Halloween themed village with various spooky papers and embellishments

Craftspiration- August 8th, 2024

Hello friends,

We perused all of the lovely things that you made and shared this week, and we got so excited to compile all of the beautiful cards, scrapbook pages and 3D crafts to share with everyone. There are spooky, fun Halloween crafts, beautiful fall projects and a number of festive Christmas projects.

Below you will find ideas of all kinds! Maybe you will see a Griffinite crafting with a die that you forgot that you had. You might find inspiration in the combination of papers, textures and stickers. It's a beautiful thing to see all of the innovation that takes place each week!

Donna said, "I was so happy to have received the Village Easel Dies before they sold out. When I received them, I saw the possibility of many projects. I couldn’t wait to turn them into a Halloween Village. The dies will also make wonderful harvest, spring, summer and of course winter villages."

Clare shared, "I wanted to use the school colors of red, black and white for this page so I started with an Anna animal print. I added some dramatic rose stickers and a die cut title. I decided to give the die a new look by doodling around it and will have to pull out these dies again to doodle more!"

Victoria posted, "I so love the Reason for the Season Embellishments, and it got me started with my Christmas cards. I also made a couple of Madonna & Child that I love so much."
Fifi posted, "A perfect match, a tractor and some harvest embellishments."
Sabrina wrote, "Getting ready for fall."
Eve said, "I was cleaning up and reorganizing. Found last year’s Retro Halloween Stickers. Decided I needed to make a card."
Lorri shared, "Tina and I got together yesterday for a die-cutting party. She has dies that I don't have and I have dies she doesn't have."
Tracy shared, "I finally finished 15 gift packages of Christmas cards with ornaments for a local club I belong to. Everything I used was from Anna; including the die from the Paper Ornament Die Set for the bow embellishment and the Layered Christmas Flowers Dies...(which I didn't know I needed until I used them...and now I'm in love)."
Arlene wrote, "So nice to be posting again and back to card making…my post is for my niece’s birthday in September. For the card used 3D Birthday Greetings Concentric Dies paired with the Anniversary Cardstock Collection."
Shellie wrote, "Thank you for bringing us our hearts' desire for beautiful Champagne Foiled Cardstock, Anna Griffin Inc.! Today, I find comfort and joy in Christmas Greetings Card Making Kit. Coming and going from my craft-spot, I followed your 'recipe' to sort and line up the ample elements of the kit earlier in the week; today, I simply and happily adhered everything and made 12 cards pretty quickly."
Lu posted, "Week 32 of a Christmas card every week. Absolutely love the Reason for the Season Stickers and love the size of the Perfect Poinsettia Stickers!"
Laura said, "I started on making some of my Christmas cards during the Christmas in July month. I have completed about 25 Christmas cards including this one using Anna Griffin's Birthday Wishes dies and sentiment!"
Donna posted, "This card was created using embellishments from older Halloween kits. I then incorporated the new Witchy Shoe Dies to complete my design. I love all of the possibilities you can create with the Witchy Shoe Dies!"
Karen shared, "As I'm sitting in the middle of the desert, trying to stay cool on the 50,000th 110+degree day, I just started pondering..."I wonder what Santa is doing with his summer?" And this is my answer."
Cheryl said, "Thank you for taking an interest in my Christmas original card designs!! I hope you enjoy them."

Loving all the cards and pages.

Patti Breidenstein

The holidays are just around the corner. I made a couple Pumpkin Easel cards and die cut some Pumpkin Kiragami dies. I haven’t started my Christmas cards yet, but I plan to when my wonderful prize from July 25th arrives. So much inspiration and creativity. Thank you everyone for sharing your lovely creations.
Lorri and Tina have the right idea. Sharing their stash with each other.
Happy Crafting!

Love all the Halloween and fall projects. I never made cards for Halloween, but now that I have grandkids… I love making cards for them!
