Inked doily die card in pink and blue

Craftspiration- January 25th, 2024

Hi crafters,

We are so excited to share the amazing things that our crafting community made and shared this week. We have the most beautiful, old-world valentines, birthday cards and thank you projects to show you today. Griffinites are the most creative, and we love how we inspire each other week after week. From Eve inking her Doily Dies to Arlene's gorgeous slimline valentine, you are sure to find something incredible here on Craftspiration this week.

Let's see what your fellow crafters have been up to this week!

Wanda shared, "For my friends for Easter."

What a pretty layered cross card!

Sherry posted, "I am finishing up my Valentine cards today. To create this shaped card, I used the Lace Doily dies for the card base and the Enchanted Concentric heart dies to make the heart. White lace is added to the back of the heart and the "Be Mine" and cupid were cut out on my Maker 3 using the same pink metallic cardstock as the card base. On the inside I embossed a Lace Doily Embellishment, added a vellum layer with a sentiment on top."
Laura shared, "Good afternoon my Sunday Share friends! I am truly blessed to have beautiful items from Anna Griffin Inc. My red border background card from Christmas Wishes, my center red and white cardstock from the Create 9 box and the pink floral stickers with gold leaves, Cut and Emboss sentiments holder, and sentiment are from Anna Griffin. The hearts are from me using Valentine's candy cardstock! Valentine's Day is a happy time for me with my lady friends!"
The addition of the lace makes your valentine extra special!
Patti wrote, "My Valentine purse made with the Luxury Icon Purse die, enchanted concentric dies and doily dies. Also used AG card stock from 2017 stash, I don’t know the name of the card stock though."
Diane said, "Taking a break from Valentines to make a birthday card for our great nephew. I used the Antique Train Easel but modified it to fit a 5x7 so I could also send his Valentine. What is great about any of Anna’s easel die sets is they can be altered to make other size cards too!"
Tracy posted, "This is a Valentine I made for someone special. Under this kirigami heart is a family photo. For this card, I utilized the Ribbon of Hearts Die border, which I cut to fit."
Jane shared, "Making Valentines today. I used the small Kiragami heart on the inside."
Eve said, "I finally received my doily dies last week. Of course I had to try inking. The combination of blue, pink, and red gives this card a very vintage feel."
Just stunning, Eve! Bravo.
Diane wrote, "The Perfect Pattern Slimline Cut & Emboss Folder is elegant. Would also make a beautiful wedding card."
Vickie shared, "Simple cards using borders I had pre-cut are the order of the day."
Arlene said, "Loving the Ribbon of Hearts Slimline die set which arrived from HSN the other day. Wanted to totally finish it today but freezing rain is keeping me from craft work space out in the work shop (sigh) so will post what I have so far…"
Thea shared, "I love all the new Valentine selection this year. The Lace Doily embellishments and Romantic Stickers & Sentiments made my cards super easy to put together. I had fun making my Valentine cards yesterday!"
Yvonne wrote, "I think I’m in love combining the Enchanted 3D Concentric and the Heart Kirigami dies and made into an easel card. The hidden message says ‘You will forever be my always. Happy Valentine’s Day’. The little cherub sitting on the heart is posed to deliver the message!"
Jane said, "I made 8 cards from the Painted Garden Decoupage Cardmaking Kit yesterday at our group's in person craft day. Took a break from making valentine's and mailing out cards."
These are so fun, Jane!
Mary Beth posted, "It is so delightful creating sentiments of LOVE during this wintery season!!"
Claudia said, "Here is a valentine card I made for my husband."
Classic cars are for all occasions!
Shellie wrote, "Pining for vining, ribbon-draping Valentine hearts like your Perfect Pattern Slimline Cut & Emboss Folder (and, running-not-walking to your website now in hopes to snag a set of my own)! Thank you for your lovely inspiration always, Anna Griffin Inc., and Happy Sunday Share, friends!"
Ramona wrote, "Just made a card for my Granddaughter’s 6th birthday today. An oldie but a goodie die from a few years ago."
Elizabeth said, "My sister-in-law turned 80.  I started with a card from my original “easel cards for her” kit and augmented it using my neoclassic die and dresdens."
Dayle shared, "My Sunday share is a scrapbook page I just finished of my Granddaughter in the community theater production of Frozen Jr. Very appropriate as it was indeed freezing! I used various Anna’s papers and glitter paper. Dies used were the castle dies, crop at home borders and title dies.  I also used snowflake die from the snow globes and snowflake wonderland kits.  As well as embellishments from the snowflake wonderland kit."
You have created the perfect winter scene!

Beth said, "I wasn’t totally satisfied with the first 3D shoe I made. The tie portion was a little too flat for my liking. I figured out how to give it more dimension so that it really looked like a real shoe. I always make a test prototype in white cardstock so encase it doesn’t work out I didn’t waste good cardstock. The prototype worked out so I couldn’t see wasting the shoe. So I did end up decorating it. I am pleased how it turned out . also I only had to make a heel and not a base for the toe."

We think that it's time to head to the craft room and create! Thank you for the overflowing ideas and bountiful amounts of inspiration, friends! To be featured, post your projects with us on our social media channels or email us at RSVP@annagriffin.com.
Love,
Anna
