We are excited to show you a few ways to work with our Ornate Concentric Dies that you may not have thought of before! This set of dies contains two very different, ornate frames and all of the layer dies needed to achieve an opulent look on your craft projects. You can get a set of your own here: https://annagriffin.com/product/ornate-concentric-frame-dies/. Today’s tutorial will be available for one week, and then will move into our Charm School Curriculum where you can access all of our instructional videos as a member of Finishing School.
Get out your dies and let’s make these two cards!
First choose a pretty background paper and some coordinating cardstock.
Die cut the shadow layer and the large frame out of contrasting colors. When you think of shadow layers, you think dark on the bottom, but sometimes it’s fun to mix it up!
Add your layered frame to your card with foam adhesive.
Die cut the center die with contrasting card stock. This layer goes on with more foam adhesive.
Add your next die cut layer with foam adhesive. An oval sentiment fits right in the center.
Finish your card with a few flowers on opposite sides and some extra embellishments.
Now, send your card to a friend or loved one to celebrate an important birthday!
This card uses the rectangular concentric dies. Choose a patterned card and some colored cardstock that compliments your card.
Cut out the large frame die and fussy cut the middle out of it.
Add to your card with foam adhesive.
Pop your next layer onto the card, in the middle of your frame die.
Using foam adhesive, add your smaller oval onto your card.
There are a lot of wonderful oval sentiments in our card kits. Choose one and place it on top of the oval.
Add flowers to your card to create movement.
Finish your card with a pretty bow and a butterfly for interest.
Use our Ornate Concentric Dies to make gorgeous wedding cards.
Play with light and dark shades to make your backgrounds.
Use your sanding blocks to give your layers an extra element.
Add diecuts from any of your other die sets to the card to further embellish!
The shape of this card is truly spectacular! It was cut with the shadow layer die.
You can even use your Concentric Frame Dies to create easel dies.
That was fun! Always remember to think outside the box when it comes to crafting. There’s no limit to the amazing projects you can make. Plus, it’s always a good idea to send a heartfelt card to someone you love!
