We have a table full of beautiful cards, letters, stories, photos and more. We love that you choose to send us such special things, and we're glad that we can connect you and be a catalyst for the friendships, groups and community that we have today.
Buckle up, buttercup today's Fan Mail Friday is heartfelt!
Some of you might remember Cindi asking for Griffinites to mail cards for her mother, Anna's 104th birthday last fall. We are sad to hear about Anna's passing, but we are so glad that she and her wonderful daughter Cindi were able to craft and create together. It's amazing to hear about what we know was the most special relationship.
This is Donna's first Fan Mail Friday card! She wrote that she wasn't a scrapbooker, but attended our Crop at Home 4 event. Donna used the techniques and tips that she learned and has been applying them to card making; as seen below on her Phoebeframe card! She said that she appreciates the whole team, and the hard work put in to our products and events. You are so welcome, Donna!
We got to hear from Anne and the Illinois Griffinites! They are close to 60 members strong, and just had their 3rd crafting event together. In the letter, Anne wrote how she learned about Anna Griffin from her Aunt Karen, and how during the pandemic they crafted together at a safe distance. Since then she has attended all of the virtual events and creates lovely gifts for her family.
Jimmie Lynn made this incredibly fun bordered scrapbook page, complete with red, white and blue, a hot air balloon, stars and bows! Jimmie Lynn, we are so glad to hear that your husband is recovering and that your family has come together to support you both and manage your company. We are sending you nothing but love and hugs!
Thank you all for sending in your cards and projects this week. It's so wonderful to know you and to be present to all of the goings on in your lives. We love and appreciate each and every one of you! If you would like to send something to us for Fan Mail Friday, you can mail it to us at 99 Armour Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30324!
Wow, Lady Griffin you were honored beautifully today. I loved the projects and cards everyone did. I was thinking of you while preparing all my 4th of July cards. Thank you for reading everyone’s letters and cards, it is so meaningful. Thank you for being YOU, we love you!
What amazing and touching letters and cards! It makes me feel even closer to the AG community when we all share like this.
I am so glad you received my FMF card as I just got to see my granddaughter Phoebe who just turned 10 whom I won the Phoebe Collection of paper and Embellishments for her to use in making her Cancer Journey Book . She is finally doing so well and is in remission. She will continue treatment for another year to be sure she stays in remission and to get stronger as the days go by. Getting cards can mean so much to those who are going through tough times, and especially to children who are mighty fighters. But they can bounce back quickly when they have been given treatments from mighty Doctors and Nurses and Technicians. We are all blessed that advances have been made by those who have caring hearts and abilities to save lives. Don’t ever give up the Art of making cards to those who need encouragement or just a smile in their day as it means so much. Today is my Birthday as I just turned 70 and have received so many homemade cards today. All are unique and wonderful . Seeing the smiles on my Phoebe’s face and getting to finally see her again on her birthday was such a thrill and I am looking forward to seeing how she uses The Phoebe Collection in her own unique way in her cancer journey book.
My sympathy to the family and friends at Anna’s passing. Loved the pages and cards.
Sweet and very emotional.
