Today, we are going to create the perfect gift box for any occasion! We make the crème de la crème of paper projects during our Create events; and we will be making top tier crafts during this year's amazing event too! If you didn't participate with us last November, then this is your chance to get your hands on the wonderful Perfume Dies and Supplies. It is so much fun to create custom boxes for treats of all kinds using the contents of this kit. You will also love using the dies year-round for holiday gift boxes, birthdays, Halloween and more. Let's make a perfume box together!
First, we Xyron-ed matte gold foil cardstock to get ready for our cuts. This allows for a much easier application!
Next, cut the details for our perfume box from that Xyron-ed paper.
Diecut two of the large shadow layer to create the structure from the gray and gold damask.
Cut one of the perfume box tops from the same cardstock.
Adhere the 2 pieces together using the tabs.
Be sure to use a strong tear tape to attach the pieces together. The bottom pieces get tear tape on all folds but one.
Secure the top together with tear tape too.
Use tear tape on the tabs to create the top of the box.
Be sure to press the tabs together well to secure.
Now you have the structure of the perfume box.
Take your decorative, Xyron-ed pieces and adhere them to the box.
Use the included embellishments to decorate on top of the gold and gray pieces.

The included papers, like this red, is a thicker GSM so that your box can hold whatever you put inside.
One fun idea is to fussy cut some of the box sides and use the decorative dies to make see through sides!
The Perfume Dies and Supplies is a great example of dies that do something. You are able to make something that is easily used for holidays and occasions of all kinds. After the supplies have been used, you can continue to make perfume boxes with the dies and any of your favorite papers.
