Craftspiration- July 4th, 2024

Hi Griffinites,

Happy Fourth of July to you! We hope that you have a great weekend celebrating with friends and family ahead of you. If you are taking a little time to yourself to craft and be creative, then below you will find lots of ideas to interpret in your craft room. We had a lot of "a ha!" moments when seeing your projects this week, and we know that our crafting community will too!

Marie shared, "My neighbor Kim came over for some help making a special anniversary card for her parents 63rd anniversary. We used the new champagne matte foil and silver to make a special frame for a thru the years photo frame."

This is so special!

Lorri posted, "A card for a 4th of July Birthday."
The stars are aligned on this card!
Dayle wrote, "I just received the Birthday Greetings 3D Concentric Dies this afternoon. I couldn’t wait to make a shaped card with them."
Barbara Lynn said, "and another."
Mary wrote, "Playing with the ribbon frames, on an old picture of my Grandmother and Uncle when they came to the United States from Austria. She was 4, and her brother 2. Her parents had already moved. I used the black matte foil cardstock and used some metallic paste to highlight the engraving."
Fifi shared, "I made this easel card with the Madonna Frame."
Wow! We love how you used the frame!
Diane said, "This is my favorite card that I made this week using the Madonna and Child die set. Getting a head start on Christmas in July let alone Christmas! Can’t wait for HSN Craft Day on July 9th!"
Gay Lynn said, "I made a card for my sis (who likes cats) using the swing out die set… so much fun to make!"
Yvonne posted, "Happy Birthday America!"
Eve said, "My next set of pages using the Seafarer papers."
Suravi made this gorgeous card with the Gentleman's Study Dies.
Janet shared, "Oh beware of an addiction! My Sunday share is the 48 Christmas Greetings Card Making Kit cards, layered but not glued or embellished. I made the mistake of opening the box last night. I made 34 and finished just now. I couldn’t stop! Such beauty! The card bases are over the top and the layers are perfect in color, shape and sentiment. Now on to the embellishments. I have to have another box!!! Thank you, Anna Griffin."
Patti posted, "To make this card, I used the Faded Rose Collection in combination with Anna's Clock, Square Flip, and Square Cardcentric Dies."
Annie Laura shared, "These aprons were made by my maternal grandmother, Annie Iona James Patterson and my aunt, Laura Eva Patterson McCord. I have them and use them. I remember Grandmother making the red and white check when I was 8-10 yrs old. I really treasure all I have learned from these two women on cooking, sewing, painting, quilting, crocheting ! Great memories & LOTS OF LOVE. Do you see where my name comes from?"
We love learning about you!
Clare wrote, "I am reliving the Spirelli art from my childhood! I wanted the beautiful Anna items to shine through so I used a single DMC thread. I am going to be looking through my Anna dies to explore this technique again."
Sally shared, "I finished a layout of some vacation pics. The scrapbook word dies were perfect."
Gorgeous page!
Tracy shared, "This is the front and back of a gift bag I made using Anna's Halloween Trick or Treat Bag Box dies, as well as the Butterfly Gift Card Die and the Butterfly Die from the Butterfly, Bee and Dragonfly Die Set. There's also a little Bee on the front from that aforementioned die set. The possibilities from the bag box dies are endless...I just love them!"
Amazing combination, Tracy!
Marcia posted, "Pulled out Anna’s Vintage Summer Decoupage dies cuts for a summer card. Used an Anna card base and Anna’s light blue vellum embossed with Anna’s Seashell Cluster embossing folder. Then added some Dragonfly glaze to the shells to give them some shine."
This is stunning Marcia!
