Simply Retro Christmas Card Making Kit- Made Easy

Hi crafters,

One of the best things we make is our Simply series of card making kits. Today, we are going to show you how we like to work with this kit to make a fantastic, festive card. What's great about the Simply Retro Christmas Card Making Kit is that everything you need is inside the reusable folio-- from card bases and layers to embellishments and sentiments. The mix and match method creates 12 flawless cards quickly and easily; try it, you'll see! The nostalgic patterns and designs in this kit are sure to bring a smile to any recipient!
Get out your Simply Retro Christmas Card Making Kit and let's get started.
First, add a layer to  your card with foam adhesive to make it dimensional. We chose to do a blue card with a blue layer.
Add a couple of poinsettia stickers to the corners of your card. Place a gold foil embellishment behind each for added interest. Adding the gold foil embellishments provides contrast and gives a sense of length to the groupings of embellishments.
We like to add 4-5 embellishments per card.
Next, attach an embellishment with foam adhesive for extra dimension.
How cute is the kitty in the stocking? He is perfect right in the middle of the card!
To finish your card add a sprig of holly to the right of the stocking, an embellishment and one of the included red bows.
This lovely card is just the thing for sending Merry Christmas wishes to someone this holiday season.
This lighthearted kit is great for Christmas and to evoke memories of holidays past. From the jolly Santa to the cheery stockings, you are going to love all of the wonderful ephemera in this kit.
Mix holly with all of the red and green elements for a festive card.
Fussy cut the background layers for a unique background every time.
Santa and a decked out tree are the perfect combo.
If you don't have this kit, then this week is the perfect opportunity to get it for yourself. Stash it in your desk at work or your craft room for a fun, fool-proof holiday card. Today's tutorial will be here for the next week; access all of the crafting you can imagine with your AG Membership. We are always adding new content, members only products, livestreams and more.

This is one of my favorite collections. I would LOVE to see an embellishment set of all these retro designs. They remind me of my childhood. Such fond memories.

The Simply Series makes it a no brainer for anyone to make cards. But for the more advanced crafter they can add dies from their stash if so inclined.
Thanks for another great tutorial.
Happy Crafting!

I just loved this kit. I am really enjoying the items that are more modern retro images, like this kit. I love the images in the snowman stickers, the retro Santa stickers, and the advent calendar.I would like to see a collection that is similar to the advent calendar. I am hoping to keep seeing more retro inages like these, some valentines stickers with retro images like the one kids you to send would be fun and maybe some retro bunnies for Easter. I like the very vintage images too, but have really been enjoying the retro ones. I would love to see a collection that has retro shiny brite with the pretty pastels but also some bright hot pink thrown in too and complementary images from the 40-60’s . I have been buying multiples of these fun images because of fear of using them all up, I can’t get enough, Thanks Anna!

HI ANNA,

I loved this kit and sent it to my niece. I hope to make you a special card, but the last month has been like a roller coaster. My brother, 83 and a Viet Nam Veteran died from Agent Orange. He rallied and even picked on me, I miss him so much. I know it’s for the best, he’s no longer in pain and on that dang feeding tube. So, your beautiful kits are helping me cope. God Bless America!
