Today we are going to take a look back at some of our most memorable crafting items from the last 10 years on HSN. Did you know that our brand is now over 25 years old and I have been selling crafts on TV for more than 18 years? Those are 2, amazing facts in a world where everything seems so temporary. We could not have done it without all of you. Whether you have just joined us or have been crafting with us all along, we sincerely appreciate you being here.
From paper crafting kits and tools to craft room furniture, bedding and more, we have brought the world of Anna Griffin to HSN. Over the last decade we have inspired millions of people to make things and it has been a joy and a privilege to be part of your lives for all this time.
Here’s a little blast from the past…
Our first Designer Paper Kit on HSN wasn’t Isabelle, but it is fun to see it here. The Darcy collection is in the background too. Bold graphic prints adorned most of our collections in 2010. Always evolving, ever changing.
Our All Occasions Card Making Kit was the first card making kit that debuted on HSN in 2011. I will never forget the day that I was sitting at my desk playing with a bunch of elements when it hit me how much fun it would be to have everything you needed to make a 3D card in one box. Just like inventing our imprintable wedding invitation kits in 1998, DIY just got easier!
On our second HSN anniversary, we debuted our Quotes Clear Stamps in January 2012. Clear stamps were the very first products we sold on QVC UK back in 2002. This was before we had hour long shows and so many products!
In July 2012, we brought you our Fleur Rouge Designer Kit. Inspired by the Paris Flea Market, this designer paper kit was so chic! Vintage cotton prints, toile de jouy inspired card stock and antique labels set the bar for all inclusive designer collections.
How many of you were with us for the launch of the Anna Griffin branded Cuttlebug in 2013? This changed everything! I remember being so nervous in the green room right before the Today’s Special launch. I was with Ashish Arora and I told him that I just wanted to make him proud. I still want to do that everyday!
In January 2014, we brought you our Coca Cola 24 Assorted Cards Gift Set. Isn’t it fun to see the amazing vintage memorabilia? It is straight from the archives of Coca Cola and I was thrilled to be able to work with such a collection. This collector’s card set came in a cardboard replica of a vintage cooler.
I had the honor of launching the first Cricut Explore in February 2014. Cricut has always been cutting edge, and the technology just keeps getting better! It’s amazing to think about how many milestones we have passed together.
In 2015 we debuted Anna Griffin Craft Room Furniture from SEI. This elegant craft room was designed to compliment any decor and to create your own crafting oasis at home.
Anna Griffin Home debuted with Olivia and Grace Bedding Collections along with quilts, robes and slippers. Can you say cozy?
Over the years, we have brought you all kinds of innovative card making kits like our Sunny Salutations Pop up card kit. You can count on us to bring it to you first! Just think, flip cards, pop up cards, window box cards, window ledge, window frame, swivel and pop, continuous, easel….and the list goes on!
Speaking of innovative dies our Haunted Easel Dies in August 2019 were a huge hit. The best part was seeing all of the different ways that you designed your cards! From Victorian houses to spooky mansions, we adore this die set and the creativity it sparks.
Last, but certainly not least, The Empress and Empress Mini machines changed the way we die cut and emboss in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Don’t you love these machines? We just launched Finishing School, our online learning platform, and it has how to videos on using both of these crafting powerhouses!
In looking back through my year book, I am so proud of how far we have come. The triumphs outweigh the challenges and in this ever-changing world of consumer products, my greatest accomplishment is not a product, it is this community. Thank you for all of the love and support you give me and my team each and every day.
Buckle up for the next 10 years, buttercup!
