop up bouquet box and added favorite tea embellishments and some Easter embellishments. Got the fairy die as a gift and decided to add that for a whimsical effect. Let’s all have some tea!!”
Pretty, pretty!

Debbie said, “I really enjoy the castle die set. It can be decorated in so many ways.”
What a gorgeous neighborhood of castles! Each one is more beautiful than the next!

Mary wrote, “I used my newest Anna die Lace Edge die and cut two of them in half. Then I made a frame. I was out of ivory paper but found some old paper in the stash. The paper reminds me of my Mother’s button box, so I kept this non Anna item to use. Title is Cricut and Photo made.”

Pamela posted, “Here’s the bouquet inside the card. This box is truly a bouquet in a card. I love this card.”

Anne said, “The journals make wonderful baby books!”
So special! This is a great keepsake.

Marie shared, “Gentleman’s study works perfectly with the new baroque die sets. It made a perfect card for my brother in law.”

Jane wrote, “I love these so much. Here I’m using a different part of the cathedral die set and they just get better.”

Dayle shared, “I love the beautiful colors in this collection. I used the papers, embellishments for my granddaughter’s page. I made the flowers using the mini flowers dies. Three of the mats and the butterflies were made on the Cricut on Anna Griffin Cricut access.”

Adina shared, “Happy Easter to Anna Griffin and staff, my friends here in the community, and your families! May you be blessed as we celebrate a risen Christ! This card was made with the Fancy Foil Cardstock, Fan Pop-out Dies, Easter Egg Jacket Die, 3D Cross Dies, Fancy French Frame oval die for small Easter Eggs, Festive Flourish Dies, Pleated Ribbon Dies, 3D Ribbon Edge Dies, Bunny Die cuts, Easter Stickers, Christmas Dresden, China Cabinet Flower Stickers, Gold Foil Flourishes, and a Springtime Card Topper.”
Wow, what an eggs-ceptional easel card!

Diane posted her “Easter Parade Card #1.”
Mary said, “This is my last Easter card for this year. I love the cross dies and the gothic set. Such beautiful designs together.”

Roxanne made a lovely Easter bunny card.
Shellie said, “I do love art and history, Anna, and your Baroque cards are exquisite! Over here, I was more like a primary pupil in arts & craft class where the stickers and adhesives were plentiful and I had to use them all!”

Mary Beth wrote, “After seeing the Beth Turchi’s creation…just had to try my hand at a “Mad Hatter”!”

Darla said, “I love the baroque die! I’ve had so much fun with the cross dies!”

Suravi shared, “I made this scrapbook page for my Mom’s 70th birthday remembering her fondly.”
This is a beautiful present for a special lady!

Donna wrote, “This is the last of my Easter cards using the Gazebo Dies!”

Valerie said, “Last Easter card from me to a sweet former coworker. On this one I added the 3D Cross dies to the Treasury Dies & Easter Egg dies. Loved using my pretty paper scraps for the eggs.”

Jane shared, “More Easter fun!”
Plaid makes the perfect background for your card!

Yvonne wrote, “Today I made my first-ever cake easel card for an upcoming birthday. I used the vintage blues from Heirloom Lace to make the cake and cascaded yellow roses down the side. Added a touch of blue pearls at the top then down the other side opposite of the roses. The sentiment was one from my computer files and added a yellow mascara rose to offset the roses on the cake.”

Faith said, “I am creating a few cards for someone at work who is retiring. Several people at work asked me to make cards for people to sign.”

Susan wrote, “I love this basket die! I love how it can be used on a 5 x 7 card or as an easel.”
Love the basket full of tulips!

Michele shared, “This week, I was making Easter cards for family using the 3D Cross Dies. I also used the new Cartouche Cut and Emboss Folders to make the sentiment.”

I love all bunnies & Easter eggs. Happy Blessed Easter to everyone
Just amazing talent. Inspirational for sure.
I, too, really like how people mix and match various dies, papers, techniques creating really spectacular art works. Helps to give me ideas to pull out some of my ‘older’ goodies and use them in new ways.
I always enjoy seeing the beautiful, creative cards that talented folks from across the nation send to Anna. However, its so fun to start my day being inspired by amazing scrapbook pages. Being able to document a moment in time of someone’s life in such a lovely way is a blessing for the crafter as well as future generations..
I’m inspired by all these creations!
Just wondering how I can get the dimensions to make the hat box?

Hello Anna & Greetings to All the Griffinites
Anna, thank you for posting my most recent Easter card. Please accept my apologies for the blurry photo, yet the card was well received. Thanks to your products, my friend text me and said, “Pure Talent, I think it is the most beautiful card I’ve ever seen in my life.”

I enjoyed all the beautiful cards posted this month. Unfortunately I was unable to to post any of my own as I didn’t have much time. I was taking care of a friend of 12 year old friendship, who was recovering from a hernia surgery. Thank you all for inspiring me and sharing your absolutely beautiful cards!
